Rain of Pain

PostPosted: Sun Aug 12, 2007 12:01 am

Rain grabbed some spaghetti and when back to her seat. She quickly ate all of her food and stood up, bringing the plates back to the kitchen then she strode out of the room. Once out in the hallway she quickly made her way to the library so she could do her homework. She sat down in the back behind the book shelves and quickly went to work.

Lasela had gottont eh food and sat in the back nibbling.s he was staring at the picture again as she sighed and finnished. The sad thing was, she didnt know where her room was, what her schedule was, or where anything besides the outside, Cafeteria, and Horatus's office was.

((Sorry cousins kicked me off... will edit if you don't like it....))

"You are right about the assassins, they couldn't care less about you, but this school will. I may not look like it but I had to stop the both of you from fighting because you both were not taking into account the dangers you put yourselves in." Looking at her with a stern look, "You are right that Garreth is a headmaster and is above me in status. But I'm a teacher and I spend more time with any of you than any of the headmasters combined."

Pausing, he began speaking again still holding his stern look, "What you told me was disrespectful. You also undermined my authority and you..." before he continued he directed a small amount of his demon aura against her and looking at her with rage filled blood red eyes, "underestimated my skills as a teacher. Do not tell me what danger you are to me when even hell's assassins fear my very presence." reverting back to his human form he sighed. "Just rest up for now if you have any questions you can bring it up with me after class tomorrow. I'm going to dinner join us when your ready."

As he teleported to the cafeteria and acquired some food. I hope I didn't let too much of my anger when I spoke to her.

((Good night everybody.))

I just came on to check things. I don't have time to post. But please, for the sake of my sanity, and anyone else's who has to be absent once in a while, please please PLEASE slow down with the posting. ))

(ooc - given I've missed a fair number of pages again, and that this keeps happening I'm going to be pulling out of the RP within the next couple of days, Insead of asking for a summary just assume I've been in my office since the 1st fighting class ended.)

Karariv sat in the dark of her office alone, she had drawn the curtains and locked the door.
Though it was dark she could still see perfectly, as could any of her race. On her desk was a large roll of parchment, she had spent the last hours writing on it, taking time to compose something she knew would have a huge effect on her.
It said:

Unknown to many, Elves forsee their deaths with enough time to put their affairs in order. I forsaw my death less than two days before the event.
I did not know how I died, but I hope it was a warriors death.
This obviously leaves the school without a head. I trust Garreth and Horatus will be able to chose a successor wisely and I trust this successor will continue what I have started.
In terms of my posessions, I wish to have my Retirement Sword with me for the rest of eternity.
My weapons I shall leave to the school, to be used in training, not to be locked up where they become dull and useless.
My armour shall also be donated to the school, except for my military set.
The rest of my posessions are to be sorted though by the heads.
Any relating to the school are to be kept by the heads as school property, the rest is to be sent to my family.

I wish to be cremated in my full military uniform, including armour and retirement sword. My ashes are then to be scattered on the school grounds.
As a former member of the military I wish for a military funeral, with the students and staff attending.

A message for all who ever knew me:
I came into this world kicking and screaming, I intend to leave in a similar manner, just more dignified.

She read the parchment again and sighed, everything was done, now all she had to do was wait and find out what was to be her end.
She lit a candle, closed her eyes and began to meditate, the flicker of the flame reflecting off the armour she wore.

Hours later she opened her eyes, it was dinner as far as she could tell,
"Almost time." she said
It was then she heard it, a loud rumbling noise, then a roar.
She took her retirement sword, military shield, with her family crest emblazoned on the front and smiled, "So will it be a battle that ends my years, how fitting."
She unlocked her door and sprinted out of her office to the front door.
Students and Teachers were going to investigate what the noise was, but she ignored them. All she was focusing on was the fight at hand.
She ran out of the school to face the creature which had caused the noise.
Even with nearly 150 years experience, she did not know what it was.

It stood about eight feet tall and four feet at its shoulders. It was covered in thick, matted hide. It's fangs glistened with Saliva. It was a humaniod, standing on it's rear legs, but all limbs ended in long sharp claws.
It's eyes glowed an errie white, with no pupils.
"So this is how it's going to be." she said smiling, "SO BRING IT ON!" she shouted the last part as she ran at the creature.

It lunged at her, she dodged, slashing at the arm, almost severing it at just above the wrist. Then the other arm came from nowhere . . .
The claws were indeed sharp, she was glad that she had decided to wear her normal armour, not her military armour, they slashed through the metal, cutting it to ribbons.
Karariv gasped and fell to the floor, her vision blurring. She could see a figure above her, not the creature, the blur was too small.
She could hear it roaring in pain, others seemed to be fighting it.
She gasped for breath, her body was numbing, she had to say one last thing before . . .
"In my office . . . a letter . . . it explains everything."
The figure faded into the blackness, then some light returned, she managed to get one last sentence in before the blackness took her for ever,
"I am . . . glad . . .glad it ended this way . . . life was getting dull after a hundred and fifty years."
Then darkness, nothingness.

Karariv Silvias was dead.
