"I'm a bounty hunter technically... I'm known as Catgirl." She obviously got a few fashion points from Batman, even though she didn't actually work with him.

"I don' like giving out my name cause I don' want villains winding up with it. Get what I'm sayin'?" Her Cajun accent came out a bit. She was in so much pain it was hard to keep her voice straight.

The entered the orphanage and Crystal let Antigua help her to the office when Dr Leslie was sitting.

((I'm gonna use her as a NPC for a minute))

She looked up, noticing that people had walked in then dropped her paper work. "Not again." She jumped up and rushed over to Crystal, taking the girl from Antigua. "Thank you for helping my friend here. I'll take care of her now." Leslie reassured her.

"I get exactly whatcha mean. Most people 'round here wouldn't just fork someting like dat over." Antigua said as they came up to the office and saw Dr. Leslie take over.

"It was no trouble, doc. A friend tol' me to get her here on de double." the said as she left and got back to her cab, driving off as she reset the meeter and cranked Peter Tosh's Reggae sound through the air.

Meanwhile, Arell lit another smoke, and stayed under a streetlamp as Antigua's cab came to a halt in front of the Cajun.

"She goan' be alright?" the Cajun asked as he slid into the cab.

"She be in good hands now, mon. Where to?" Antigua asked.

"It looks like a Beer and oysters day. How 'bout the pier?" the Cajun replied.

"Peirside Joe's it is, mon." she said and floored it, the car lurching ahead.

As both the police and the firefighters showed up, most of the goons were unconscious out of reach of the smoldering flames. While there was no sign of the Ghost, Chris Brooks was also missing from the scene.

((Actually it's morning right now... Daybreak happened right as the fight with Ghost started, before you got there to help.))

Crystal got checked over by the Doctor and was given some medicine and rest instructions. "I know you're not going to listen when I tell you to rest, but you need to. A concussion is a very bad thing." Leslie spoke as she cleaned out the wound on the back of her head. the flesh was burnt and melted so she had to cut some of it away before it rotted.

Dr. Leslie then stitched the back of her head up. She was experienced with people that didn't want her work showing so she didn't have to shave Crystal's head when she did.

Crystal heaved a sigh and took the first of her meds right when they were handed to her. "I know it is but I have to find Gator." Crystal's name for Arell till she found out his real one.

"Fine. If you have to be up and about just don't push yourself too hard... And for god's sake please don't get another hit on the head for the next few days. I'd hate to see you in a coma." The doctor obviously cared about Crystal as she did with Bruce and the others that end up following in Batman's steps.

Crystal was patched up and feeling good enough to walk within a few hours. At that point she scurried out the door. "Thanks Doc. I'll see you later."

"Just be careful." Leslie got back to work.

((No longer using Dr. Leslie as an NPC))

The cab pulled up to this old dive bar across town. Arell paid his fare as he stepped out from the cab.

"'Ey, cowboy, remember dat girl you put in my cab earlier?" Antigua asked as she counted the five dollar bills into the machine.

"Yeah . . . prob'ly bet she doan' wanna see my face again." the Cajun said, pulling a smoke from his shirt pocket.

"She wants t' know ya name, mon. You never know 'bout da women, stranger." the Jamaican replied.

"It's Arell." The Cajun said "Thanks for the ride, Antigua."

"How'd you know my name?" she asked, surprised.

"Seemed t' fit." the Cajun replied, closing the door as the cab sped off and entered the bar.

((That's it for Antigua for a while.))

((Probably good, maybe Crystal can find the bar, too. Arell has a high booze tolerance, so he'll probably still be sober by the time she shows up.))

Arell walked into the bar, it was a backwater dive bar with all the necessities of life. Raw Oysters, Cold Beer, and Loud music. A lot of shady characters and misplaced Southerners like Arell somehow wound up here. He immediately went up to the bar and ordered a cold Pabst Blue-ribbon and an order of oysters. It was a lot to think about . . . the fire, Crystal accusing him and all, but he didn't care.

A couple of guys look up from the pool table, eyeballing Arell and talking low to each other.

A few were at the bar, watching the current football game and drinking their drinks.

The bartender was cleaning a glass.

Arell slung his leather jacket on the rack and got up on one of the bar stools. The Jukebox was playing an old Warren Zevon tune about Lawyers, Guns and Money as he took out a smoke from his shirt pocket, fumbling in his pockets, the Cajun looked over at the guys from the pool table.

"Any a' y'all got a light over there? Need some nicotine." the Cajun said, his low Cajun growl cut through the room.

The bartender held a lit lighter out to the Cajun. "You new around here son?" He asked.

The two at the pool table just continued their game, keeping an eye on the new comer as they did.

Arell lit the cigarette and took in the smoke. "One could say dat, mac. Dis place ain't too much like Thibodeaux or N'awlins." the Cajun said, smirking as he blew a smoke ring. "Thanks fer de light-up by de way."

"Well what can I do you for?" He started cleaning another glass.

"Just need a li'l oysters and beer. Got a lot t' think about." the Cajun replied, taking another long drag on his cigarette. He couldn't get his mind off Crystal . . . the mystery girl who to him all but walked out of his life when she accused him of the fire . . . at least she's safe at that orphanage the Cajun thought.

-Other side of the city-

Crystal walked out the orphanage and pressed a button on her watch. A few minutes later her motorcycle came speeding from around the corner.

She got on and drove off to the last place she saw Gator.

Once arriving there she stopped and started sniffing around, trying to catch his scent.

She found it and then it led to the smell of Antigua's cab.

-At the bar-

The bartender nodded. "You want them raw or fried sir? Also, what brand of beer you want?"

Arell perked up at the Bartender's question. "I like de oysters raw, and a Pabst Blue Ribbon to drink . . . something cool, y'know?" the Cajun said as Jerry Lee started burning up through the Jukebox.

Meanwhile, down the road, Antigua stopped at a gas station to fill up her Chevy. For a second-or-third hand car, it was still pretty good at the pump.
