Sirenz - XD; If it makes you feel better, your name stands out for being an art whore, not an artist. Srsly, everyone I know recognizes your chars a mile away.
I just do auctions for time-management reasons, ehhe. That, and I can't commit to most shopworks. I've always done better in auction but it's mainly because I spam linktrades like mad.
See, now I'm curious what people would pay if they didn't see me next to like, Khel, Luc, Tir, and PB. XD; Mind if I copy example, Anetra? (Mm, I am so in for an ego-bruising.)

Gah auctions x.x I never got anything from those. Pixel art is WAY underappreciated. I can make lots of -real- money pixeling for rpgs and stuff but I don't get more than 5k in gaia gold.

Ah, the sad thing is, I'd never open a shop for those pics at that price. XD; If I got like, PB to do it, people would be like "zomg...*excited*" and nothing would ever come of it. XD ah, but I'd laugh.

NinjaKana I love your art! I agree that 30k is really reasonable, but maybe start at 20k until your more farmiliar around gaia, wink Very nice though!

yeah the pricing forum is noobs pricing other noobs, tru dat ;i.
i think i used it once out of curiosity almost a year ago if i remember correctly. the highest i got for a sketch was i think 70k, but most people stayed under 10k.
i like opening shops on my mules. it takes 4 times longer to get someone just to even come in and say "good luck" than if i use my main. crazy. on my main i can open a shop with one slot and get it filled in less than 3-10 posts, never on a mule. people just like names and saying they have something that person did for whatever reason. i don't think it has much to do with actual quality. i've seen people proudly display really bad/old sketches of people with "names" and go around just saying "look i have a soandso". it can look like chicken scratch and they don't care. pretty nuts. :3
