Inside one of the top floors of a middle class apartment complex, a man sat staring out the window. There was an anxious, almost angry look to his eyes, and the table beside him was littered with glass bottles. The smell of alcohol permeated the corner he’d been sitting in for days now. He’d been sitting here staring out the window, drowning his frustration in alcohol even before that fiasco with Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus.
He honestly had no idea why the Not-So-Good Doctor attacked him, and even less why he claimed to be Miles Warren when Spider-Man questioned him. It was the only thing he could think of. It was the only ONE he could think of. To be honest, the only other thing he wanted to do in that moment was have his shotgun with him.

After a moment, there was a knock at his door. His mind spun back to reality and he whirled his head towards the door. He stared at it a moment, just to see if the knock would come again. To make sure that he had actually heard it. It did. So he stood from his chair and mindlessly walked towards the door and opened it.

Standing in front of him was an older man with gray hair and a pudgy face, wearing dark sunglasses and a light brown coat. At first glance, he seemed like an average man, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. But, Stan knew better. He knew this man. And he knew him.
“…Doctor Warren.” Carter said quietly as he stared at his guest.

“Stan Carter.” the man greeted with a smile. ”It seems you’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch lately. I’ve come to check up on you to make sure you’re doing alright.”

Stan just stood there and stared at the man almost dumbly. There was a small look on his face as though he knew that he was in trouble.

Warren’s smile grew a bit. “Well…may I come in?”

“Uh…no. No, actually, I…um...” Stan replied, seeming to snap out of it. “I’m trying to clean up the apartment a bit. It’s kind of…kind of…”

“The way your home looks is not my concern, mister Carter. I’m here to see you. And you don’t have to make excuses about anything. I can smell the alcohol on you. It’s one of the reason’s I came to see you.”

“….one of the reason’s?”

Miles grinned. “May I come in?”

Stan hesitated for a moment, then sighed deeply and stepped aside. “Yeah, come on in Doctor.”

"Turns out this world isn't without its heroes..."

The Commissar activated one of the wrist panels on his person, causing him to slowly drift into nothing. Standard teleporter for dire situations. Omega Red was an unfortunate loss, but at the same time, a delightful one. Omega Red's mutation would not be left to waste of course and his code could be in a way used to create something unique; the Commissar had uses for everything, even the deceased. The activation of the emergency teleporting system was a one in a million chance however. Teleportation was risky for organic matter, something the Commissar was ten percent of, the rest being robotic or in-organic, and the reason why it was too risky to acquire Omega Red's remains and use the teleporting system.

The Commissar teleported to Omega Red's remains, shaking his head in disappointment. Such a waste, but his death would not be in vain. With Doomsday's core material in the lab and the corpse -if it could be called such- of Omega Red, perhaps something new could blossom. The trench coat the Commissar wore suddenly wrecked at the back, several arm tubes equipped with syringes delve forth into the pile of Omega Red matter and began extracting. The Commissar would make this quick and when he got back to base; he’d give the Crimson Dynamo more command of the Eastern Bloc forces. This control business was taking too much time away from research and it took Omega Red to remind the Commissar that. The syringes were starting to fill with a red paste that had a silver tint to it. There were six tube arms in total. The Commissar just had to hope he could extract enough and then leave; things were getting far too dicey with S.H.I.E.L.D. involved now.

//Nice move, Minron. mrgreen Also, some of your troopers got showered in gore from Omega Red. I don't know if that would trigger anything.//

Skuld glanced down the street and saw S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel advancing and made a face, "Hmmm... Losing Flynn...," turning back to Victor, "Should we leave New York until this blows over..... Like now?"

ENTER Steel Spider and Alex from SANCTUM SANCTORUM

The two women walked out of the disguised building and made their way down the street with a bit of an awkward tension that has hard for either of them to ignore. But, they were going to try it. They had at least some kind of common ground to concentrate on.

Both wanted to get out of the house.
Both wanted to do something constructive.
Both wanted to get things straightened out.
And...both wanted to find someone who simply vanished.

"So." Steel said, unable to think of any other word to break the silence. "How do we go about this? You have more experience with this sort of thing."

"Well..."
Alex replied. "We could try to be incognito and find out what we can in street wear. Or we could through together some form of a costume and if absolutely nothing else keep thugs in check until...everyone gets back."

"Can we head towards where we were before?." Steel asked, her artificial voice uneasy. "I mean...it's the last place I seen Flash. And from what I gather it was the last place you seen your friend."

