Colin finished the drawing the ritual and activated it with a drop of his own blood. The pattern in Rham's blood began to glow darkly, and suddenly a previously-unseen design on the clockface lit up. Its lines met those of his alchemy to form a geometric pattern ancient and yet eeriely familiar.

Jabezrien wafted lazily around Tower. Colin had to be somewhere, because Colin was a rational being. And Colin was probably at one of his schools. "That's less places than the earth. I like pie." It stopped and sniffed. "No! Not the old boots again. Oh! Colin! Cooooolin! Yay!" And then it realized what Colin was doing. "No! Bad mortal, bad! The boots are coming!" it cried out, ramming into him headfirst.

"Gah! Wha--ah. You found me." Colin glared wearily at the elemental. "Kindly shut up. And stop hitting me. I'm very busy."

"Making boots! Making--that!" It flailed a limb in the general direction of the now smoking ritual.

"It is called 'Unholy Alchemy', not 'Boots', you twit. Either calm down or go away. Preferably both." He didn't have much hope for either. its sole purpose in life seemed to be to torment him.

The smoke reached for Colin and closed around him like a claw. "No! No, don't go there!" Jabezrien snatched at its friend desperately. Before Colin had a chance to even try to kick it, they had both disappeared.

They reappeared in a large, sunlit cathedral with no doors. In the center of the vast room stood a pure white obelisk.

The elemental let go and looked around. This place didn't look dangerous--in fact, it felt almost peaceful. It was still uneasy. Unholy Alchemy was noxious to nature spirits like itself. Good things never came of the sort of portal Colin had opened. It had a strange feeling about the obelisk too. It reminded Jabezrien of something. Something wrong.

Colin stared greedily at the obelisk. The Millenium Tower! I can't believe it was that easy! Sure, it sounds like it's the weakest of the five whatever-they-were-fors, but it's a very good first step. I'm glad Rham was so stupid. Otherwise he would have known to hide that book better. I wonder how I activate it. Shrugging, he walked up and touched it. "I said stop that! Bad Colin! You're going to lose a finger someday."

Before it could protectively attack him again, another creature emerged from the obelisk. The new creature looked a lot like Jabezrien, but with a better scheme of shades of blue. It had a clipboard in hand and a bandage over its eyes.

((Btw, on an utterly unrelated note, Bai Ching is in the Himalayas, not Alps. The Alps are in Europe. Durr.))

((sorry, dont think me unfair or anything, but Riser is a rather godly (or should i say ungodly) villain right now.))
He landed softly on the ground in front of him. Several bandages shot from his back and wrapped around the delicate wings, wrenching Kai up into the air to face him once more.
"I know that the demon in you hungers for power Kai. Let me feed it. Let me give you strength!"

((Randomly posting from school! Would also like to point out that Boom makes a very nasty villain, and you have to have a freakishly strong character in order to defeat him. But don't feel bad. You won't be the first to fall by Boom's... er, posts, I suppose. So, join the dark side! We have cookies!

And Boom, don't make Ophi come after Riser. (Not that he has the guts to...) He's still upset about the whole 'Waking me up and banishing my descendent to Hell' ordeal.))

((Like most villains, Riser will eventually fall. I assure you of that.))
