((A long post by Alina! eek *is very impressed* Good post, sweetie... Sorry, but I don't think Yurin will want to be questioned at a time like this.... sweatdrop ))
((Aaactually, if Alina's head wasn't as empty as she acts, she would know that Yurin Stonebow was one of the Heroes bound to the Horn, his legend known as well as that of Birgitte. Then, again, like I said if, but we all know better. xp *laughs* so we want to make fun, do we? We shall see, we shall see...))
Yurin walked towards the boy, nay, the man he had taught. He looked every bit as strong as he ever had been, a little worse the wear for his ride, and his horse, uncharacteristically, haggard.
"Dar! You know better than all this formality, it's Mog to you. You've always been a friend. Why have you run Horse, silly name for such a fine creature, I tell you, so ragged? That gelding almost died under you. Why are Whitecloaks after you? Why are you riding in the rain? Why didn't you just Gate here?", About to continue his barrage of questions, Yurin saw his former student swaying on his feet, trying to hold a position of attention to his superior.
"Enough of this nonsense, Dar. You are asleep on your feet, you shall answer my queries when we get some hot food in your belly, and a few hours rest into your bones. Come I know just the-",
A bedraggled whelp of a female dressed in a drenched Accepted dress came in making every attempt at trying to act the part of an Aes Sedai and succeeding as much had Horse tried. The guard knuckling his forehead at the soaked female, seemed to be struggling not to laugh as her haughty attempt at an Aes Sedai's cool demeanor was destroyed by her just-out-of-the-river appearance.
Her nose in the air such that she could barely see down it at the tall Gaidin standing before her, she began to make demanding requests of him, even if it was 'politely'. His student, no, his friend, stood there, half-starved, exhausted, drenched, swaying near death, and this 'girl' thought this was any of her business?!
"Child.", a single word, dripping with scorn, and edged with barely suppressed rage, "This is none of your concern. My student, my friend, stands before me, exhausted, drenched, possibly sick or hurt, and you want to stand around and have your idle curiousity answered while you make puddles on the floor and play at being an Aes Sedai? Your presence was not requested, nor is it required. I suggest you scurry back to the Tower before you hurt yourself. Oh, and try to lower your nose or you might drown."
Angrily turning on his heel, Mog went to his student and opened a Gateway easily large enough for the two of them and Horse. As the went through, they exited in an stall kept empty for just this purpose, the quiet comings and goings of the Amyrlin's Gaidin. Perks of the position. The Gateway sliced shut as of slamming a door, Yurin hadn't been this angry in a long time. That Light Blinded hair-brained fool! Coming in as if she owned the guardhouse, making demands of a Gaidin trying to aid a friend? Of all the foolish- The Amyrlin would hear of this. And that Mistress, what was her name, Vancelle? Let's see how important it was to play Aes Sedai before you had earned the title, young one.
Mog took Darius to one of the dozens of guest rooms. Vaulted ceiling with a large mural from wall, across ceiling, to wall, depicting some ancient battle. dominated the room, an enormous, overstuffed, four-post bed took up a large portion of the floor, a large fireplace, with a large armchair placed just so in front of it, a large bookcase, , and a beautiful, gleaming copper tub finished the furnishings. Immediately, as if he had called for them, servants began appearing, quietly offering dry clothing, starting a fire, removing boots, heating the bed, a bath, and several scurrying to the kitchens to bring a hot meal for the Amyrlin's Gaidin. Perks indeed! If it hadn't been for his concern over his friend, Mog would've grinned at the utter efficiency, the Tower had some of the best help he had ever seen.
Reaching for Dar's forehead, the Delving he had been taught flowed into his student, Damer's Healing didn't pull from the student the way that the Aes Sedai's did, if he was injured, Yurin prayed to the Creator that he would be able to help him, Darius was far too exhausted to take the not-too-tender ministrations of the Yellows.
