It's what's known as demon healing. The healer, me in this case, removes any traces of an injury or tierdness onto themselves.

::Appearing in the shadows Matsuo watches the girl and Kogashi talk. She takes a drag of her cig and heads off into the kitchen, she grabs a packet of blood and begins to drink it. She returns to the main room and heads over to the piano and sits on the bench thinking of what to play::
