With his mental training out of the way he blinked his way back to reality. Batsu was off in the distance practicing with senbon, which he could hardly see flying through the air. Tenshi wasn't all too great at ranged fighting, then again, since he received his sword, he never really trained. He looked up at Shirome, "My suggestion, if you want it... hurt him. Sure it is 'unlady-like' and he'll get hurt, but he's a boy and your a ninja. Either that or threaten him. Either one should work well enough. He'll live. As for my squad, my jonin captain is Tsubaki-sensei who was newly promoted, Mizuiro Hoshigaki who is around here somewhere... and the other spot is open, though I think I may have met the boy who is going to fill it. His name is Byakuran, and I don't know much about him..."

That thought troubled him. He already was suspicious of the boy, and now he was going to be on his team. Though he had nothing to do with this attack, Tenshi still had a feeling something was up with him. He shrugged it off. Now was not the time to be worrying about it. A person revealed himself in a fight... Tenshi would observe then. "It seems like you are done learning the bunshin... What would you like to learn next?"

His chakra reserves were down and he needed to get them back up to par. The best way, was through meditation. He could refill his chakra and increase his chakra pool at the same time. It was a win-win situation and he was going to take advantage of it. He made a handseal, however he was distracted by the girl watching him. He could tell because he opened his eyes just slightly. She was thinking something...

Tenshi closed his eyes. Shirome would tell him if it was important. She always had a knack for speaking her mind, as she proved several times today. So he focused back on his meditation. He focused on the flow of chakra and manipulated it to his will. He opened up a few new chakra pathways. A shiver ran up his spine as he did so.

He loved the feeling of his chakra. Sure he could become cold, but it wasn't very often. With his chakra it gave him goosebumps across his body. It was somewhat addicting. He held onto the handseal and continued with his chakra flow. He opened new pathways in his arms. They would be perfect for his wind jutsus that he would be learning. Perhaps even some of the Fubuki clan techniques...

Meditation
The student makes a handseal in order to focus his mind on his chakra. He then meditates and focuses within himself in order to find new chakra pathways within his body that he may not have been aware of before. With patience and persistence, he can unlock these pathways.

Tenshi opened his eyes and stood up when she spoke. She didn't seem sure, but it was a good start for her. He couldn't remember the order he learned them. The days seemed to blend together. He made the proper handseals and his appearance changed. He decided to look like her, to show you could be practically anyone. "You simply let your chakra flow over you and shape it to the exact detail of the other person. Almost like the bunshin except on yourself," he said in her soft voice. A moment later he released the jutsu and became himself, "Kind of scary, huh?" He gave a smirk and sat back down, crossing his legs.

He closed his eyes and put himself back into a trance. He remembered in the academy when all he did was train. It was... exhausting, but he looked forward to the meditation. He decided to focus his chakra in one spot and fill it till he couldn't fit more chakra. He focused on his abdomen. To create a larger pool, he had to stretch the limits he currently had.

His chakra immediately ran out of his focal point. He had become discomforted and it got into his train of thought, ruining his homeostasis. Since the meditation was broken, he opened his eyes and stretched his muscles out. Sitting in one position for a long time was a difficult task, but he did enjoy it.

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy.

[PASS] After last try's faux pas, Batsu proceeded to try harder at aiming. His cockiness needed to take a backseat and actually aiming needed to be at the forefront. The boy stuck the senbon in his mouth and he spit the thing out towards the tree. It did as he hoped it would. The thing hit the tree lightly and the tip stuck out into the tree. Now that he knew he could do it, the next step was to work on the speed and trajectory of the senbon.

[FAIL]Batsu went over to the tree and tried to look at the tree itself. He wanted to try and hit the same spot over and over again but that would be harder than ever. But there was nothing wrong with a bit of a challenge. The boy marked a spot on a tree with an X using the same senbon he had been using all along. But the mark was ridiculously hard to see so he had to come up with another plan for this training.

[FAIL] Yeah, so there were that many options for the young shinobi in order to train. He had bandages but that was only to be used for medical purposes. The only other thing was to use his kunai and go to the tree and mark it. That's exactly what he did too. Batsu grabbed his kunai out of his pouch again and marked an x on the tree. After looking at it though he knew something was off.

[FAIL] An x wouldn't do it for this training. Batsu needed to make a bullseye shaped mark in order to know what to do and what not to do.. With kunai still in hand, Batsu carved an outer ring, a middle ring, then a very small inner ring. That was his goal. Batsu wanted to be as accurate as possible with this jutsu. So he decided that any senbon that hit outside the bullseye would be considered a failure.

[PASS] With that in mind, Batsu went to his spot and faced the makeshift bullseye. He thought about his goal long and hard before putting it into acton. The goal was to start out slow then gradually progress as he felt more comfortable. That way, he could pinpoint what he was doing right and what he was messing up on. This was to be his first offensive jutsu, so he wanted to make sure it counted and was done well.

[PASS] [With that in mind, Batsu took a slow but deep breath and stuck the senbon in his mouth. The boy then exhaled and shot the needle out of his mouth. The thing went through the air and ended up hitting the bullseye in the inner ring. It wasn't dead center but it was fairly close. That was good enough for him since he was just starting to focus on aim Of course he'd get better with time.

[PASS] Batsu ran up to get a better view of his shot and pick up the senbon for another go. The senbon actually turned out to be close to dead center, but slightly off center by a centimeter or so. Meh, it was pretty good but he couldn't marvel at the thing for too long. He still had a ways to go in order to finish the jutsu so he grabbed the senbon and went back to his spot. He wanted to hurry up and finish before the exams came.

[PASS] The boy plucked the senbon out and damn near ran back to the starting spot. The boy put the senbon back in his mouth and turned around. He spit the senbon out and it ended up hitting the exact same spot. This was fine, but he really wanted to hit the center of the target. He sighed but didn't start to complain. After all, he did hit the middle ring so he was okay. He just hoped that he'd get it together before it was too late.

[PASS] Well, at least Batsu was learning something about this technique. The more skilled the boy was in ninjutsu the better his chances of getting the shot off. Sadly for him, he wasn't the ninjutsu type. Nevertheless, he continued to train. The exams were coming up and the last thing he wanted was to be knocked out the first round or so. Not only would it make him look bad but it would shame the family name. That was something else he didn't want.

[FAIL] The boy started to dwell on how things would possibly go if he ended up shaming his family. His mother would be okay, but his dad would feel some type of way. Out of all the children, three of them made it to the quarterfinals, one made it to the semi-finals and the eldest made it all the way but lost.It was quite a feat but it also set the bar quite high for everyone else... a bar that Batsu wasn't sure he'd reach or even come close.

[FAIL] Tears went from filling up the boy's eyes to trickling down his face. He actually hated to cry but he couldn't help himself. The boy was overly-sensitive and it was quite pathetic. Ninjas weren't supposed to be like this and he knew it. Hell,, it was taught to him in the academy and he was the first to graduate in his class. He knew he had to stop and finish the training before someone saw him or he'd get into a full on crying spell.
