Silver Spoons. Dragon's Lair in the arcade. Dragon's lair cartoon. Turbo Teen. Star Wars in the theater before the upgrades. Gremlins. What? Cable? They expect you to pay for television? That'll never last? Wolf Rock TV starring Wolfman Jack. Lion and vehicle Voltron. That god awful WWF cartoon with Roddy Piper as the villain. Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.

Hulk Hogan's Rockin Wrestlin! WOOO!
Gobots is so bad it's funny...
Captain N was neat though.

I do miss Dangermouse and Duckula though. Dragon's Lair was partnered with Space Ace, which was great
Herculoids was fun...so was Thundaar. I always remember the Mr. T episode of Alvin and the Chipmunks ><
Turbo Teen was bad too. Sectaurs was pretty bad (though the toys were AWESOME)

Is it odd that I have no idea what Exo-Squad and Ronin Warriors are? I wish I could remember what networks I watched what on (for the US based to Canadian based ones), but my after school stuff was some combination of BTAS/New Adventures of Batman and Superman, Shatner Star Trek, Adam West Batman and Get Smart.

Ronin Warriors was an anime. ExoSquad was not. ExoSquad was like GI Joe if everyone was out in space and had a mecha.

Exo-Squad was pretty neat. Never got into Ronin Warriors.

I watch WAY too many cartoons.
I'm currently watching a Billy and mandy marathon ><

I watch a lot less now then I used to, but that's because the good stuff is few and far. I keep hearing that they have new episodes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends...but no plans to actually AIR them. scream

Other then that the only 'now' toons I've watched are Avatar: The Last Airbender and Brave and the Bold.

The amount of sheerly crappy anime is still pretty pathetic. The original Yu-Gi-Oh was hilarious to watch because of how overblown everything was. (I still laugh every now and then at two things: Shining Friendship and Pink Belly Hoodie) The volume of knockoff type shows peddling cards and toys now is astounding.

Ah. I had a pathological aversion to all that macho stuff even going back that far. I'd rather watch Sailor Moon than Dragon Ball Z back in the day. I guess that explains a lot about the way I turned out.

I can't say that I watch any current animation regularly, but I quite like what I've seen of Brave and the Bold, although there are some shows with great set ups and humour but complete s**t for animation like Metalocalypse.

Venture Brothers is another show that really needs some love.

Me too. ExoSquad was a show with brains. I was going for a quick example description. It was more like Babylon 5 in terms of the characters and interactions.

Never got into that either, but point taken.

Ronin Warriors/Samurai Troopers was awesome, but it took me years to figure out what it was called because I watched it under the title of Les Samouraïs de l'Eternel, which of course no one had ever heard of when I was a kid.

My cartoon habits were varried because of the obvious reasons. I loved Sous le Signe des Mousquetaires and Batman: The Animated Series.

My early childhood cartoons were things like Scooby-Doo and Dexter's Laboratory. Mind you, I lived in Morocco until I was 8 so the only choices were Cartoon Network or ...Cartoon Network.
I still have several much-loved Scooby-Doo videos.
When I moved back to England in '98, I ended up watching Digimon, Sailor Moon, Mystic Knights (not a cartoon) and Princess Ceci (sp?) amongst other things. I was obsessed with Digimon for ages. sweatdrop
I also remember being quite excited that when we went on holiday to France one year, I could still watch Princess Ceci albeit in French.

Turbo Teen.
I had other things to say, but the fact that someone else remembers that show has blanked out my brain from excitement.
