You're welcome! heart I think they've been promoting it as a "Original Motion Picture"; but maybe there is a original-original out there? O_O

heart xd

I think you were right the first time. It was in outer space and a re-release, I believe. It was a cartoon with a space station and lots of Green Lanterns in it. They did mention the movie coming but went back to the time of when America was experimenting with traveling to space and beyond. Saying it was their inspiration for the movie.

so was gijoe worth watching? After the disappointment of Transformers 2, I'm really skeptical about these films.

I've heard mixed things and have yet to read the reviews.

From what I've heard, it's exactly what you'd expect: an action heavy SFX vehicle with a paper-thin plot. I might look into it eventually, if only for Ray Park as Snake Eyes. Olivia Wilde as the Baroness and Vinnie Jones as Destro certainly would've pulled me in on opening day, though. xp

Just saw District 9 last night, it is awesome. It was crazy, because I though the movie was going to be like Cloverfeild (first Person Perspective)But that was mainly in the first 20 min. then it switches over to a story between one Prawn (the aliens) and this guy who was head of this program.

Still, it was a really good film.

When I went to see Ponyo the other day. I saw a trailer for this movie Fantastic Mr. Fox
I never read the books, but you really got to give props to the makers using classic stop animation on it.

It look pretty good.

So...last night around midnight, I'm channel surfing via my Directtv guide...when I come across The Order of the Black Eagle. The name sounded intriguing so I check the summary. This is exactly what it said:

Quote:
A secret agent (Ian Hunter) and his rude baboon attempt to foil a madman's (William T. Hicks) to resurrect Adolf Hitler.

I blinked. Was I imagining things? Surely it did not say what I just read. I MUST SEE THIS! I turned it on and was treated to the most horrible and unintentionally hilarious movies ever.

The blood was pasta sauce, almost everyone referred to the secret agent by his full name all the time(Duncan Jax), he carried 4 Bond movies worth of gadgets in a belt, the secret agent distracted some bad guys by pretending to be gay, and the baboon....oh God....the baboon did the bras d'honneur
constantly and IT DROVE A MINI-BABOON TANK AND BLEW UP NAZIS!!!!!

If any movie deserved to be MST3Ked...it was this...

The trailer for Order of the Black Eagle.

Complete with baboon and bad guy who is a Perry Mason lookalike. Also, when they show cryogenically frozen Hitler....he looks like he's made out of cake. FASCISM NEVER TASTED SO YUMMY!!! scream

Brian kept turning to me and saying "are we high? Are we asleep"

This movie was hilarious. They had a huge plastic "uber scary" temple. When they were "underground" all the walls were made of fake bricks that reminded me of those paper fireplaces you used to see around Christmas years ago. Hitler looked like a hitler cake and for some reason, his skull pops out of his head. The chick looked like she walked out of an 80's music video.

At the end, his heroic exit was.. on a hot hair balloon.

Oh and the Nazi's.. groups of Nazi's would run at the "good guys" and just lunge at them. Not one of them had a gun or long range weapon. The good guys would use a rocket launcher just to take out one lone Nazi too. I wish I would have seen the beginning of this movie.

Gee, your hilter movie sounds more amusing than the one that's playing upstairs..

My parents discription, "Oh it's a movie about how someone was going to kill Hilter."

My reply "Oh ok, I take it they fail, horribly."

Dad, "Yep"

Me "And they *Bleep* *Bleep*?"

"yes"

Me "Sweet, now i don't have to watch Tom Cruise with an eyepatch. Thanks!"

I'm ******** sold. Watching terrible, campy B-movies is something of a hobby of mine. I mean, christ, I cosplayed as the main character from The Man With The Screaming Brain (a movie where Bruce Campbell plays a rich CEO who, due to a botched transfusion, shares a brain with a Romanian cabbie and they must track down the gypsy who was responsible for their situation. Also, his wife becomes a robot.) for the first Cosplay Days.
