Shyrae nodded, watching Kaznec turn around and taking the clothes, then pulling Jae's wrap off of her shoulders. "Sky, come here. Put your hands on my shoulders for balance." Helping the little woman into the pants using traditional means so that she might learn to dress herself. "Arms straight up to the sky." Reaching out and holding her shoulders to keep her balanced and slipping the tunic over her head. It was a simple matter to tighten and tie strings so that she was properly covered and the clothes fit her well enough. Shy had no idea why Gem had clothes that could be used for dragons what with wings and tails but she wasn't questioning it. "There, now you're covered. Leave those on all the time, alright?"
Letting the smaller woman go, she stepped back slightly and held out her hand. "Feel better? Then come with me and we'll get you some food." Clearing her throat, "Kaznec has it. Ask him nicely."
Obviously that peck she'd given to Desdemona hadn't worked. Perhaps a bit more intervention was necessary. Desdemona was handling it all wrong, accusing and forcing Jae into a corner. Cornered dragons fought and while Jae might be small, Eilynne knew just how much she was capable of as she'd been here at one point in time. She shifted her weight on Kaznec's shoulder and squawked angrily at the fighting dragonesses.
"Your dragonlady taught Skylheera the process of altering forms. The secrets so long hidden are becoming clear and it frightens her. Jaebell and Skylheera, sisters of a kind. Jaebell would rather she not be." Shaking her head, "And now another seeks to open eyes that have always been half shuttered for protection's purposes. I do not understand her anger but she's likely going to need you very soon. Uncertain of how to deal with what is happening, she'll make a rash mistake and lash out. You have to be prepared."

"Bird." Saying as the raven came on the scene before food and clothes came. She was more interested in food but it seemed the clothes were more important and she let Shyrae dress her, not really sure what was happening really but letting the girl do it none the less. However an unhappy look as she tugged at it lightly. "Not good." This was not good at all. It felt funny. But food made her forget that a moment later and she looked to Kaznec, or more pointedly his back. Letting go of Shyrae's hand she stumbled around to his front. A look at food, a look back to Shyrae, then Kaz, then Shy, then food again before a point at said food. "Sky please?" Was that right? meant a reaffirming look to Shyrae.
Des we just dragging up more things to the surface that Bell was usually at peace with. Her life was fine with her...or had been. She hadn't know her parents or anything of the sort, she was clumsy and lived with it, she wasn't quite the same as the others but that added spice to life. And she had been happy with that, always so optimistic and able to see past any of the ill insinuations and what not. But Des was verbally bashing everything that was even a comfort to her, like her little inventing passion. "You...you think you have the right and gall to be my judge?!" And now we were yelling and didn't much care who heard. "You who are no better than a wild beast and glutton for your own pleasures and wrong doings, seeks to judge on what I think and do?! Why don't you take yourself back over there," point of a finger to the Chimera, "and wallow in your own self delusions instead of seeking to tear me down! You might not want to waste any time Des, he's human!" Jaebelltiah didn't like being mean, it felt wrong and felt not like her. But what was she going to do? hit her? Des would literally tear her to pieces.
Gem looked up again as the sound of yelling penetrated even her cabin. What was going on on her ship?! Where the hell had all the order gone?! That's it, everyone was getting brigged or yardarmed and that was just how it was going to be. Taking a moment to make sure her pistol was loaded she headed out of her cabin.
He wrinkled his nose. "You're nots too funs to play games with...do you have any friends?" Curious tilt of head. Maybe he just didn't know how to play.

And now Des was yelling back.
"Life's not so easy for us out here, and we can't have some priss who's scared of what she might be interfering with who she is! I have every right to be your judge and jury since your own self can't accept things and move along with them! I won't be hanging for or have my life rely on someone who can't do what they have to do or what they want to do because their too scared of it!"
shoving her back this time.
"So what if one or both of your parents were Rider dragons. you aren't, so get over it! quit hiding in the belly of a ship with your tinker toys or we might as well just leave you here as dead weight!"
then jamming her finger over at Kanzec.
"think he'll see something else? think it'll matter so much!? then to the Locker with you both!"
before grabbing her and pulling her close, eyes narrowed and gleaming with red, pupils narrow slits now.
"And you ever, and I mean ever, insinuate that what I want with hunter is anything like a wild beast again, I'll rip your horns off and beat you to death with them."
before pushing her down this time and hopping up on the railing.
"I swear by the Sands I've never met a dragoness in my life in more need of getting laid than you!"
before gliding her self back over to the Chimera, and growling as hunter went about paying off richards and slammed open the doors down to the cargo hold to cool herself off before she did something really mean and probably stupid.
Fang looked down.
"Friends are for those too weak to take what they want. I have no need or use of friends."