Alex became quiet a moment. Right, Batman. She'd left to find Sapphire while he played with that communicator. When she came back, he was gone. But...they said that he was one of the few that did come back, right? So...he had to be around somewhere. Maybe if she tried to find that hide-out she'd been to a few times. But...she wasn't sure she'd be able to get in. Let alone with this robot tagging along. "I suppose that would be as good a place as any." she replied finally

"Do you remember the way?" Steel asked as she followed Alex down the street.

"Not...entirely." she admitted. "There are so many different areas now. Heck, I don't recognize half of New York and its supposed to be where I'm from. I think the place we were at was called Metropolis or something like that. A cab or bus should know where to go." she said, then paused a moment. "Oh...but I'm not sure I have the money for a cab. We probably should have gotten someone else to come along."

"Would it help to ask for directions?" She had no idea what a 'bus' or 'taxi' were, but she didn't feel the need to ask about it. Flash could fill her in when they found him.

"It could..."she began with a sigh. "But we'd still have to travel across a city or two by foot probably."

Steel blinked at her. "And that's...bad?" she asked.

Alex made a face and turned to look back at her. The look on the robot's face said she was serious and not trying to make a smart comment. Alex sighed and turned away for a moment. "Right....Well, Flash could probably circle this entire place in less than a minute. You could probably walk for days without needing to stop. I however, can't. I'm sick and tired of walking back and forth from city to city looking for places I have no idea where they are. So...yeah. Walking all the way to a whole nother city is bad for me if I have the option of riding." she said, then looked around again for a moment.

That's when she noticed a taxi pull up to a movie theater across the road from them. "How about this, we ride as far as we can, then see if the cab can give us directions from there. Could probably even scale a building to find the city if we get close enough. I remember what one of sky scrapers looked like."
That big gold, daily globe or whatever it was called was a little hard to forget. Kinda flashy.

Steel followed her as she hurried across the street, but her focus was curiously on the yellow vehicle. "Alright, I'll...follow your lead." she replied.

"Alright." Alex said as they finally got to the taxi. Luckily before anyone else came and snatched it. Usually that's all that happened to her. Lucky break this time.

Steel watched Alex bend down and crawl into the back of the car. She blinked and tried to mimic what Alex had done, sliding herself in beside her. Honestly, she'd never seen a car before, let alone ride in one. She'd simply have to try and do whatever Alex did since Steel had no idea what she was doing. And, though they were on a friendly level right now, she didn't really want to be friends with Alex. So she was refraining from asking questions about anything.
...besides. She looked human enough, she'd look rather stupid if she had to ask about basic things that were used without thought. Fun explaining that one.... Oh, yes. I'm actually a robot based off of a super hero that was programed to kill other heroes. I've spent my entire life inside Murder World and I'm experiencing real life for the first time. Oh, and the girl I'm with is the one I was programmed to kill, but the roles were nearly reversed when we met. But don't worry, I'm trying to be a good girl and ignore many of those little urges that make me want to rip the vital organs out of her body. Oh, and...

"Close the door." Alex said, snapping her thoughts back to reality.
"Um, gently...close the door." she added as an after thought.

Steel blinked. Oops. "Oh...alright." she replied.

(Enter Suppai from S.T.A.R. Labs)

After a few hours of flying Suppai finally landed in the middle of New York City. She looked around and the first human that started giving her sh*t about being a mutant she snapped her finders at them and they fell over, dead.

She laughed at the person on the ground as panic insued around her.

'Ever hero and his brother is here at one point or another, I'm sure I'll find one of my targets here.' She thought as she reached out to a speaker system and started Ke$ha's ''Take it off'' just for her amusement.

Suppai was dancing around, taking the lives of the innocent, panicked people as she did so.

(Enter Kesshou from Gotham)

It was the end of the song when Kesshou landed by her evil "twin". Both of them stared at each other for a few minutes before Suppai smirked. "So, it seems that there is now more than one of me, how interesting. So who are your targets?"

Kesshou shook her head. "I'm not here to kill anyone, I'm here to stop you! You're hurting people, you evil...." She was so upset that she could even think to do such a thing, this 'other Kesshou' smelled just like her, stood just like her and even had the same accent as her, but she was sent here for evil purposes. "...evil b***h!"

Kesshou wasn't known for cussing more than a 'damn it' or a 's**t' once in a while.

Suppai's smirk just got wider when her 'good side' cussed. "So if you're here to stop me from my goal then I must destroy you, not a hard task."

Suppai snapped her fingers at Kesshou, attempting to turn off her electrical impulses but it didn't work. "This is going to be harder than I thought.

Suppai pointed back at the speaker and a new song came over the system, "Chrome" by VnV Nation.

The two Catgirls stared each other down Suppai started to sing, acting smug.

"A million faces, each a million lies
for each and all a chrome disguise."

She changed some small details so that she could look exactly like Kesshou, to make it more difficult on anyone else that decided to interrupt the fight and attacked the her good side.

