Veria and Ameile appeared again out the manhole, however at this point there was men running inside due to finding the dead office men. Veria giggled, "good now they will begin to relize they are no match. Come on." She was going to teliport... but that probably was a bad idea, she had no idea what might be waiting for her. And so she begain with ameile behind her, makin gher way to the next city as quick as possable. "Rodger that Viper. Tell my uncal i want to talk to him about some things later. After things are taken car of here hopefully."
Meanwhile it was true soflora and the others weren't moivng as fast as keria, but they were a close enough disatance. Not too far back just a few feet. All but cresent who was glaring at keria the whole time, walking beside Donte. "I do not like how she moves. Too open. Not only that but her mind is clouded, if she dosn't relize her place and how clouded her mind is over somthing she will take car of anyways, she will get the rest of us killed." Moon shied, "cresent i know you dont want to here this, but this is just like when me and you were moving to find Daren that one time. We need to support her blind sides right now." Cresent seemed to get alittle depressed and went silent. Meanwhile Lilly looked to Donte, "if you wish master you can hop on my back at anytime. I do not mind giving you a ride when you tire out." Soflora smerked, "can you carry me too..." Lilly glared, "dont even think about it little vampire."

Cale stood up from his position and tucked his laptop into his pack before he put his sniper rifle over his shoulder and held the phone to his head. "Veira also says she wants to speak to you later." Cale moved across the roofs to catch up with Charlotte. "Yes, she was the person I'd like to speak to as well. Being the others in her family kinda scare me." Cale snickered. "They are pretty serious all the time." He hopped to the floor and moved around corners of buildings. "I got told that you got killed by a witches curse. The same curse almost killed Veira's little brother. They managed to save him in time." "Really? That's pretty interesting considering..."
Dante chuckled. "I'm fine Lilly. After all, Wolves have really good stamina." At least they were supposed to. Well, he just wanted to show off. However he followed his sister closely, as she regarded all of them like they weren't even there. Kiera tied her hair up, finding herself to get a little overheated. "I'm not sure its supposed to be this warm." Evelyn shrugged. "Its probably a mix of the weather and radiation. With all this crappy human tech flying around it gives off so much heat pollution." Kiera nodded. "Another reason why I don't like technology." Evelyn sighed. "I'm surprised you're not moving faster." Kiera glanced back at the group then looked forward again. "I'm giving them a chance. However I'm getting impatient."
Kiera suddenly had a flashback, however it wasn't so clear to her. Back to a time where she wouldn't have understood anything anyway. "Now sweetie. There will come a time when you're all alone. I will be there. And yet not. Do you understand?" "Not really." The hazy grown figure smiled down to the small shadowed child. "If we want my plans to work, my darling, you're going to have to endure it. I will make you the best that there ever was, I assure you. But you must learn patience. That is the key in this endeavor."

Prophet reloaded his gun, while a few dead bodies were on the ground, some with bullet wounds, others with cut wounds, and some had both. Prophet put his M16 away, and walked through. Prophet looked around, hearing voices, but they sounded familiar. Prophet looked up, and activated his maximum power. He then ran up the wall, and kicked through a window, landing behind Cale and the new person. Prophet looked at them, got his kukri ready, and followed silently, not wanting to attract any attention.

*Veria did want to get right on to the talk with her uncle, but right now... she couldn't let shortstraw get hurt more then he had too becuse she was didling. After all unlike hikari, he was still alive. It didn't take her long to get to the next city as she stopped finally and took cover to scope things out. "This is... some sort of joke right..." she was looking to a mostly blown up city, with messed up building and holes alover the ground men walking allover however.
Meanwhile Soflora whispered to Donte, "i know you dont want to here this but i think in the end they are going to leave us behind. Donte... your the prince so you would become leader of the team." Cresent placed a hand on sofloras shoulder tightly, "relax. War is tense, however pashaints is key. I feel it wil be better when keria goes for shortstraw. For now we will do as we can." Moon pointed, "look ahead the city!"
Meanwhile in the cener of the city there were two men with metal masks back to back, firing at all the enemys that came pouring in to surround them, these as the last two on the Yokai's side remaining in the area. Meanwhile jets were flying off the feilds everywhere.

Prophet sliced through one of the enemies attacking Yuji's last two men. Prophet put his kukri away, and brang his SCAR out, firing at some of the enemies. "Mind if I join?" Prophet asked, headshotting another enemy right about to attack one of the men. Prophet then turned around, and backed up to them, his back touching theirs. Prophet then reloaded, and said, "If I die today, I'll let it be known how people should help others. Now let's kill these things and get it over with." Prophet then pulled a M16 out and held it in his left hand, while his SCAR was still in his right hand. He then started firing both guns, protecting the armored men behind him.

