Markus followed along with the whole deal until they hit the cave. He arched an aye looking into the darkness. "So." He said looking into the cave like everyone else. "Tell me again what this paticular....recruit....can do?" He said remembering that Mystique hadn't really mentioned that part. "You sort of glossed over that part of the conversation and after all it is a fairly important thing to know." He said in a nuetral tone of voice so it wouldn't come off as being winey or fearful. Tacticly it made sense to know what your opponent was capeable of so you didn't walk in and wind up looking like a total idiot.

((Sorry Y'all. I've been busy with work and unfortunately haven't been posting. Hopefully I will be able to post a lot more))

Yawning, Albel stagers onto his feet. Wonderful, he thought sarcastically to himself, The blue queen wants us to run her errands...well might as well make this interesting.

Turning to Tobias Albel smirks, "Hey Tobias, lets have ourselves a little competition; Winner causes the most mayhem durring this little errand. Loser buys the winner as many rounds as he can drink... Think your up for it?"

When the Brotherhood stopped in front of the cave Toad could feel himself smirking as he greedily rubbed his sticky hands together. He loved caves, everything about them seemed almost magical to him. To other people caves were simply a dark damp hole in the ground with stalagmites and stalactites. But to Toad the cave was so much more. The creatures and random crap inside provided what was to him, a gourmet buffet. The rock formations were his play ground and the murky water that dripped and collected in pools didn't have a trace of soap. Plus there was the smell, oh how he loved the smell of caves, more so after something was decaying inside. To him it was heaven and forgetting about the mission, he couldn't wait to go inside.

"I'm ready fer anything, pardner. Let's just smoke the feller out," David said in a John Wayne-esque voice, responding in his own way to Markus's question. Unlike some of the other Brotherhood members, David did not possess a magical spandex costume. He barely possessed any clothing at all, save a couple pairs of pants and t-shirts, plus his brown coat. That, and he never saw the appeal of colorful spandex.

Oh! How lovely! Only seventy seconds into their mission and Mystique was already being bombarded with questions. And to think, she had planned to use stealth as their main tactic. Although Marcus' tone was even and fairly low, chances are, even if she was deep in the cave, she was coming to realize she had unexpected company. Even with that minor set-back, Mystique was far from backing down or giving up. She had a homeroom's worth of cannon fodder, and she was only one girl, afterall...

"This particular recruit is Wolverine's one and only clone," said Mystique as she briefly turned to answer Marcus' question. Her answer had been short and sweet, simply because she saw no need to draw it out and waste anymore time on simple matters such as this.

"Infernal," she barked, turning slightly and pointing first at one of the newer recruits and then at a dry, baseball sized tree branch on the ground just in front of him.

"Light the way. I want to make sure our little member-to-be knows she has company."

Two large brown bags in her hands along with keys dangling from underneath one Zion somehow managed to get the door open to the house after having stood there for about ten minutes banging on the door with her foot. Once the door was open the red head went to the kitchen and put the bags on the counter then yelled, "Can someone help me bring the groceries in!" Usually the mention of groceries got atleast two people running in to help her bring them in then proceed to eat most.

Zion stood there and blinked, no one came. The house was unusually quiet except for the tapping on the wood floor from Haze's nails as she padded in the room. "Well atleast someones home." She said as she proceeded to go out and start bringing in the rest of the groceries.

"Wow." Conner uttered, merely to stop any uncomfortable silences while he tried to think of what to say. "Your parents sound very..." He stopped there. He tossed severel cans of chilli into his basket. "Sounds like your better off without them." He said finally. Several tins of curry followed the chilli.
At the back of his mind he was carefully trying to formulate a plan for his payback but every one of them had a flaw he couldn't get around. He'd never planned any kind revenge or prank before, his analytical skills and imagination were more suited to scamming people out of thier money and possessions and he couldn't get his head around to this new way of thinking. He was definitely glad he now had a partner in this caper. He glanced across at Victoria, getting a read of her; she hadn't balked when he had broken the law earlier and he had to wonder what kind of person was like that.
"Any ideas on how we should get that brotherhood bloke? 'Cause I'm coming up empty." He asked Victoria.

Victoria visibly paused for a second as she rounded the corner into another aisle. Hand frozen mid-motion as it reached for the Nesquik, she glanced at Conner, wondering if she heard right. He, Conner, master swindler and con-artist wanted her input when it came to revenge on certain Brotherhood yuppies? Why, she could not have been more flattered.

"Well," she started with a smile, picking up where she had left off and tossing the box into Conner basket, which was quite a bit less full them hers.

"It depends how evil you want to be when it comes to this revenge thing, really. You could stick with the standard summer camp pranks; gimping him to his bunk, bucket of oatmeal on the door frame, putting his hands in a bowl of warm water and steal his underwear, that sort of thing. Or.."

Victoria paused again at this, and went to shove a few smaller food items into her own basket. Once that was done, she turned to face Conner again, curious as to whether he was taking notes or not.

"You can go with the downright nasty; Publicly humiliating him in front of his Brotherhood pals would be my suggestion. The Brotherhood seem like the type to thrive on the embarrassment of others, especially their own team-members. If your plan were to go without a hitch, you'll be killing town birds with one stone. You will have gotten your revenge and possible earned brownie points with the rest of those A-holes."

