Mercury grinned back briefly. "You're welcome, though I may actually miss the badgering. Sometimes even I can't ignore that my stomach is screaming at me for sustenance. Not to mention Wolf and Hawk made me promise to keep the bond open more often now, and I can't let whatever may be bothering me affect them. That one promise has so many repercussions..."

: Azalea rolled her eyes, "And you wonder why I don't want a warder! They would always be in my way and trying to take care of me." She shivered at the thought of developing attatchments to humans...Other than Mercury of course, but Merc was a low-maintenance friend. Besides the occasional force-feeding or rescue work, they were able to just enjoy each other's company without having to talk about feelings, or Azalea's lack-there-of. :

Mairyela al'Caira walked through the crowds of Tar Valon, walking towards the oh-so beautiful wonder that was the White Tower. She had done this often since being raised to the shawl of the blue Ajah. She enjoyed walking with the people, and there was no better place than the Tar Valon markets to pick up information from travelers. Today, though, it had been different. At first it had been the whiff of a new scent, an evil smell she couldn't place. Being a wolf sister had it's advantages. Soon a pair of eyes had been felt, though with the crowds, she couldn't pick up on their location. They had eventually left and she had pushed it to the back of her mind. Now breaking through the crowd in the growing darkness, they returned. Stopping, Mairyela turned, her black hair whipping about her like ribbon. Her gold eyes flashed as a sudden movement to her left. An arrow flew towards her head; it's shaft was darker than pitch. Embracing saidar, she weaved a flow of air and snapped it like a whip, breaking the arrow in two. The halves flew harmlessly by her face, clacking as they hit the stone road. The scent was back; vile as rotting flesh. Her eyes sharpened, scouring the area in which the arrow had come. The attacker was nowhere to be seen.

((I didn't think anybody was gonna reply. I stopped checking but Alina let me know that someone replied. Yay, Alina! Thank you!))
Darius awoke with a start as a hand was laid on his leg. A spinning black blur erupted from the horseman's right hand as his quarterstaff was brought into play. A hairsbreadth from the guards nose, the blur stopped. The guard could clearly see the odd, runic figures imprinted on the silver tip from his vantage point.
"You", the man astride the winded, exhausted gelding said, "are not a Whitecloak.", the man took a deep breath as his sharp-eyed gaze took in his surroundings, while his hands effortlessly replaced his weapon in the specially designed holster by his right leg, "Tar Valon, I presume?"
The guard nodded, he seemed unable to speak at his near brush with a broken nose and likely worse. He had never seen anyone move so quickly, so effortlessly, with a quarterstaff, it was as if the man were one with the weapon. he could only place the relationship akin to a Warder and his sword. That was the only other time he had witnessed such mastery.
"Good. I don't suppose you could tell m-, well, as the cat seems to have your tongue, perhaps point me to the White Tower?", he seemed to pause at that. "Well, I have business with the Amyrlin, so I should likely find an Inn, first. Get rested, revitalized, cleaned before meeting with the most powerful woman in the world? Maybe you could direct me to an Inn, perhaps? Preferably one with a stable, Horse, here, has fought long and hard, deserves a rest."
The guard continued to stare at the man as he slowly, painfully dismounted.
"You aren't too talkative, are you? Are you mute? Missing a tongue? You died and your body hasn't realized it yet? Never learned how to speak? Are incredibly slow and just haven't caught up to the first question yet? By the way, my name is Darius.. Not that you'll ever tell anyone. Wonderful to meet you, _____. Do you always talk this much, _____? Light! Do you ever shut-up?!"
This is the scene that Yurin walked into. Upon sighting his T'sorovar'm'hael, the Dedicated sobered up quickly and ceased his jibings of the guardsman.
"Lord Yurin! I have come at the Lord Dragon's behest. Your message was received, unfortunately, he had other operations and could spare but one. I am that one, sir. It is a pleasure to be working with you again. He said that if further assistance was needed to send a further missive."
Darius knew of Yurin by more than reputation, he had been taught in several martial studies by the Battle Leader, mostly unarmed, he had been deemed useless with a sword. He was unsurpassed with the quarterstaff, however. Noone could penetrate his defenses when he had a quarterstaff. He had also been taught in his One Power usage, by the protege' of the Lord Dragon Reborn, himself.

((Send who what where? I'm so confused...*blinks*))
The pair of them walked into the Aes Sedai dining hall and settled at a random table. A novice came and curtsied and asked for what they would like. Mercury shrugged and told the girl to send whatever the Mistress of Kitchens recommended. The girl nodded and turned to Azalea to take her order. Mercury waited until the girl was gone, before speaking again.
"So have you had any progress puzzling out some of those angreal?"

After a long and arduos ((sp?)) morning of finding an Aes Sedai passed out, almost getting killed by a man who should be Gentaled becauase he is more then HALF mad, and STILL not knowing if she was going to be stilled or not, she dicedid it was a good idea to take a nice long ride. She had gone to the stables, looking for her lovely mare, Honey, for a nice long walk in the foresets suronding Tar Valon. as she headed towards the gate, when she noticed, the Warder from last night, i think his name is urine or somthing... poor man if that really is his name... talking to a man, that seemed tobe half diliorus ((sp?)) she swished her braid over her shoulder and started to play with it. her yellow eyes flashing at the new arrivel ((sp yet again?)) Although she was now deacintly ((sp?)) in Accepted white with the 7 bands, she still had the reagalness she always had when she went out, she was aware that the great serpent ring on her finger was not where she wished it to be, but she knew that, if it had not been for Mesaana, she would be Aes Sedai now. She rode casually over to the Gaidin known all well that he was Clarissa's, but she did not know who this other man was. the guard nuckled his forehead at her and she nodded. "excuse me...Gaididn, but what is going on here? who is this man?" she knew very little of urine, really, who would name their child that? but that he came in a few years ago as a deligation from Rand, and stayed. She tried not to stare at him, he had a look to him that was very inviting. she patted the side of Honeys neck instead.
