Most pets have a name tag, home phone number, and owners name.

In my case, yes; in Minky's case, obviously no talk2hand If that is the case, then Gera has the sole decision in this case as to who will be his "owner". That is unless the opposing party wishes to argue whether or not Gera is a pet in the truest sense of the word. Do you have an argument stating and proving why Gera should be considered a pet (much like a dog or cat) in the eyes of the law? If not, then Gera will decide who is owner is and that will be the end of the matter Because he fails to take care of himself and needs someone to care for him. He's more of a snake than a cat or dog.