And with that said, Victoria shrugged her shoulders as if all that was nothing, and continued with her shopping.

He waved off her sort of explanation. "It's nothing to worry about " He told her. He gave no indication on weather or not he thought her name was odd. "Well then Miss Blade welcome." His lips twitched. "I'm told my mother wanted to name me heratio. Somehow I can't see that going very well with Xavier." He said trying to lighten her mood a little bit.

Lizz glanced at the cave and then back at the others. Okay, Wolverine if she remembered her X-men correctly was that guy with the claws. Claws were bad because they hurt. She knew though that she was stuck for going in now. Man why couldn't she have gone out or something earlier? She asked herself.

Tobias also lacked a spandex-esque costume, instead preferring military surplus that made him look like a rogue paintballer.

"You're on, Albel. Get ready to cough up." Tobias jumped slightly when Mystique barked at him, but recovered near-instantly. "Can do." He picked up the branch, then grabbed its other end with a heat-shimmering hand, making it burst into flames.

Aarin, on the other hand, did have spandex battlegear. What did you expect? He looked thoughtful after he heard about the opposition, and kept his voice low. "If it's a clone of Wolverine, we don't want her getting too close to us. I can slow her down if push comes to shove."

"If she breathes, I can fight her," David said, a malicious grin spreading across his features. The grin disappeared in an instant, as he pondered Mystique's words for a moment. "Wait, she? If she's a clone of a guy, then shouldn't she be a he?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, never mind. We're mutants, things aren't supposed to make sense all the time. Now where was I? Oh yeah, I remember," he said, the malicious grin returning to his face. The wind picked up ever so slightly around him, causing the "torchlight" to dance and flicker about. The shadows playing across his face lent an even more sinister look to his dark smile.

"Bored. Boredboredboredboredbored..." Morgan mumbled to himself, as he trudged around the mansion. "Gotta be something to do around here... Don't wanna go to the Danger Room, I've had enough of beating people up for today. Don't want to go to the mall, 'cause it was on fire before... Nothing to do, so boring," he thought aloud. He would settle for just randomly bumping into people at this point, because at least they might have something for him to do.

Rogue wandered through the mansion looking for something to do. She eventually found her way to the living room, and sat down on the couch. She grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. Sighing out of boredom, she began flipping channels hoping she'd find something interesting to watch. So far she'd passed twenty channels and hadn't found anything.

X-23 slowly got closer to her unwanted guests. She'd been right to assume multiple intruders, she smelled at least eight different scents. The main question was were they S.H.I.E.L.D. or not, however, she knew they weren't going to be good news. She'd spent too long running and was too careful in choosing a hiding spot for them to be ordinary campers or hikers.

As she waited, they started comming inside and, oddly enough, they were talking. That ruled out any S.H.I.E.L.D. possibilities. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents would know better than to talk while sneaking. Unless of course the object was to let her know they were comming, but once again, S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't want her to know they were comming. That would undermine any chance they had of catching her. So now, the question was who were these people and what did they want. She decided she didn't really care, and proceeded to see if she could slip past them, and out another exit. If they were dumb enough to try to stop her, she'd shred them to pieces.

Blade smiled at Xavier, starting to like him.
"Yeah, I don't think that would have gone well." She laughed softly. However, after a few seconds, she remembered the reason she was here. "So . . . this is a . . . school?"

With a big ol' smile on his face Albel approaches the mouth of the cave. "Looks like you'll be paying tonight", Albel shot at Tobias.

He stopped at the entrance of the cave and began to concentrate. Large chunks of the limestone began to crack off the cave breaking into smaller and smaller pieces until there was a cloud of finite minerals. With a smile and final push of concentration Albel sent the air-born dust rocketing into the cave, pelting into any one or anything in its way (including surrounding brotherhood members). One of his finger began to crystallize.

These pieces of rock didn't do any damage (unless it got in your eyes or other sensitive areas). They just bounced around giving Albel a rough outline of the cave and the knowledge to any "guests" the cave might house.

X-23 was rapidly approaching the cave's secondary entrance, and it was looking like she'd escape scott-free, when a strange rumbling sounded from the area where the other people were. She paused, her brows creasing as she frowned at the noise, for cave-ins weren't common around these parts. Perhaps her guests were 'x-gene positive' like herself. If that were the case, she'd be better off avoiding contact with them, for they would be of an unknown quanitity, unlike the X-men she'd just faced.

When it came to her business at the mansion, she'd been thorough in her research, and had known what to expect upon incounter. These people, however, weren't known to her and it was never wise to stand up to an unknown enemy while on the run. They just might be able to take you down.

These things passed through her mind in seconds, but by the time she resumed her course, there was a new noise. It sounded like a dust storm was howling its was through the cave. She turned around and saw the swirling particles approaching at an alarmingly fast speed. With reflexes born of years of training, she leapt behind a pillar of stone and flattened herself against it, just miliseconds before the dust blew past the spot where she'd been standing. She shut her eyes tight and shielded them with her arms, waiting for the storm to move on.