Kesshou picked up the next few lines, almost screaming at her advisary.

"Prompts for action, force reaction
embody promise in a sheen so pure."

Kesshou shot towards Suppai with rage as none of her friends had ever seen, the sparks that flew from them ramming into one another could make one think of Dragon Ball Z.

"Hurt, the measure of blind ambition,
the testament to your singular disease.
Against all wisdom you heed no warning,
your desires giving you away."

They bounced off of each other a few times before they stopped to catch their breaths, Both singing the main chorus.

"If I could change your mind,
I wouldn't save you from the path you wander.
In desperation dreams, any soul can set you free.
And I still hear you scream,.."

Kesshou started to try and siphon off some of the electricity from Suppai and the evil one just smiled, for it was a fruitless effort.

"...in every breath, in every single motion.
Burning innocence, the fire to set you free."

Suppai flew to Kesshou and, breaking through her force field, punched her in the gut, knocking her breath out.

"Your actions turn conquest to dust.
In portents of fate, you foolishly place trust.
Sense fear in your broken breathing."

Kesshou caught her breath and ripped a light post out of the ground, swatting Suppai with it, now being the one to sing.

"Resort to shadows till your body expires.
All creation has the promise of heaven,
and still you travel the road to hell."

She Swung again as Suppai came back at her but evil dodged and flew into the light of the sun.

"I'm saying nothing for the good of myself,
but I'm still talking and you're not listening."

Suppai came back into view as she dive bombed Kesshou right through the street and into the sewer, sparks shooting from the hole in the ground and several man holes around there, both of their electricity being let out by the water as they continued to sing, for nothing else but to show each other that they were strong enough to keep going.

"If I could change your mind,
I wouldn't save you from the path you wander.
In desperation dreams, any soul can set you free.
And I still hear you scream,
in every breath, in every single motion.
Burning innocence, the fire to set you free."

Kesshou finally grabbed the upper hand, throwing Suppai back up, through another part of the street and flew up after her. She spread her large wings as she landed, trying to make herself look bigger than she really was. Suppai wiped the blood off her chin as she stayed quiet for now, trying to get her ground back.

"As night descends upon the city,
the streets are cold, the lights go by.
And in the stories of the people,
a million faces, a million lies."

Kesshou grabbed electricity from the wires in the ground and shot it through Suppai, electrifying her and making her drop her illusion. Kesshou was only successful because Suppai was wet from thier mini excursion in the sewers. Suppai shook it off quickly though and as Kesshou was stunned she picked the song back up.

"They'll never say they feel what you feel,
that they can see the world you see.
And in their faces, their expressions,
a million faces, a million lies."

Suppai wiped some more blood from her jawline as she song ended.

((Wee!! I had fun typing this one out hope you all enjoy it, cause Kesshou's at a stale mate. AND PLEASE READ IT THOROUGHLY!! Through most of this there are few people that can tell which catgirl is which, Even life form detection wouldn't help too much because they are the same person, just from neighboring Earths.))

Xane leaned against a wall in an alley smoking a cigarette. He looked at the passing cars go by blankly. The night was so dull and he really didn't feel like doing anything which didn't help with the dullness.Suddenly he heard the sirens of a nearby cop car speeding up the street. It was a good thing that the moon was covered by some dark clouds so he could hid in the shadows as the cop cars passed by.He let out a deep sigh and sunk into the shadows of the building he was leaning against and appeared on the top of the roof.He walked over to the edge of the roof and looked at the streets, shops, and people down below. They all looked like small ants running around franticly like the world was going to end in a few minutes. The clouds that were covering the moon had moved and now the luminous light was shining upon his face."I need to get out of this town.I've been here for far to long."He said in a monotone way.

ENTER from Surrounding Areas of NYC

Atop of a large building that was well out of reach of the line of fire, a small group drifted into being. A small group of girls sat comfortably on the edge of the building, looking off into the distance at the "show" going on below, and two older women standing with their arms crossed and their attention elsewhere.

They'd seen this sort of thing before. It was the younger girls who needed the "experience". Or at least to observe and then discuss what would be the best course of action if they were to actually be involved in such a situation.

One of the silver haired girls tisked and shook her head. "So wrecklace. Such clumsy creatures."

"Just watch." the dark haired woman sighed.

Xane looked over to see a group of girls sitting on a roof a couple of buildings over.He was thinking about appearing over by them and just saying hi but he couldn't do that.He walked a little closer towards the edge of the roof closer to them.He thought to himself that he should watch them for a while and see what they would do.Maybe they were the same as him lonely with no one but themselves and their world. He disappeared into the shadows and got to a roof a little bit closer to them.