Meanwhile, he watched Jae and Desdemona quarrel, one of them getting entirely too hostile for comfort. He had no idea why Des kept looking his way or if she trying to pick a fight, but he stayed where he was and merely listened to the voice in his head. What did 'sisters of a kind' mean? Yes, they were both female dragons. Both rather small in form and proportions, both with smooth tail and a lack of blades and other such physical weaponry, both a little clumsy but none of that really meant anything. Or was Eilynne trying to tell him that they were related by blood...? "If I know how to soothe her anger, then I will." Even if he was still confused, how frustrating.
But his attention was momentarily caught again by hands on his stomach and he blinked down at Sky, now fully dressed. Well, that was a relief. Apparently she wanted the food now and so he offered it to her, tapping the shredded pieces of meat. "Only eat these, Sky. Not the plate." Tapping that to make his point as well before he handed the plate to her, making sure she had a firm grasp since she was most likely still trying to master dexterity in this form. "Chew carefully before swallowing."
It seemed like his attention was being ripped back and forth today and once again, he found himself looking over to the two dragonesses as their yells could now be heard by mostly all. It seemed like Des was trying to pass certain judgments on Jae's actions, or lack thereof. Then something about Riders?... And he was duly pointed at, which he frowned at before promptly stepping in as Des got too violent. "Don't threaten her again unless you want the same done to you." Watching her go with a certain animosity before he turned back and helped Jae back to her feet, watching her closely as he took a moment to tie her wrap back around her waist, Desdemona's words regarding him still ringing in his mind. "What am I supposed to see?"

Took her a few seconds to learn to grip the plate hard enough to bear its weight in her hands as she was learning to use them. But a nod from her about the plate and the food, the round thing the food was on didn't smell too good to eat anyway. Taking it thus with a grin, her attention turned back to Shyrae as she negotiated picking up a piece of food from the plate. Fingers weren't as good as claws.
Apparently, Des wasn't going to be backing down...no instead she was stepping up and acting out. Seemed like someone else couldn't take a certain few truths herself either. As vindicating that may be for Bell, it all went out the window when Des got hands on with her, pulling and pushing with that clearly threatening pressure and strength. But she was smart enough to stay put on the deck where she'd been pushed down until Des left. Honestly thought she was surprised to hear Kaznec's voice and then see his boots before Des did leave, and then he was pulling her up. And just like good old Kaznec, when the situation had been terminated then things were back on their normal tracks and he went about normal motions, namely giving her back the rest of her wardrobe. But she didn't look at him, or maybe it was the bird on his shoulder, merely kept her head slightly bowed. "Nothing...she's just talking to hear herself. Did you find out which was home was?" Maybe it was time to go.

Was there a reason people couldn't stand still?! Eilynne took flight as Kaznec moved, landing on the railing of the ship and ruffling her feathers. She understood and approved a moment later when Jae was literally thrown to the floor of the ship. No, Desdemona hadn't taken her warning, but she'd deal with that later. Right now, she needed to soothe another Captain's ruffled feathers. Thus changing back to the form they knew her as and standing before a rather irritated Captain Nereem. "Everything is fine, Captain. I apologize for the disturbance."
"You'll get used to them." Shy could tell that Sky was having issues and she tilted her head and watched then started thinking about it. Patting a crate, she took a seat. "Sit down, Sky. I'll help." The crate would help Sky not have to worry about her balance and might make this lesson a little easier. Reaching over to the plate, she broke off a piece of meat and then set it on her tongue, chewing slowly. "Little bites, you don't have fangs that can tear hard meat so it will take you longer to chew. See?"
She tilted her head. "Your Daddy tried to eat you when you were little, didn't he?"

Nothing usually meant nothing, that was the way he'd been taught. This time though, nothing seemed like something and concern spread over his face when she avoided his eyes. She didn't want to look at him, it was just him since Eilynne had left to take care of other things presumably. Was that the wrong question to ask? Was he actually supposed to not see anything? "No, she wasn't. She was yelling at you and threatening you too." Well ok, if she wasn't going to look at him then he'd accommodate. Leaning forward and ducking his head then, he peered up into her face, looking for signs of injury or something else that should worry him. "He said we could probably leave the saltbeds if we head northwest but many Rider outposts mark that path. That isn't home though, home is behind us."

Fang looked at the things and scoffed.
"eat me? that old devil would have to do a lot more than eat me."
glancing at the crew.
"Ready the cannons. fire on my command."
looking back at them.
"I want my ship back under my command. if you keep refusing, I'll make your ears bleed if I have to."

She was very ready to start shooting people in their legs to get some order around here, and then kick them all off her ship. Gem was just cocking her gun when Eilynne stepped into her path, probably sparing a few people from wrath. "Everything is fine? Dragonesses throwing each other around on my deck is fine? Screaming on my deck is fine? Potentially causing injury in the middle of nowhere is fine? Right now I will not tolerate such things. If they can't be civil they can get the hell off my ship." Oh yes she was right stressy and bitchy now.
"Des does those kinds of things." She was stuck staring a moment when gold caught amber unexpectedly. His logic driven self was supposed to tell him that she was okay because she said nothing was wrong. Then, she could go cry or sulk or whatever it was she felt like doing right now. "Then you have a good course out of here and can be safe long as you're careful, right?" If anything she had to know that he was going to be okay out here, it's what friends did.
She did not like this. Hm, there were a few downsides to this wasn't there? Much so. But she did as she was told and watched as Shyrae made the pieces smaller and then went about eating them. There was just no ripping and tearing with these blunt teeth. But a nod and she tried the method, finding that indeed went much better and with a smile to Shyrae, on to wolfing her food down, though that caused a little coughing fit. Hm, couldn't eat as fast.
He whispered to his sister's ear now. "I think he dids." Shaking his head lightly before flicking his ears up some. What was a canon? But a frown at the mention of blood and then came the unhappy again. "You're bad at games."

