Exxos humble_gypsy_traveller Exxos As we move into the new year on my favorite night of the last, I reflect on the past and look forward to the future. 2012 has been a rough year, full of a lot of ups and downs. But I have many things to be thankful for. Artistically, I have completed a large body of writing, surpassing my goal for the year, and have excelled at improving my sketchup skills. On the relationships and family front, it has been a major year; I was best man at my best friends' wedding, made new friends, strengthened old bonds, and dare say hooked the girl of my dreams – both figurative and literal (just got to reel her in the rest of the way in 2013! (–_^)b ). On the front of personal growth, I admit that I was thwarted quite often, but I still did a lot and overcame a lot – small things for the rest of you, but huge for me. For 2013, my goals are mostly not monumental and are continuations of 2012's successes. I plan to push forward on my writing, start developing the Aluminum Falcon in sketchup, and continue focusing on getting healthier. My "do more" resolutions are to gamemaster more and read more, as these two have slumped slightly as of late. The single, monumental goal for 2013 is to give learning how to drive an car one last try – and that is terrifying... Well, I gotta say one of my biggest highs was meeting great people like you Exxos! I think you're forgetting something...what about retrieving that diploma? Or have you already? You're right! Even though I was thwarted getting into college by money and support problems, I did get that sorted out and got my diploma. I grouped it in the "I still did a lot and overcame a lot – small things for the rest of you, but huge for me" part, but you're right, that is a major accomplishment. It's just...I thought maybe that wasn't done...but...YAY FOR EXXOS!!!! *grabs your hands and bounces in circles* xd

gaia_nitemareleft emotion_hug Translation (very rough one, sorry for that) for the poem I put on my facebook yesterday: "I wish this year shall preserve what you love the most. I hope the new year will bring that what you wish for most and take away what you carry as a burden." The party was nice, though there wasn't many of us. I was the designated driver so I just drank water and coca cola the whole night. It was still fun and we sang karaoke and went to see the rockets during midnight etc. whee It was and still is pouring water in here so it was bit of a party killer but this is normal winter weather in here these days. *sigh* gaia_angelright

My sister asked a very interesting question last night as we were departing from her New Year's get-together. She asked everyone there, "What was your best moment of 2012?"
Everyone joked around a whole lot, but after the initial joking we all thought real hard about the question. I realized it's hard to think about an ENTIRE YEAR'S WORTH of time in one moment!
I wanted to pass my sister's question on you AGA. :3

I'll have to think about it more... but just off the top of my head I'd say it was the day I got both my kids report cards and they were awesome! (my son had been struggling a bit with school for a while so this was especially great for him)

I think I might have made the most inappropriate gaia avatar (without any alterations; directly from the avatar designer on the site) currently possible – at least with my inventory. Beyond this spoiler is a horrible thing. There will be trauma and nudity and girl parts on hairy man imagery and sado-mosochism and drooling and animals concerned about a**l insertion.

twiggimmapiggus What was your best moment of 2012? If I had to pick just one...I'd have to say it was meeting qwaychou. She's an amazing person...someone that any guy would be lucky enough to have in his life.
