Jenn wandered around town with Sir, keeping the rental Ponyta out for both protection an company. They'd left the hotel eariler in the morning, and were currently just wandering around the rural town. Everyone else seemed to be bustling around and taking off, so the pokemonless trainer simply decided to take a walk around town with Sir. He was sniffing her hair, apparently enjoying the smell of the shampoo from her shower eariler. She batted his nose away with a laugh, pulling her long hair to safety in case the ponyta decided to try munching it. Sir himself was practically gleaming from all the brushing and washing Jenn had given him. He beamed at every compliment directed his way. "You vain ponyta, you." Jenn teased him as they walked, referring to how he always reacted when someone said he looked pretty. To her words, the ponyta gave a mock-snort and playfully shoved her side with his head.
(Getting a post in now, beacause I don't think I'll be able to make it for the first hour of the metaplot time. >o<; I hope the swarm doesn't happen before I get back. I've already had to miss the last two... (Well mostly, I was there for the last of the Swablu swarm, but I haven't gotten to a swarm since.))

((@ Anyone who needs someone to respond to.))
Zen, having ridden ahead of the rest, made it to Motoressa a day before the rest of the pack. He was bored as hell, and welcomed any excitement possible. He'd heard reports of the mysterious flying creature, and had daydreamed for a good while on what it might be. A Lugia, possibly? Or maybe a Ho-oh. It could easily have been another legendary bird, such as Latios or Latios. Zen would love to see any of the above possibilities.
Stretching and yawning as he got out of bed, Zen strolled out of the inn room he had rented for the night. Going down the stairs, he noticed that the parlor of the inn was silent. Strange, the parlor was usually full of clamoring guests and their Pokemon. The innkeeper wasn't even present. Zen quirked an eyebrow and frowned, letting Axel and Armageddon out of their balls. This was too eerie to not have protection.
Once outside, Zen noticed a significant lack of people. He saw some from the caravan, and quickly approached them.
"Ho! What's happened with you lot?"

Renekai ((No problem. :3)) "Go ahead," Zinnia encouraged. Zyk hopped off of the plate and landed on Jamais's arm. He plucked the berry from her fingers, careful not to pierce her with his sharp fangs, and fluttered back to his usual perch on Zinnia's shoulder to consume his prize. "That could be fun. I don't know anything about machinery, but I like pokemon. Maybe I could get Shadow to come and Sing to the miltank... If they're asleep, they're calm, right?" Zinnia pushed the remains of her breakfast around thoughtfully. Then she popped one last bite into her mouth before getting up to put the plate away. She came back with another smile. "Have you ever seen a black mew before?" she asked, bragging just a tiny bit. Jamais nodded and watched the zubat take the berry with a smile, as he ate it.
"I can show you if you'd like" She said with a nod, and chuckled, "I think they're at least a little more content if they're as far as I know they haven't gotten much sleep at all."
She paused when the question of a black mew came up. "Actully I don't think I've seen a mew, besides the occasional pictures on the TV. I know we had that Lugia in the caravan. Though that's harder to miss."

Ruchii chuckled and shook her head. "Nah, you won't be a bother. And neither will Gwend. It's not technically my house, it belongs to a friend who's outta town." She smiled softly, patting Buck's shoulder. "There's a room in the house, or plenty of room in the stable. But... If you sleep in the stable, you're gonna have to be careful of this lug.... He doesn't like to sleep alone, for some reason. Dunno why. Maybe he's as spooked as the electrike were about whatever's going on."

Zinnia grinned widely and hurried to Jam's side. "I can show you one!" she said. "But... She only comes when I need her, and she likes sleeping through the day better." Zinnia's happy expression faded somewhat. "But... Maybe she'll come when we get to the farm?" She didn't sound very hopeful. "But you believe me, right?" she suddenly demanded. "I really am friends with a mew!" Zyk squeaked in agreement. He had a thousand reasons to be grateful to Shadow Mew; she had saved Zinnia from death or harm several times.

