My all state audition was yesterday, and I totally dominated that Mozart piece.

I play the flute.
But all people have to do in the little 7 of us flutes is
hear me and two of the other 6 hate me just becasue i play better.
I never even said a word to them and one of them tried to slap me and she said "Stop showing off b***h."
And i was like "What the living ******** I enjoy playing flute.

I'm one of those people that have that special talent of being able to pick up an instrument and learn it fast. That is what I did with the flute and now I'm a freshman flute in the wind ensemble class in my high school. Let me tell you it is hard to make that class.

Tyrentvega I'm one of those people that have that special talent of being able to pick up an instrument and learn it fast. That is what I did with the flute and now I'm a freshman flute in the wind ensemble class in my high school. Let me tell you it is hard to make that class. the part about picking up fast. ME TOO. Thats why they hate me so.

OOOO its time for the honor band auditions!! The piece i can probably learn and scales are no prob but Im gonna bomb the sight reading!!! Any advice on sight reading?

so my goal was to stay 2nd flute during our chair audition (you get placed in a chair depending on how good you are) so i purpousfully messed up and i did well ^^ too well if you ask me..i got stuck in 6th (last) chair now i have to "challenge" the others to get the chair i wanted back ><

Hey you guys! I want to say good luck to those who are doing competition as of right now, or auditions for anything else. I also want to say that with out the flute, the band would sound STUPID. We are the smart ones. smile
