Flute Choir just started up again, I'm mostly on first chair because I was in it last year and my tuning/tone is pretty good other times, but sometimes my note range or just the notes trip me up. Otherwise I'm on second chair.

Otherwise I'm on second chair. Flute choir? Not fair, I don't even think we have one in this state ><; We have a flute choir at the summer camp that I go to. It's alot of fun.

I'm third chair in my band . . . I have a very strong desire to MURDER our section leader . . . Or at least beat her out and take her spot xd

Sometimes I want her spot so bad 'cus I'm better than last chair...Our band director glares at me whenever the 3rd chair messes up, even though I get it right. He's so age-ist (sp?) stare

He's so age-ist (sp?) stare yes, that just isnt right. luckily i dont have a bd that is like that, well its probably because there was an excriciating difference between me, the other freshman, and the senior last year. of course i came out best... which is pretty sad. confused since i suck.

The day before winter break, all the people in band got to go caroling for different classrooms. it was so much fun!! I was in a flute trio and we got a lot of food from teachers that liked our playing. haha

Yay! I'm 3rd chair at my school in our top band, I lurve mah section leader and I just got a piccolo for Christmas I like, ecstatic! whee

So today I found out I'm unable to audition (on flute, of course) for all-state, because my score was too low.
By only A POINT.
That's such a major disappointment.
But, I have regionals next week, so I don't really have the time to be upset about it.
