Layna stood up on the branch and jumped down, landing on the muddy ground. She pulled her barefeet up out of the dirt and slipped slightly as she began to walk up to the sidewalk. People were already running for cover from the thunderstorm. The rumbles of thunder echoed loudly between the empty trees. Lightning flashed, illuminating everything before plunging it back into darkness. She blinked and sat silently on a bench. She was already soaked through by the rain, but she wouldn't catch a cold. She never did.

She sighed slightly as the rain finally halted. Her placid eyes stared upward at the cloud. Only a murky whiteness was coming through them. At least she had control again. She looked down at her muddy clothes and her bare feet. "So much for staying clean...." She muttered.

Tianna parked her motorcycle carefully, in between the swings and the slide, jumping the curb to get there. Tianna pulled the key out of the ignition and kicked the kickstand down. "Wow. I havent' gotten that thing up to 390 swerving like that in years." She said, sticking the key carefully in one of her inside pockets.

She raised her head to look behind her. "Hey Tianna..." She muttered, waving slightly. She still felt drained from her changing back and forth between forms.

Tianna smiled and said, "I've got great news. But you gotta guess. And think about it." She smiled and rubbed her stomach.

She tilted her and nearly fell off the bench. "Nani?!" She looked back and this time did fall off. "Baby?!"

Niraj staggered off the motorcycle and said shaking his head."You are the most awesome pregnant woman I've ever met."He smiled when he no longer felt like he was standing sideway's in the air.He went over to her and asked."C-can we go sit down for a while?I'm still a bit dizzy."

"Yep I'm gonna be a mom. And I only have two months to go. I uh.. Didn't realize the simptoms until yesterday and I'm already seven months in." Tianna said, looking down at her flat stomach. "I didn't realize because my lycan metabolism kept me from gaining any weight."

She got up and squealed happily. "Then can I tell you my good news. And no, it's not a baby." She said, tilting her head and smiling ecstatically.

"Ok what is it?" Tianna asked with a smile on her face. The effects of knowing she was gonna be a mom were kicking in. "And yes Niraj we can sit down." Tianna said, sitting on a nearby bench.

"You can't hate me though, it maybe wasn't the wisest choice for a Lycan to choose, but I did." She said, slightly worried at what the reaction would be. She raised her hand and let the ring glisten in the pale light.

"I am marrying a vampire. Zarathos asked me to marry him." She said softly, ready for the worst reaction. Lycans were known to go against traitors of their kind, and she was breaking a large taboo.

Niraj sat down beside her and seeing the ring exclaimed."Your getting married!?That's great!"He hugged her."Congratulations."His brain then caught up with him on the vampire part and said."Oh..."He looked at tianna nervously and said comfortingly."So what.We're against the tainted now,not the vampires.You have nothing to worry about."
