Summer Outreach Post #1 (I hope I'm doing this right!)
Dear First year,
What I love most about Haven are the contests. Well, actually no. What I love most about Haven are the people. Even when bad things happen, like floods, and hurricanes and fires, and friends getting hurt and maybe even passing on, the people in your Common Room and the Great Hall have a word of cheer, or caring, or advice, or a shoulder to cry on.
I hope you'll love the contests. The prizes are really cool - I just won $1000 gold and that was for coming in second in the Summer Banner contest. Anyway, I'm glad you joined and I hope you like it here.

For First Years,
There are so many things to love about the Haven. I love the contests and events. They are a lot of fun and they aren't all the same ones. There are banner contests, fanfiction contests and then there are the events that deal with the season and with things that happened in the HP books.
I hope you have a lot of fun in the Haven and remember to just be yourself. The people here are amazing and you can talk to them and they are very good listeners! Thanks for joining the Haven and I can't wait to see you all roaming around!

 Post #3To the First Years, Welcome to our wonderful guild, the Haven for Harry Potter Fanatics! I first joined this guild roughly two years ago, and have remained an active member ever since. Why, you ask? Because of how many amazing things the Haven has to offer. One of the best pasts about the Haven is the people in it. Sure, there are hundreds of members, but among those hundreds are a few really good people, all of whom are smart, witty, fun, thoughtful, caring, and welcoming. When I first joined, it took me no time at all to integrate myself into the Haven, because the members are all so helpful and friendly. They're good for a debate, wonderful to just talk to, and no one's better at being there for you when you're down. Just post a couple times in the Great Hall and in your common room and you'll have plenty of friends in no time. -ScottieBears MiaKitty, Gryffindor

Summer Outreach post #8 Hufflepuff
Although I'm a first year Hufflepuff and not quite sure if I'm doing this right, my favorite places in this guild are the House Commons. As to any incoming first years, don't do what I'm doing by being in four different guilds at once. It makes for alot of confusion. Although I haven't quite gotten to know all of you yet, as I'm a bit of a hermit, I think it's wise to post as many places as possible, get to know everyone, etc.
So far, I also like the fanfiction forum (as I read alot them, and I sometimes write).

Summer outreach post #9 RavenclawHello to all you new first years! First of all, I hope that everyone who joins likes this guild, as I enjoy quite a lot. I really enjoy posting in my common room, because those are the people that I associate (sp?) and socialize a lot with in the Haven, so it helps to introduce yourself, tell them a little bit about yourself (ie: likes, habits, fav. sports, things like that) so the people in your house get to know you. As for the posts, I really like the "Who Would you Marry?" and the "Top Ten" game. Those are always intersesting. And also the "Would you Rather?" thread is fun, too. But I'd have to say that my all time favorite threads and topics are the ones that really make you think to come up with a good response where you really have to explain yourself. I also like the debate topics where you discuss various characters and such. Basically I like the topics where you need to think hard for a good response. Also, just post as often as you can so you can move up in years. I'm still a first year (I think), but I try to post as often as possible so I can be a second year (unless I already am, I sort of lost track of where I've posted and how many posts I have). I hope that you really like this guild.
