What I REALLY want is to serve Thanksgiving dinner at my place. I want to do the cooking and the prep, and have family come over. Somehow that never manages to happen. The SO and I always wind up going and seeing a dozen other people and having them in charge of the cooking. And Thanksgiving is OUR anniversary, so you'd think that at least one time in eight years, we could do it OUR way. But no. Thus far, every single year we've been at the SO's family's places for Thanksgiving, and I'm bloody tired of it, to tell you the truth.
