IceeWitch techpriest35 animefreak-01 techpriest35 ok some of those people such as nekko fire fox and summerbreeze i know which house they are in and some have already been deleted from the guild i have been keeping the slytherin on the right track but as a result there are very few left nekko fire fox is raven claw but summerbreeze was a slytherin but her account got banned from gaia cause some one haced it then stole other peoples items she made a new account after that but wanted nothing to do withte guild just wanted to let us know what happened im currently working on going through the house elves and banning or putting them on a list for sorting i also have an idea for an event might have to clear up old stuff and start classes again Ahh I see. It's just been driving me nuts when I see that just about everything hasn't been updated in like over a year. (Like for god's sakes, the common rooms are still called tents, even though the summer event is long over.) Can we at least let go the people who haven't made any posts at all? I highly doubt that they're going to come back. im currently working on it if you havent recieved the announce ment ehn it should be on its way right now im like the only mod on here from what i can see except yukina i hardly see any other modsthen why are they still mods?? I remember writing Adonis Rules of Order so that the guild can change hands smoothly when needed.... If mods haven't logged in in over a year, then they should be replaced with someone else. No one should get hard feelings about that because that's why everyone (mods) have access to Adonis. That's also why the password is changeable. I'm glad the guild is still alive though <3 Me and aunt slappy were just discussing this

Mothette x IceeWitch then why are they still mods?? I remember writing Adonis Rules of Order so that the guild can change hands smoothly when needed.... That's also why the password is changeable. I'm glad the guild is still alive though <3 From what I can tell, part of the problem is NOBODY has been very active for the last year or so. Almost everybody active right now is either a mod or very new (I am an obvious exception, but I only just came back) The guild died while we were gone, it's only just been resuscitated in the last few weeks. Well, correct me if I'm wrong somebody who's been here, I'm only going off what I've seen from the lack of posts and dates in threads. Actually, there's only two mods who are active, Aunt Slappy and techpriest35, lol. I'd say that about 95% of the active people are new. Aunt Slappy is right. It's just normal for this guild to go through a lull in activity before things kick up again.
But I also do agree with what Icee said. True, hardly anyone was very active this past year. However as mods, there is a responsibility to the guild, and it is an issue if they themselves aren't on that often because they aren't normal members. And for some of them, I would say it's not so much that they aren't in the guild, but that it seems like they haven't even been on Gaia in a while.

Exactly... the thing about mods, they were all created/promoted based off their activity, not their guild life. MLT became a mod after like a month; I became one after two; Lyra would've become one long before she did, but Alutian was always active <3 . Those are just examples off the top of my head. It's all about who wants to take the initiative and make things happen. One time it was me, then another time it was Junimaia, and after that it was vivacious_red

Just a quick question: I've been told I SHOULD be posting in Hufflepuff RPs and that I SHOULDN'T as well. Since the train is leaving Hogwarts, should I wait to post any Hufflepuff / First Year RP info until it's on the return trip to school? Apparently we get house points for posting on time and I don't want to lose those for being tardy.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but how can I check how long I've been in the guild? I checked by searching my username in the member's list but it only tells me when I last posted a comment. D:

D: Because you want to know i searched it for you and you have been a member for 2 weeks, since Oct 8th, the only way to know information like that is to PM any Head of House, I am Amelia Grey Head of Hufflepuff but i am also helping the Head Elf for awhile now with helping the house elves so if you have any questions PM me smile

So that means I can be sorted on the 29th, right? Will sorting be open then? D: Yes it will be!

How do you move up in years? Does it depend on the number of classes you take, or does it just go by term?
Also are classes open? xD For some of the threads I can't tell if they're closed or not.

Hello! Regarding to the sorting hat requirements, it states that you have to at least have 30 posts. Do these posts have to be on this guild only or can it come from forums? Is there a way to know how many posts you have made? Thanks! - Elizabeth the House Elf

Once you find it, it'll say how many posts you have in the guild forums. Happy posting. ^-^

I completely understand where you are coming from and I know what you mean. I know I am also responding like 2 years later. I honestly miss the old days it was amazing all the effort everyone put into the guild. As of right now (2015) techpriest35 and me are the only active mods. and hopefully that is soon to change. sometimes it is hard to get people to be mods when we don't know if they plan to actually remain active soon after. sweatdrop which makes the mod picking even harder.

It's really hard to find signs of activity here and I'm not sure where to go to post since most of the threads either haven't been activated in a long while or I'm not sure I can post in the since I'm still just a house elf.
Any suggestions?
