Astarte tredded through the park. There were always people here, and she needed company. She sighed and sat on the bench until she sensed another immortal. She rubbed her neck, yup, still scabs. She grunted, "That guy had metal fricken teeth. How does he talk so well?"

She stepped back, digging her claws into the ground. She watched him, her eyes never leaving his. "J....eff?" She growled through her teeth. She would have to be careful, though even her instincts seemed to be pulling her down, reading to hunt anything, but not her kind, no, he was a rival. Her platinum eyes shifted as she pressed her tongue to the back of her teeth.

Astarte furrowed her brow and looked behind her, "Lycan...two...Zarathos's fiance and..." She grunted, "of course, someone I don't know." She sat back around. "Feh, what the hell." SHe stood up and walked over to them, both werewolves. She smiled as she knew she was in the middle of a battle, "Wonderful."

Diego's red eye and blue eye looked into hers insanity. "Free... tonight." His deep growling laugh mirthlessly escaped from his lips. "Kill..." He looked into Layna's, his held no anger just tormented insanity. Diego's large form was much stronger and faster than Jeffs. His tongue slide across his white teeth.

She arched her eyebrows, "Free?" She noticed the insane difference between the two lycanthropes. She sighed, "can I be referee?"

Her lips pulled back in a snarl. Her claws dug deeper as pure instinct took over. She growled, bearing her teeth. "You...not mess with me....not now." She looked up at him, taking in the two feet that separated her head from his. No good there.....not a charge.... She thought, thinking of what he was up to.

Deigo snorted. "His...Heart...Break... Humans... Eats..." He walked what seemed too lightly for a creature of his size. His tail gently swong from side to side. He walked in a circular motion. "He...Hates... I... Love... Friends..." He growled slightly. "Friends... Fight... I... Die... Maybe..."

Her eyes never left his as he circled. Her shoulders ached as she bowed them in, and jumped above him and landed ten feet away. "No hate.....you hate.....he don't...." She said, before dashing away from him. Her instincts warned her that he was a pure predator, not to be messed with.

She furrowed her brow, trying to understand his broken words, "Does that make you the good guy, or the bad guy?" She looked at Layna, noticing her angry stance. She was so confused.

Diego shot a glare in her direction. "Good...Evil... Matter... Of... Perception." He looked to where Layna had ran and gave a silent chase.
Stupid! Never run from a predator, only excites them. Jeff wanted to yell to her.

She looked up at the moon. Come on.....any time.....now.... She let out a gasp as the rain began to fall. The moon had finally retreated behind the thick clouds.It fell in the thick sheets that washed away most traces of scent. It cleared her mind, and made it easier to control. She jumped upward and disappeared silently into the the branches, staying perfectly still as the rain fell loudly around her.

She arched a brow, impressed by Layna's thoughts. She liked the idea of hiding your scent through rain. She pulled her hair into a pony-tail to lessen the wettness of her hair. She listened to the lycans thoughts to keep herself interested in their hunt.

Diego paused slightly as the rain started to fall. Damn it Jeff, you should have never told about the water trick. He moved slower and sniffed the ground catching tid bits of her scent.
Jeff laughed in Diego's skull.

She felt herself gain more and more control until she was finally able to change smoothly back into human. She watched carefully from her perch, wanting to curse him, but then that would give her away completely. She leaned carefully on her branch. Come on.....even a mighty hunter has lost my scent? Heh, and I am but the fallen wolf....

Diego got bored of hunting he could also feel his control gradually slipping. He lost her scent suddenly he sniffed around for a few seconds then grinned. He slashed a tree's trunk in half it started to tip slowly at first. He looked up into the branchs he could only see the relection of light in Layna's eyes.