Cale found Charlotte and carried on to catch up with Veira. "Considering what?" There was a small silence before Mordekai spoke again. "No matter. We'll speak about it later. For now, I'd like you to be on your guard. I fear that there is something weird going on in Veira's family." Cale snickered. "They're your family too, old man." There was a quick grumble. "Don't remind me. Just get on with it." Cale heard the beep of a phone being put down and he folded his own phone away. Charlotte stared at Cale suspiciously. "What was that all about?" Cale messed up her hair and carried on. "Mind your own business, pipsqueak."
Kiera glanced on ahead lazily then suddenly stopped to scan over the situation. "How diligent." Kiera's lip curled slightly. "How stupid." Evelyn chuckled. "We know a few people like that." Kiera let out a pitiful sigh. "Honor doesn't mean anything if you're dead." Kiera carried on. "Well, they aren't dead yet. Blatantly." Kiera giggled a little. "We got time. I'm curious to see what they have to say at least." Evelyn sighed. "So you're not going to save them simply because of your good being and need to do well?" Kiera gave her a look. "Should've expected that I suppose."
Dante however said the obvious. The same thing that Kiera eventually got to after some debate. "We have to help them!" Dante grabbed for Soflora's hand as they rushed past Kiera and Evelyn to get in the action. "Now there's diligence for you." Kiera's eyes dimmed. "I've said this once I'll say it again, diligence is a form of stupidity." She smiled. "But brother is a cutie, so I'll ignore it."

*The two men were spining slowly in a circle gunning down all the men they could before finding Sofloras tomihawk zip past them into a man, and donte running in aswell. Even cresent ran in to assist. The men broke formation and took out the runners before the action was slower and finally over. Both men chukkled, "wooh!" the smaller one called. "Hey... isn't that the princess." He asked pointing to keria. The bigger muscle man chukkled, "you have to be shittin me. Boy that ones going to hunt me. Saved by the princess." Both laughed. As everyone came around them. "Obviously were freindlys." The smaller guy pointed to himself, "names salem." The bigger man, "Rios. We're with the SSC, The army of two divistion. Eve recently hired us a while back, been doing missions for her ever since." Salem nodded, "we're out here to take care of a problem next thing you know, boom war. Bombs dropping, bullets flying. A mess." Rios shrugged, "anyways you should know that we found something out, could be important." Salem pointed, "the idots are planning some sort of biowarefare, the rest is just a cover up to start things up." meanwhile soflora poked one of there metal maskes, "why do you were such hidious masks?"

Dante grinned and hopped up and down with hyperness. "I think they're cool!" Meanwhile Kiera sighed and brought her hand to her face. "Bio-warfare. Great. Love that. Sign me up." Evelyn patted her cheek with her paw. "Your sarcasm astounds me sometimes." Kiera looked to the two men again and smiled. "Thanks for telling us. That'll be good information as we move on. You've done a great service here." Evelyn snickered. "Try not to strain that smile too much, dear. It'll stick like that if the wind changes." Kiera shot her a really dirty look and Evelyn finally backed down a little. Only a little. Kiera rubbed her forehead. "The humans don't really know what they're fiddling with. I barely think they can handle their own weapons sometimes." Evelyn chuckled. "Well that fact has always been apparent. Humans are known for biting off more than they can chew."

Prophet smiled, reloading both of his weapons. "About time you guys showed up, I almost got bored." Prophet said, putting both weapons into his armor. "Evelyn, I take offence to that. I'm part human." Prophet said, angrily. He then calmed down, and sighed. "Alright, so, since you guys have been ignoring me, even though I'm in Shortstraw's Brotherhood, what do we do now?" Prophet asked, a little annoyed at them. "Biowarfare, huh, well, things just got a little fun." Prophet joked, looking at the men's masks. "Tell me, this design looks familiar, did you happen to get these from the now gone King Yuji?" Prophet asked, studying and scanning the masks.

