I tried one as all purple colors and it was frightening. The venus bikini does not work well with the gloves/sleeves on Gaia. the different shades of purple shouldn't mix like that. gonk
For my Witchblade account, I used mostly tattoos to get the overall feel for her outfit. It layered just fine, you shouldn't have a problem one bit with the tattoos. Headdress/veil and the circlet shouldn't be a problem. though I would suggest buying the cheaper of the two and going through the marketplace to be sure. xd

Oh I know about the purple nightmare, too! D: There are like fifty different shades of pink and purple, if things weren't released in a set, odds are they won't match.

Loved the armor.
Those Arm bandages made it all. xd
And yeah, I side with the expensive version of the Flamebird costume too sweatdrop
I'd usually prefer the darker red of the cheaper suit but it doesn't look good with the bright yellow of gloves and boots.
Not to mention the horrible layering of the leggings that makes it layer over all boots.
