Sucess!
He watched as Kaede slowly wandered away. He looked down, his bright eyes watching the grass sway in the wind. Should he have acknowledged the girl? Her stuttering rather bothered him.
Of course it did. It was human nature to look down upon those that were different. He sighed, shrugging. From his psychology studies, these stuttering problems came generally from a low self-esteem.
It made sense. The girl seemed to be lower in the social ladder. He wondered if her father was a Jonin like his beloved old man. No-- she would've been raised better than that.
He shook his head, he was intrigued. He had met so many new peope today, he just wondered.
"Henge no Jutsu!", he proclaimed once more, his chakra working to create the illusion.
Suddenly there was a puff of the smoke as a biproduct as he felt his chakra transform, reflecting, changing. He smiled.
"Indicating by the outcome. It would seem this is a sucess....", managed the rather confident voice. This wasn't Saito's voice. But Rather-- how he would've imagined Minato to sound.
There was another puff of the smoke as the boy's eyes closed, the smoke slowly clearing. He was seen on his knees.

He imagined the picture he had in his mind, looking down. He couldn't believe he managed to get the skin-tone of the kage right. Good job Saito. You're proud you managed an elementary jutsu.
He huffed, his body was going numb. He was focusing on standing on will. It wasn't impossible. If it was one thing the boy prided himself was in that he was determined on becoming apathetic.
Thats one thing he felt disappointed in the girl.. She let her emotions control. How flawed. Ninja especially should atleast learn to control them; better if they simply abandoned them.
Yes. He wanted to become emotionless-- however he'd never forget the love his mother had entrusted to him to give to the village. She was proud to have been raised in history.
Thats enough of the mindless wandering... let's give it another try and not waste this chakra.

He imagined Minato once more in his head and his feet slowly slid, grinding against the ground as he positioned himself. Let's try another kage. He felt a bit inclined to try his new sensei.
The boy's back was hurting now too.
He groaned.
He couldn't wait to condition taijutsu. This was actually affecting his physical. Well-- of course it was. He sighed. He wondered what would happen during mission. Some of the greatest shinobi in history woud've died because they were simply tired.
Combat was so deep. Ninja were so versatile. If he was good at one thing, there would be another, his vice ready to lay him in their wake.
"Henge No Jutsu!", the boy managed, his voice raspy.
Gah, he released the chakra right as he felt a sheer pain going down his back. He wasn't able to ignore it as well. The boy coughed a bit, he could taste the blood on the roof of his mouth.
Hmm. He'd need to tend to that in a bit.

The boy fell to his knees. Great. Let's just waste chakra some more. He was so frustrated. Another failure.
He wanted to screa-- wait. No. Control this emotion. If he started losing his patience, what would become of him. He caught his breathing. He could do this. He coughed suddenly.
The boy calmed down.
He slowly brought his plams together, and blinked once. He stared at the pretty woman. "Please tell me about yourself. If it's too personal. Please, inform me. I'm not learned of your noble customs...", he stated in his weak, yet confident voice.
He looked away, pushing himself to his feet. He stumbled a bit, falling on his rear. This was expect. He turned, on his knees and again faltered to his feet.
He put his hands together, trying to find his balence. Again...

The boy looked around, his eyes searching on something to focus. Nothing would come though. He tried keeping Yokou's voice as something to keep him focused. He faltered, almost falling. His eyes blurred. He couldn't focus them.
He brought his palms together. He'd have a good rest tomorrow. He needed to graduate from academy as fast as possible. He was glad he didn't have to go to class. But he wondered if Zephyr's training would be any different than the curriculum expected.
Zephyr noted that it would be hell. He assumed it would be, he /hoped/ it would be. Saito needed strength, he didn't need to sit around and wait for the chuunin teacher to give theoretical lessons. Chuunin themselves hadn't seem everything.
Zephyr and Yokou. They were greater. They had absorbed so much knowledge. He wished he could just talk and listen to them.
"Henge No Jutsu!", he started before his voice became hollow and empty. He closed his eyes.
There was a puff of smoke. At this point he was so glad to hear that noise.. that biproduct filling his immediate area. He stared at his hands. Good, he did it alright again.

