Ben seems to be struggling slightly with this statement. He listens very closely and does his best to replicate the sounds you made.Miss Aruker....sorry, I didn't mean to mispronounce it. Did I get Clever right? When he hears the mention of Aykon he nods but looks a bit dismayed.Oh dear...you just missed Aykon by a day. He was here yesterday but then went back to his homeland, he didn't say when he would return...is there something I can help you with? In some ways, Ben felt like he still lived in the shadow of Aykon, the man was a legend and he somehow felt he would never measure up.Hikaru *Hikaru shrugged and he looked around, as if to point out the major lack of people and the obvious lack of music.* I suppose so...sorry, I'll try to not talk to any of the costumers if that's what you want. Do you think Synge will be happy about that? Come on now man...I was just kidding...you sure are grouchy. Would Synge like THAT?

*Hikaru smiles as Ben struggles with her name, he found it amusing. He was annoyed with Ben but just ignored it for now. He maintained his calm composure and shrugged.*
Oh I don't know, I think Synge likes my grouchy side, she's gotten used to it with all the time we've spent together.

*Clever looked to Hikaru sympathetically. He was very nice to her and was sort of lectured for it. She returned her attention to Ben a little fustrated.*

*Again Clever pronounced it to the best of her ability. With a little more of a ha sound but it was still far from Harker.*
"And Clever is right."
*Upon hearing about Aykon's appearance the other day she looks sad. Her mother explicitly told her to find Aykon and give him a note. She studied Ben for a moment.*
"I guess I need a place to stay.. I was told this place was safe. "

*Keira returns from the outside and sees Hkaru, Clever, and Ben standing by the bar. She smiles seeing that Hikaru was still around. She looked at Ben a nit more closely and she makes the asumption that he seems to be doing better. Next her gaze falls on Clever. She still wondered who's daughter she was and if she new the mother.*

He turned back to Hikaru and bit his lip. He was in the right mind to really tell this guy off as Aykon had warned he might have to do from time to time but he kept at politeness, this was his love's best friend.
Okay man...you and her really ought to do some more things together, I hate to feel like I took her away from you.
He turned back to Clever when she spoke. He still didn't have the foggiest clue how what she had said was different than what he said but to keep from further complicating things, he stuck with the name he got right and feigned affirmation.
Right...I think I got it. So, Clever, I don't really know when Aykon will be back. I can keep the letter until then...or...if it was simply for the owner, I guess I would read it...it's your call. But yeah, this place is safe. You are welcome to stay as long as you want. Rooms run 50G per night or a week for 300. If you have a specific talent you could use, I can let you stay for free if you would use your talent here. What sounds best to you?

The way Ben was talking, it was obvious that something was different about him to Hikaru. Clever would simply notice that he seemed much more well spoken then when he first started talking to her. His face was genuinely helpful if a bit youthful still.
When Keira came back in, Ben turned and waved to her

*Hikaru smiled in Clever's direction. He noticed her sympathy and was grateful for it. He was fairly certain he understand her last name perfectly, but he didn't feel like helping Ben out and so he stayed silent as he struggled through the pronouncing.*
*Hikaru then heard Ben's words and he nodded a bit sadly, of course pretending.*
Yes, I do miss her...She has disappeared from my life and into your room I suppose.
*He listened as Ben told Clever the prices for a room and he felt a heat rising inside him. What a different these prices were from the original ones he was given! He almost glared openly but kept this to himself for no. He saw that Ben was talking clearly suddenly, and he seemed to have a bit more confidence than usual. He felt a sudden burst of a bad omen, but didn't know enough about Ben to know for sure. He knew he had to see Synge soon.*
*He saw Keira and smiled less enthusiastically as he usually would.*

*Clever watched the girl from last night come back in, and smiled to her. She felt a little out of place hearing Ben talk to Hikaru, and didn't quite know what to do with herself. But when Ben began to talk to her again, she became a little more reassured that she wasn't so out of place.*
"I will 'old on to the letter, I have to give it to 'im in person. And I don't really 'ave any useful skills. I can clean, my mother taught me how to be a medic or sorts. She used to work in the hospital here.."

*Keira listens to the conversation between the two men and frowns. She really hated hearing about SYnge this and SYnge that. She was jelous and there is nothing she could do to help that. She just sighs and smiles to them all*

Unless you want to keep up the place too. He turned back to Clever and nodded.Sure, but he might not be back for years...he has a whole other life now. But not for me to intrude. Cleaning, eh? Well...we do need someone to clean the place up. If you don't mind just keeping it cleaned...maybe dusting a bit and such, I will be glad to get you a room. But there's no hospital here anymore.

*Clever frets over Aykon's absence, her mother would be unhappy to hear he was no longer there. But she was never one to let that get her down.*

He takes the money in his hand and counts it quickly.Right, looks like enough for three weeks. So, first of the month you will be due again. Gotta pay for the upkeep...ya know? Thanks bud. He turns back over to Clever and nods.Sounds like a good attitude to me. Would you like to take a look around or would you like me to send you to a room outright? He waits patiently and then happens to note Keira was still silent. He shook his head lightly and returned to his other two customers.

*Keira notices no one needs anything and that they are off in their own conversations, so she just walks off, takes off her boots and heads upstairs to change. As she makes it to Synge's door, she quickly glances over to her old room and frowns.*
I wonder...
*Keira slowly makes her way to the room. Her hand reaches for the doorknob, but hesitates to open it. She takes a deep breath in and plunges forward. The 1st thing she noticed was that it was in fact cleaned. Keira's lip began to tremple as she walked a few steps inside. It was almost too painful for her to bare.*