*Salem and Rios looked to eachother before having a high five in the air, "you better belive us humans kick as when we need to." Rios chukkled, "we're just mercinarys. The army of two, it's just me and salem here. We will do what we can. Maybe we're run into you later. We still have a job to do here." Salem shrugged, "what! Come on were with the princess, protectin gher would get us more money then..." rios shied and cut him off, "she can handle herself salem, she just saved our a**." They both nodded to the team, "cetcha later." They turned and headed to one of the broken building to a elivader just talking to themselves now. Salem shook his head, "wait hold on, i ant dieing in no box... you know what they say about elivators..." Rios slapped him int he back of the head, "and they also say you dont bullshit in a war zone, get your a** in that goddamn elivader!"
Suddenly Veria appeared infront of keria and the team, "sister i have figured out which place shortstraw is suppost to be. I have to get back to the others and carry on however." She looked to donte, "little brother i am stil watching you. But i'm sure your team will not let you down, you must carry on. First distroy this airbase. Then head to these citys." She handed him a list before looking to Keria, "he's located somewhere in a city northwest from here, Granet City. Be carful however." She looked to evelyn, "take your pick on who you go with. Keep whoever you choose safe for me. I dont want to loose any of you today." She then vanished.

Kiera's eyes clouded only slightly. "I have to get there." Evelyn hopped onto Kiera's head. "Lets not be hasty. We need to plan here. You guys do as Veira said first and then-" Kiera started walking aimlessly. Evelyn fell off and screeched. "Kiera!" Kiera was walking more purposefully now. "I have to get to him." Evelyn shut her eyes and groaned. "Kiera really, not now. We've already had a few episodes of this today." Evelyn rushed after Kiera and managed to get onto her shoulder to scratch her cheek once more. Kiera stopped, and stared into the distance. "Com'on now. We gotta have you sane to go get him." Dante watched as his sister walked off from the group without another thought. He could understand how she felt, he supposed. After all she hadn't known where Shortstraw was for ages and now that she knew it would only be right that she would be so determined, right? It only creeped him out a little how in a daze she was. Dante shook his head and looked back to the others. "We gotta do as Veira said. Sister is gonna go after Shortstraw now I guess. So we gotta clear up the rest."

*lilly nodded and drew her swords, "right behind you master." Cresent crossed her arms, "told you. Lead on kid." Moon and soflora agreed, "Let kick some butt!" Karen however stared off after keria though... "yea..."
Meanwhileon keria's end, clearly she would have gone into the city and took out all in her way. It seemed more were gaurding a little section though. Some sort of warehouse... however as keria would burst inside... they would find just a man clapping. "Ahhh welcome princess... i'm afrade your too late though. Just missed him." He chukkled and held up a little device, some sort of tracker where shortstraw was, "tell you what i'll make you a deal. This little tracking device, in exchange for you putting that cat in..." he held up a spechal jar, "here."

Prophet turned his cloak off, and appeared behind the man. He brought his kukri up to the man's neck, and threatened, "Or, we can do this; you give us the tracker, and you won't get your throat slit open. If not, let's just say the last thing you see is them." Prophet smiled, and said, "Your choice bub." Prophet then looked at Keria, and said, "Alright, get the tracker, I don't want this guy to get any funny ideas." Prophet then pulled a pistol out and aimed at the man's head, and said, "If plan A fails, I'll just go with the backup plan; blow his brains out."

Evelyn made a face. "I'm not so sure that was a good idea..." And it was as Evelyn said. Kiera, face as plain as a blank sheet of paper. She grit her teeth together silently. "Insolent scum." Her eyes started to shimmer as her hands trembled at her sides. "You dare try and strike bargains with me. You're in a very unhealthy position right now." Kiera was suddenly right next to him, her hand clasped around his throat as her eyes and mouth seeped a deep indigo smoke that she breathed down the side of his neck. Her eyes a vivid red colour. "I take what I like, when I like. Now you pay the price for getting between me and my love.." Her voice was deep and sullen as she snatched the tracking device and let Evelyn take it off her before a long pointed tongue escaped Kiera's mouth and tested the air. Her left hand throbbed, clenched to the mans throat. Kiera took a deep breath in. Slowly, ever so slowly, and sucked the life out of the man. A painful death indeed. But a necessary one. She tossed the lifeless husk aside and wiped her mouth. Evelyn grumbled. "Did you really have to make such a scene. I mean we're supposed to be incognito. And abilities are supposed to be off. So if you keep using that everywhere then it will be become apparent." Kiera turned and jumped back down to Evelyn. "I don't care about any of that. Lets just get Shortstraw already." She was through and through, back to normal. No seeping smoke or shining eyes. "You'd care if you were sane right now." Evelyn sighed. "Fine, lets get a move on."

Prophet smiled, and said, "Wow, you've gotta teach me that trick." Prophet looked at the lifeless husk, and growled, putting his pistol away, and his kukri back in it's sheath. Prophet then kicked the dead body, and said, "Well, we might aswell leave, the cops will show any minute now." Prophet then turned his claok on, turning invisible, and followed Keria out of the building. He looked back, and silently said to himself, "Shortstraw, hang on, don't die until we find ya bud."