He would watch, as the Hyuuga princess stopped to look at him questioningly, for Zephyr usually called her by nickname. Unless it was something of serious nature, or some weight of great importance and he wanted or demanded her serious attention. One delicately shaped eyebrow of hers arched slightly, questioning, but she waited for her Sensei to speak.
There was a brief, uncomfortable silence. At length, he said: "I'll be right back. Will you watch over Saito, and help him with his Jutsus...?" He watched, as a flicker of hesitation crossed her eyes, perhaps surprising even to young Saito too of how politely he had addressed his own student. Yokou had earned her right to be addressed such as equals, after all.
"You shouldn't help them." She said, simply.
Her warning did not surprise him. After all, it was a fundamental requirement for all shinobi to eventually learn to lip-read at some point. And judging from that, she knew what Tairu has asked for, and, though Tairu was her own junior, she did not find the idea entertaining.
"Give them a break, Yuuko. The next Chuunin Exams are a way off, their potential for research and gathering information would not be fully developed this early."
"Yes...but some things must be done on their own strengths." There was a soft pause. "When one day, they come upon an enemy fortress, such conveniently opportunistic opportunities would not be reality." Her chin tilted up, slightly.
"Sensei." Urged Yokou. "Think this over, surely, they can manage."
"If you are so worried, come along then." He looked to Saito. "And you too, Saito-kun. You can practice Henge as we are heading along. I think you too would find the Senju library interesting."
And then, returning his attention to Yokou, he would reassure her: "I won't fight for them. You know better than that, Yokou."
Yokou held back on immediately agreeing.
"All right..." She said, at length. "I'll come." But then she looked at him in the eye.
"Let's go."

"Oh...", his lips parted as he managed subconsciously. His henge reverted to him once more. The smoke cleared and he was on his knees once more. The boy looked at his arms, they were shaking in fatigue.
He pushed himself up to a decent sitting position. Let's concentrate some and get some of that chakra back...
He hated this, this seemed rather redundant. Only if he wasn't blowing chakra left and right on wasted techniques. He laughed though, he was so low on chakra, he felt himself coming close to passing out every time he performed it.
It wasn't all for naught however. At least he could muster the chakra to perform it. He was also confident that if his body was rested well, he'd have a higher rate of performing it. It wouldn't be very efficient falling to his knees everytime he performed a jutsu for a mission; though it would be entertaining.
The boy sighed, he could feel his chakra returning. It was a good feeling, getting away from the pass-out point. He put his palms together. Just a few more times.
He imagined the scroll and analyzed it. Transforming five times was ample. He'd done it twice...
Almost there, boy.

The boy looked at his sensei, in more excitment than he'd ever looked at anything.
No. This must be a joke. His body was playing hallucentations on him.
"I-- I would love that!", he said in his innocent voice, though there was an apparant cheer in his tone. The boy looked at Yokou-- oh whatever. The woman never answered his questions anyhow. Plus-- Zephyr was his master. He had no idea the Senju realized his sheer love for knowledge.
Throwing Saito in a room of text was like throwing a photographer in nature. He would always grab scrolls that seemed interesting and memorize them in minutes, thinking back for a great read when he had time. The young Yakedo could not think of a better use for his photographic memory.
He heaved himself to follow his great teacher. "Henge No Jutsu!", he pleaded. Hopefully this provided the boost he needed. With the faintest of smirks, he walked.
Nope. Nothing, and he felt his chakra leave him. Yet another failure, but this wouldn't stop the boy... he was far too excited.

