150k isn't bad...It's a lot to me. (I'm not even sure what I really want...just stuff that appeals to me from time to time for a crazy avi.) For example, my aviator hat was an impulse buy. I also got a chain saw on impulse because I had some of the cheap nurse stuff and wanted to be a crazy nurse. (possibly homicidal) XD

So, the universe hates me right now.... once agian, i am on my library computer because my compy at home is a schizofrenic *insert cuss words here*. scream it really is. right now, all the lights on my DSL tower are green, which means that its SUPOSED to work.... yeah right. everytime I open my firefox link it says it can't find the server. I don't have access to anything. crying . Does any one here speak computer? I'd like some help....
here's what i know about the problem.... my brother said that we need to renew the IP adress, but we need internet acess to do that. so help would be great.
also, And Im not sure this would effect anything, but about a year ago my brother started taking virtual high school classes, but ended up dropping out of the program in like January. They gave him the computer that we're using right now, but they want it back.... so would they be able to prevent us from having internet access?
I'm still here and everything, by the way. I'll just be on less often. like once a week. crying

A lot of my friends are philosophy majors. I have taken some philosophy stuff and it is fascinating, i just wish we could get away from the religious philosophy a bit more at my school...that is all they ever talk about in those classes. Why I am not a philosophy major or minor actually. Go psych majors! -waves flag-

Is may face turning blue yet? (still being squeezed) I also have a friend that is interested in joining, except it may take her a while because she likes to be very meticulous/methodical and is reading through everything so she can do something completely original...if she can think of something after all that work.

Nimriel, you shouldn't need the internet to release and renew your IP address. You just need a terminal window. I'm going to assume that you're using Windows XP.
Go to the start menu and select run When the run window appears, type cmd A terminal window will then pop up Type th following in your terminal window:
ipconfig /release
and press the Enter key
Then you want to type:
ipconfig /renew
and press the Enter key
--------
There really would be no way for them to get your computer unless they hacked into your modem, I think. I'm not a securities expert so I don't know all the rules. It sounds just like modem issues really. Your ISP should be able to walk you through problems as well.
Sometimes I Just need to unplug my DSL modem completely, let it sit for a minute, and then start it back up.

The upcoming test is a review of Algebra I and Geometry, the later hating me so very badly and the fore I can't remember any of it. The main thing I have a problem with is slope. You can give me the formula, points everything, tell me how to do it and I still can't. Probably because we've had to reteach ourselves all of this.

I did so perfect in Algebra 1 and geometry. I struggled way too much in Algebra 2. It was just so different. I blame the teacher lol

Meh?
Aheh-- I know NOTHING about Philo.. I'm a Nursing major-- I don't care what Kant said, or what who thinks-- So long as I pass out the lollies and wear Strawberry Shortcake scrubs- I'm doing my job. *puffs up*
