No one told me we had a mascot. The fact he can actually play the game makes the need for him to be the mascot even more so.

Well that would require a webcam, besides, if you have Black or White you can view recorded battles that way, so long as someone saves a replay of the battle and gives you the code.
Besides, my kid? Beat me? Preposterous! I created him and I can destroy him if I so wish! ...maybe.