(( enter from academy ))
Aryza sprinted into the training ground gates with Kuroi in her arms. Once inside she stopped and leaned of her knees letting her wolf onto the ground. Her breath was heavy. After all she had just ran from the Academy all the way here. Yes she had runaway from Yarotai but she just couldn't stand training in a closed space anymore. She needed the fresh air and huge spaces. I wonder if Yarotai is going to be mad she thought to herself wondering if he would punish her when she returned. Maybe if Aryza returned with her training done he wouldn't. After all she what she was planning on doing her was what she was going to do there anyways.
Having recovered her breath and now with her pulse back to normal she slowly got up. Something was missing. Looking from left to right she glanced at the training grounds. What was it she was looking for? A black ball of fur. "When did Kuroi run off," she asked outloud to herself. What trouble was that mutt getting into now? It was mainly her fault. Never let a curious puppy loose in a place its never been to before. Sighing she started to run around the training ground hoping to spot Kuroi.
Oh whats going on Kuroi thought as him found himself no longer in Yarotai's lap but in his owners warm arms and running away from whatever that place had been. Had she done something bad? It didn't matter he was glad to be back out in the open. ........uh!......The human boy never gave me a treat. The thought hit him like lightning. He had been such a good little puppy too and he didn't get a treat. He wanted food. Aryza would give him some later though that was for sure.
Once his master put him down on the ground he instantly began to wonder off. He could always sniff her out later. Within no time he was out of her view and not only that but lost. This place was big especially for someone his size. Picking up his pace till he was basically running he wondered around even more. Only to get lost even more. Seeing something in the corner of his eye he turned his head to glance at it. Oooo..butterfly.... Then 'thud'! The little black cub ran into something, or more correctly someone.
(( guess who he ran into XP.............Taiju!! ))

Where the hell are those students? They should have been done with the Genin exams already. Were they just incompetent or did they decide to go do something else?
Taiju quit daydreaming in time to see what appeared to be a black fuzzy blob bounding towards him. The grass obstructed Taiju's view of what it was, but it couldn't be too dangerous based on its size. It was however coming right towards him.
THUD!
The black fuzzy blob ran into one of Taiju's legs and stumbled back a bit. He knelt down and realized that it was some sort of dog, or a very small wolf. Well there weren't any packs running around these parts so it was either a stray, or one of those dog handlers was running around.
"Well hello there." Taiju's voice was somewhat questioning, but at the same time, partially intimidating.
"It's alright, don't run off now. I have food for you if you want some. Just promise me you'll stay here alright?" Taiju pulled out a bit of jerky that he kept with him in case of emergencies. He offered it to the puppy in the palm of his outstretched hand.
How the hell did this thing get out here?

It took a while for Kuroi to recover from his dizziness. He glanced up at the human infront of him. He was a bit scary in a way and his voice intimidating but the black wolf didn't notice any of that. For one he didn't really care much for human behavior, two he was to small to really understand half of what went and around him. But those weren't his main reasons though. The cause for him not paying attention to this human was because he could smell something. And man did it smell good. ....Food!... Looks like he'd get a treat after all.
When Taiju stretched out his hand with the jerky in it the small wolf smelt it. He always smelled things first. And he was correct this was what he had smelt on the human. Wagging is tail he opened his mouth and snatched the jerky but at the same time bitting the human shinobi on accident. It wasn't that bad of a bit. There wasn't much damage a little cub like him could do.

The damm dog bit me!
Taiju immediatly used his other hand to lift the dog up by the back of its neck so it was five and a half feet off the ground. "Listen puppy, biting isn't something you're allowed to do. I could take you to the pound, but i have a feeling that your owner, if you have one, would be offended."
It really was a funny piece of fuzz. Too bad it made the mistake of biting him. At the very least the puppy couldn't attack him again the way he was holding it. Maybe he would put it in a tree until its owner came along? That might be a bit mean all things considered, but he didn't have much else to do with it at the moment.
Where the hell is this flea-bag's owner?

Kuroi whimpered noticing that the human was mad. Tilting his head down he noticed he was high off the ground. Slowly he looked up at Taiju. With a quick movement of his mouth he devoured what was left of the jerky. Now to get himself out of this situation. There was only one thing to do here, being cute! Using his puppy instincts he glanced up at Taiku with his big huge deep green eyes. His mouth was open and tongue sticking out as he wagged his tail adorably from side to side. From past experiences he had learned that being cute and adorable made it hard for humans to be mean to him. Hopefully it would work on Mister Giant.