((Sorry, Alina! lol Baaad time to come asking questions... blaugh ))
Alina Sedai
After a long and arduos ((sp?))((arduous)) morning of finding an Aes Sedai passed out, almost getting killed by a man who should be Gentaled ((Gentled))becauase ((because))he is more then HALF mad, and STILL not knowing if she was going to be stilled or not, she dicedid ((decided))it was a good idea to take a nice long ride. She had gone to the stables, looking for her lovely mare, Honey, for a nice long walk in the foresets((forests)) suronding ((surrounding))Tar Valon.
as she headed towards the gate, when she noticed, the Warder from last night, i think his name is urine ((Yurin))or somthing... poor man if that really is his name... talking to a man, that seemed tobe ((to be))half diliorus ((sp?))((delirious)) she swished her braid over her shoulder and started to play with it. her yellow eyes flashing at the new arrivel ((sp yet again?))((arrival)) Although she was now deacintly ((sp?))((distinctly.. I think that was what that was supposed to be..)) in Accepted white with the 7 bands, she still had the reagalness((regalness)) she always had when she went out, she was aware that the great serpent ring on her finger was not where she wished it to be, but she knew that, if it had not been for Mesaana, she would be Aes Sedai now.
She rode casually over to the Gaidin known all well that he was Clarissa's, but she did not know who this other man was. the guard nuckled((knuckled)) his forehead at her and she nodded. "excuse me...Gaididn((Gaidin)), but what is going on here? who is this man?" she knew very little of urine((Yurin)), really, who would name their child that? ((someone who wanted to honor the Heroes of Legend, he hates the name, too)) but that he came in a few years ago as a deligation((delegate, how can one man be a whole delegation?)) from Rand, and stayed((that was the plan)). She tried not to stare at him, he had a look to him that was very inviting. she patted the side of Honeys neck instead.

Eyes glazed, Darius attempted to present himself with discipline, as he was taught. Heat least had a small victory in that he was standing upright, standing before his mentor, the quick-fired questions hitting him like pebbles on a barn, and making as much of an impression. He was still trying to coax meaning from the first when he distinctly heard the words 'food' and 'sleep'. Suddenly, he was able to grasp a little of what was going on.
A new voice intruded on his daze, and Darius staggered as he turned a little too quickly toward the newcomer. She began questioning Yurin as if she were in charge, and expected an answer, Darius was about to ask who she was to speak to his T'sorovar'm'hael ((sp?)) in such a manner, when the teacher he had grown quite fond of taught her what it was to speak out of turn. He smiled to himself. He had felt the rough side of that tongue, and a few bites from practice swords, too. He was glad this wasn't aimed his way.
Looking as intently at her as he could, Darius noticed that she seemed vaguely familiar, as if he should know her from somewhere.. Before he could think of it, he was being led through a Gateway, larger than he could've made, but, then again, Yurin was one of the strongest next to the Lord Dragon, it was to be assumed his Gate would be the size it was.
A sensation of the warmth of life, there were horses here. Dar almost went to find a haystack to lay on when he was led into the largest place he had ever been in. Being from a small town, he had never seen anything of this magnitude. The views swirled before his eyes as he tried to take it all in, his eyes too tired to make out more than colors. The room he suddenly found himself in was a flurry of motion, there were several people scurrying about. Had Mog asked for them? He couldn't remember. So tired. The bath steamed as it was filled with water. That sounded even better than sleep at the moment. The smell of food wafted into the room as two nicely pretty girls in white curtsied their ways past him to place their burdenous trays on a table next to the tub.
Offering a smile, and a gracious bow, heedless of exhaustion, "Thank you, ladies, if there is anything I can do for you.."
He expected Mog's beratement, the Battle Leader didn't like that Darius encouraged the fact that girls tended to like him a little too quickly.
Onward to cleanliness, relieving of aching muscles, and food! He hobbled to the tub, using his quarterstaff as a walking stick, he was really looking forward to this..
