Jessica raised a brow and crossed her arms lightly.
"Got any names? I don't recall anyone that might want us under military control. most of them were happy to get rid of us with the arrival of Echo. seems odd."

"Nope. I may be able to get situations and outlines, but names are hush hush, barely spoken. Just know that it's a bit to do on earth, well in the right circles of course. But I'm just saying son't be surprised if we go cut off status."

"Thanks for the warning. I'll have the personal requisitions put on top priority, that way get them in before a cut off situation. It just seems odd to have them come up out of the blue like that. probably some admiral or general looking to get into politics by making a big splash."
She rolled her eyes lightly.
"So Camp, how is Jelena's system holding up? want those nanos yet or is she doing good enough on her own?"

"I do my best to keep those who would go nuclear over sudden cut off, informed." A little shrug. "You're probably right though, anyone looking for politcal game big time usually goes after us first."
"She's still tracking, no need to do anything more to her till she fully bodily stables out and I can get her off of various meds. But she's bouncing back pretty well...though of course her drugs make it look different." He still wanted her down as long as it was veritably ethical to keep her so. "You and your fun in bioware...though I think I may like to expand into this field up here...earth is getting tight."

Lillia listened to their talk and digested it but didn't contribute much to the conversation. After all, she had nothing to do with FS and only really knew a lot about the Echo operation. Meta was a whole different ballgame though she was learning more and more through random conversations with James, not to mention the random comments he made.
Her eyes swung to Camp immediately and she listened to every word the doctor said. Jelly was doing alright, coming out of her drugged sleep wel even though her reflexes and motion was stunted. That was to be expected considering the major overhaul she'd had performed. An entire new system her body now had to get used to and learn to work with. Lillia knew Jelena would rise to the challenge and overcome it with all the grace and flourish that the slightly chaotic woman always claimed. It was a pure miracle to see her do so and Lillia felt excitement coursing through her veins at the thought of the coming months.
"When will she be lucid again?"

Camp crossed his arms and nodded, scratching at his chin a moment with a hand. But he looked to Lillia. "Oh...I suspect about a good half hour, maybe hour. I would give her a counter drug, but I don't want to put anything else into her system and perhaps put her into shock from the mixes." Then his attention went back to Jessica.
"Well James gave me the idea really. Right now I'm stationed in a low grade military base/space port. Getting dull I would say...and you know the caps on work down on earth." A playful look to Lillia. "If she can get into Fleet, I"m sure I could."

She rolled her eyes but grinned nonetheless, "Yes although I have to point out that appearances can be decieving. Under this blonde hair hides a truly brialliant scientific mind. I was splicing atoms when I was two thank you very much." But she said the whole thing in her happy voice with a bright smile on her face and then glanced at Camp.
"I'd love to have you up here. Another attractive man to add to the few we have..." She grinned at him, "I'd certainly take more sick days."

A roll of her eyes, adn a gesture to start waking james' up, slowly but surely, which started with making his bionic arm twitch, almost like the frankenstien mosnter indeed. but that was nothing. mostly just making sure the bionic's worked.
"I think the last thing we might need is another good looking man. we'll have to let Erik get eaten or scarred real good to counter balance you."

"Now now dear, all the smart ones are cool eyed and fair haired these says it seems. Certinally breaks the 'blonds are idiots' thing that ancient earth had. Really...such thinking is so silly." However he chuckled at the comment. "Good looking? A compliment indeed from the lovely young lady."
Erik laughed. "Don't let them fool you there Camp. You see how they treat the good looking ones? We're nothing but fancy biological clock satisfiers." Another laugh from him, crossing his arms. "You women, I swear."

Jessica raise a brow at that comment. if she was a shark, that woudl be the look of blood in the water.
"Fancy biological clocks, eh? you hear this Lillia? all this badmouthing about how we think and from a man no less. though...with all this badtalking about the ladies, and a lack of a serious girlfriend to my knowledge, are we sure Mister Erik isn't homosexual?"
A smirk.
"Might explain his lack of even thinking to have my hands all over him while he was unconcious on my worktable. Maybe if Doctor Camp offered to do some work he'd be more inclined?"

Lillia did giggle at Jessica' comment but couldn't help but point out, "Can't be because we women manbash and I don't find you attractive in the least Jessica. At least not like that."
Grinning at Camp, "Of course not. The color of one's hair has nothing whatsoever to do with the intelligence one holds in their brain. It's absolutely preposterous that would even presume to connect the two."
And then as if she hadn't even said all that, she turned to Erik and girnned, "Hey now, you get satisfaction out of it too. Besides, I'm sure I coul dhave you begging to satisfy my biological clock in no time Erik darling. We women are good like that." she winked at Jessica.

Erik rolled his eyes. "How come when anyone of us says something about women but aren't groping at you or wanting you to grope us then we're suddenly homosexual? For crying out loud...I had my girl fest in high school and college, I'm settling for the one girl only track now...it's just hard to find women up here who are willing for that after all."
Though he did laugh in spite of it all. "And your hands on me with me on a table Jessica, you'd be putting bioware in me. I'm not up for that thanks." Then a look to Lillia. "And you're just full of yourself."

Jessica gave a little chuckle.
"I'm sure she could, full of herself or not. and there are women in that field, dear Erik. I bet you'll find a lot more interest now that most know you and Jelena are not bonded at the hip thanks to the commander there."
Speaking of which..and little step over to Jelena, wave her hand to get her attention. after all, maybe she'd get lucky and Jelena would be able to give yes and no or some simple answers.
"Hey Jelena darling...sweety...you can tell ol' Jessica..how's the old soldier in the sack?"
She couldn't help it, it was the perfect time for a little gossip gathering, and a drugged up Jelena might actually answer.
"and as for you, Erik...we man bash only in general terms. however, many a man woudl love and adore my hands on them for any reason. Actually had one over zealous kid tell me he was going to cut his legs off at teh hips so my hands would have to be close to certain parts of anatomy when doing bioware. until I told him my speciality was the brain and head."

Lillia's eyes went wide at that statment and she stared at Jessica for a long moment. Wow...that was, disturbing. Someone willing to cut parts of another off...yeah she wasn't going to touch that one with a ten foot pole.
But she shrugged at Erik, "You couldn't have me anyway, I"m married to my thesis remember?" Then she skipped over to Dr. Camp. "Now the good doctor here, I might consider getting a divorce for." Grinning at him and patting his arm. "Would you marry me if I did, Dr. Camp?" she asked sweetly.