"Ho! What's happened with you lot?" Brianna was wandering around herself, having been unsuccessful in her searches thus far. Seeing someone up ahead, she meandered in his direction and then looked to the caravan.
"Hey... what's going on?" she asked, blinking between Zen and the other group of people.

Meeka had returned to the inn to find something quite . . . odd. There was a large hole in the wall there a window used to be. And no . . . this hole was not located in the ocean (five points to whoever gets this reference. 8D!). From her room, she questioned her Mewtwo if she was the one causing mischief and the Mewtwo replied a quiant, "No." Hell, whoever or whatever caused that hole seemed to scare everyone off . . . there was hardly anyone in town!
Feel a jitter ring up in her, the Mewtwo gave her a hug just to calm her down. "Meeeeka! Everything will be alright." her Mewtwo whined. "If you get anymore scared, my ears will go deaf!"
Meeka sighed trying to calm herself. She knew Rin was very sensitive to others feelings which caused the ringing in her ears. Hopefully . . . everything would be well soon . . .

It didn't take Lynne long to notice how empty it was out. "This is so strange... I thought there would be a lot more people..." Or at least so she had heard. She had Tauros out with her as she explored the town, pretty much just for some company since she never much got a chance to get to know her group. Despite the lack of people out-and-about, the few that were were rather talkative. A missing old man, a mysterious bird... This was one of those times she really wished she paid more attention to things.
(Sorry to post-and-run like that yesterday. I had a lot less time than I thought. x.x)(And I'm like, totally WB'ed right now. x.x)

Taking notice of Lynne as well as she walked up, Brianna simply shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah it is a little weird, but I figure they're just out looking for Eevees or something? I'm thinking about going to do some more looking myself. Want to come?"
After all, her goal here had been to catch an Eevee, and that had yet to happen.

Jamais was still nibbling on breakfast remains as they walked. "Think we'll find anyone else that might want to help?" She asked curiously as they walked
She listened curiously, "Ohh I'd love to meet him." She agreed with a nod, "it could be helpful if the mew could calm down the pokemon. They all seem to be really aggressive and irritated lately." She said thinking back to the last swarm and the miltank.
She walked on they could've taken the ponyta but liking to walk was also nice. She clicked her tongue a few times. "I wonder if there's going to be another swarm.

@ anyone, really Opal returned to the inn from shopping in the town [which was mysteriously empty of it's residents...This struck Opal as incredibly odd] to find a large hole where a window was before. She went back up to her room to see what her ghosts were up to. Nerezza pouted, Itzal shook his head no, and Ursalyn grumbled as Opal questioned them. Opal frowned and she went back outside of the lobby to get some fresh air.

@Ori
Seemed that people were starting to come out of the woodwork now. Perhaps it wasn't as deserted as some were thinking. Spotting Opal, the purple haired girl raised her hand to wave at her.

It scared her a little bit when she heard someone talking to her but Lynne got over it fast enough. "Oh, hey! Ya'know, I suppose that would make sense, wouldn't it?" As she thought about it it did seem kinda silly she didn't think about it before. It was the reason the lot of them were there after all. "Oh, sure, sounds good to me. Name's Lynne by the way."

"Her," Zinnia corrected. "Maybe there will be a swarm. I missed out on all of them so far, since I didn't come here with the caravan. But I heard about it afterwards." She frowned a bit. No wonder the wild pokemon were aggressive-- they had just been forced out of the wild... But maybe they would have better lives with trainers. "I don't really see that many people around," Zinnia admitted. "I don't know if anyone will help or not... But I'll help! And so will Zyk, and maybe Shadow if she shows up... Oh! I have a great idea! Zyk, you know where she is, right?" Zyk squeaked an affirmative, though it was reluctant. "Great! Could you go get her?" she asked, unleashing her notorious puppy eyes. Zyk really didn't want to leave Zinnia alone, but he was putty in her capable hands. He nipped her affectionately before springing into the air and winging back to the Trotting Turtwig Inn. Shadow was back in Zinnia's room-- typical. Perhaps she had always been there, invisible. "They'll be back soon! Shadow can teleport," Zinnia promised.