"I understand, Captain. Desdemona has gone back off to her own ship. There should be no more of any of that and order is restored. You know as well as I that dragoness breeds trouble wherever she goes." Yes, attempting to soothe the Captain since the last thing she needed was guns going off in various directions and the possibility of one of her own getting hurt.
Shyrae shook her head. "Slow down, Sky or you'll cho-" Too late. Patting her on the back lightly, she quirked an eyebrow and waited. "Better?" There was a barrell of fresh water nearby and she dipped a cup she pulled from a runic pocket out, filling the cup and handing it to her. "Take a drink. Hold the cup with both hands, press it to your lips and tilt it just a little. Don't lap it like you usually would but pour some into your mouth and swallow." Demonstrating with another cup. She had to teach her everything, didn't she?
She nodded to her brother, covering her mouth to hide a giggle or two then felt her ears. "I don't thinks so mr. bully. And cheaters always get in trouble so yous better be carefuls."

"But she has no right to." Shaking his head to confirm that thought and he merely blinked in return as she stared at him, holding that gaze for a moment longer until he decided that she was alright. She didn't look hurt physically, Des had been offensive but not outrageously so. But tilting his head in that semi-confused fashion as she answered him with another question of her own, oddly worded though. Why him in particular? They were all in this together. "We have to be careful, regardless of if we choose to take that path or not. I don't trust entirely trust him but that is all the information we have. I'll further confer with the captains later." A glance over at Sky who was now easily ingesting her food. "Sky said you taught her how to transform. That was smart of you, I couldn't remember how to do it myself. She said you used a mean and bad voice with her though..."

"And what game are we supposed to be playing when I can't do anything? and I lie, cheat, and steal for a living. So your words are meaningless to me."
but not saying anything else. these two were convinced this was some kind of game, and he wanted to know what game they were playing. might get a little insight on their 'father' and his plans.
Hunter smirked lightly.
"Looks like everyone but the blind elf is off our boat. maybe we'll get lucky and it'll stay that way. I doubt it. mister richards, get us ready for sail as soon as possible. we'll give Des some time to cool off, and then we'll have a talk about what happened on the Claw."

"It's a past time for her." Holstering her pistol again and crossing her arms. "As much as I woudl enjoy throwing them all into the sand at this moment, I'm trying not to be mean. Do please everyone makes sure they behave, trouble makers or not around."
A nod, because now she didn't hurt anymore and apparently there was more to this eating things. Or rather drinking thing as we learned how to now nad she mastered it with a bit of ease, managing to not dump water all over her front. Not that she would be embarassed. But soon enough food was gone from her plate and she looked at is as if expecting it to produce more, her brain telling her that she hadn't eaten enough in one sitting, despite how her stomach ached a little. "More?"
And now she had to defend herself against the little dragon who was oh so enjoying herself."I just showed her how I was taught. And I was just short with her is all...I don't feel entirely like myself." Like she was going to tell him how she felt about the creature and let him in on what was the real problem...Des was right, in all truth. A sigh and a slight frown. "I think I'm going home..." Hugging her arms around herself, hands rubbing her arms lightly. "I did my part here, I'm just dead weight now." Eilynne was right too. But that didn't mean she had to accept it.
"We're playing treasue hunt. Gotta stay here till daddy is done hiding it and then comes back. Then we can go."
"Call me that again and I'll rot your tounge out of your head." Said as she walked by with something skeletal in tow, carrying a coil of rope for her. Just because she couldn't mean didn't mean she was never listening...she liked to have ears in every place possible.

"Not to worry, Captain. Everything should be just fine now. But I need to confer with you about a few things and I'd like your opinion on the black dragon that showed up. Captain Deacon has little to no faith and wants my guarantee that I will grant you my power. Do you feel the same?"
"Very good, Sky." Praise was important since she was still technically learning. She glanced down at the plate and took it from the woman, shaking her head and handing it off with a thanks to Galley to one of the messenger boys. "You don't need as much in this form. If you eat anymore you'll feel very bad and have trouble walking." She watched the girl's hair fall in her face yet again and stood up, walking behind her and taking to pulling her hair out of her face and clipping it. "There, now you can actually see."
"The game hasn't started yet, stupid. Daddy has to say go. You're really bads at this aren't you?"

Well, at least she was looking at him now. Sort of. "You still don't feel well?" That was not a good sign and Sky was momentarily forgotten as he put a hand to her forehead and then her neck, feeling for that fever she'd had when she'd first fallen ill. There wasn't much of anything but her declaration jerked eyes back to hers. "Go home... back to Ilindal?" He didn't know what dead weight meant but he did know that this was too much of a surprise, he'd just never imagined she'd be leaving in the middle of it. "But it's not over yet. We've found shards, yes, but the answer is still out there. We still need you, like Eilynne said."
