OOC|  Jaisyn sighed as he sat down, feeling himself really relaxing more than he had in close to a year. "Family is still crazy," Jaisyn muttered under his breath.

Ren focused, clothing himself then Kara in Kryptonian armor, though Kara's had an embedded amber-gold gemstone that converted moonlight or any ambient light into yellow sunlight. He scooped up Kara in his arms and shot out of the cavern-tunnel, placing a spell that would make sure nobody else came near it until it could be safely moved.

Kasumi whined slightly at Carolyn's teasing. "Well, they have little choice but to be jealous... unless they want to share," she said wryly, seeing Carolyn's hips shift teasingly as she knew Kasumi was watching before she turned around. "Ready if you are," she purred, seeing a few of the jealous women faint as she purposely let out a burst of potent pheromones. She could smell that the women had creamed themselves, though she simply curled her arm into Carolyn's and leaned a bit against the other woman.

Maesuki chuckled as Aelina's soft voice whispered in his mind. "Good question... and one I've been trying to answer for a while with someone as adorable and beautiful as you," he breathed, licking teasingly around and behind her earlobe.

Hisuki frowned slightly. "She knows something more than she's telling, even if she doesn't realize it," he whispered to Liliana before he yawned, though he felt way too tense to get back to sleep.

OOC| Merida said as she waved her hand and food appeared on the table. "Please the two of you help yourselves. I need to go and check on a few things." She smiled at the two of them as she began to walk away. Before she left she stopped, gave Jaisyn a quick kiss on the cheek and laughed as she disappeared. Clarissa watched Merida quietly and didn't speak until after she was gone. "You're mother is...interesting," she said slowly as she began to put food on her plate. She pushed her hair back behind her ear, letting out a breath. ~~~~~ Lorelei came to a stop suddenly as Rosalyn's shot her arm out. "Oh my God," she whispered when she saw what had drawn her grandmother away. The thing was huge, and ugly. It was causing havoc, destroying things as people ran. "Well this is unfortunate," Rosalyn said as her eyes seemed to glow. She could feel Ren and the other girl getting closer. ~~~~ Carolyn smiled as she walked with Kasumi to the ticket taker. She handed it to him and gave him a wink, causing him to almost fall over as they walked past. "That never gets old," she laughed softly. ~~~~ Aelina smiled as she nuzzled his neck. "I am so nervous it's not even funny..." Her hand ran lightly over his leg and she chuckled at the way he shivered. ~~~~ "I can tell that as well." Liliana snuggled closer to Hisuki, just enjoying the feel of his arms around her. She did not want to break contact with him.

OOC| I'm open to it if you are. Jaisyn grimaced a bit at his mother's obvious amusement. "That's putting it lightly; they're... very energetic," Jaisyn sighed as he did the same.

Ren saw Kara's eyes widen in blended fear and anger. She snapped out several words, but only one made sense. It seemed to be the creature's name. "Fitting name... let's see how hard it can take a hit," he said with determination as he accelerated. A sonic boom sounded several miles from the town of Smallville; his eyes flicked to the young man who had just been backhanded by Doomsday before he saw the creature turn in extreme slow motion... seconds before his fist slammed into its face. The creature went flying through two cars, crumpling one until it was unrecognizable and taking the roof and half of the rear end off the other before it slammed into an empty propane truck that exploded. "From what Kara managed.... and I'm not quite sure of this.... this thing is ancient... and it's, in essence, a Kryptonian destroyer... what a Kryptonian could become if its body evolved out of control," he muttered to Rosalyn. He saw Kara, out of the corner of his eye, glide rapidly towards the male who had landed in a nearby store display.

Kasumi giggled a bit as she let one of her tails materialize momentarily and flicked the tip beneath the ticket taker's nose quickly, making him pass out, though nobody noticed why he'd done so. "Hmmm, seems to me that guys just can't take it.... but then, it's funny to see them try," she said with a chuckle.

Maesuki shivered as her fingers paused near his hip for a few seconds. "What makes you think that I'm even close to calm? I'm probably more nervous than you are," he breathed, shuddering slightly as he heard her very softly inhale. "What, do I smell good or something?" he whispered, a bit amused although he didn't realize that, to her, he actually did.

Hisuki shivered ever so slightly as Liliana shifted closer to him. "I've actually never... been close to someone like this," he whispered to Liliana with a soft sigh, noticing absently her hair smelled quite nice.

OOC| Jaisyn exhaled as he started eating. "Damn... seems like every time I eat food made by my family... extended and blood-related... it gets better... sometimes I wonder if they are trying to make it addicting... or it simply is for the sheer talent," Jaisyn muttered wryly.

Ren saw the creature step out of the burning tanker truck, only small scorch marks giving away its injuries along with shallow cuts. "Huh, I was hoping it wouldn't fall that easily," he said with a chuckle as he exhaled slowly.

Kasumi giggled as her gaze flicked up to find the theater they were looking for to be the fourth on the left from the start of the hall.

Hisuki glanced towards Yuèlià as he shifted a bit, somewhat surprised as Liliana snuggled closer to him."I have the feeling... that that memory-nightmare... and perhaps... this person she's looking for are most certainly related... though I do wonder why that guy with the swirling eyes seemed so interested in me," he whispered to Liliana, referring to Kyos.

OOC| Clarissa took a bite of the food, a sigh escaping from between her lips. She had never tasted anything so good in her life, and the person who cooked for her father was supposed to be one of the best. "This is really good," she said softly. ~~~~~ "That has got to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life." Lorelei said as she moved her head, causing her neck to pop. "And we have seen some pretty damned ugly things." Rosalyn glanced over at her son. "Then it shall be destroyed." Her eyes flared as she turned back to face the monster. No way in hell was this thing going to get near Ren or any of the others. ~~~~ Carolyn giggled as they went into the theater that their movie was showing in. She and Kasumi sat in the back of the theater, away from most of the others who were sitting closer to the front. "It is so funny to see them try...especially when we only have eyes for each other."~~~~
"Kyos is interested in a lot of things. We can ask him later." Liliana said softly. She smiled a little at his admission. "I've...never let anyone hold me like this before."

OOC| Jaisyn shrugged. "I still haven't forgotten that time I was helping my godparents in their restaurant.... and that Masterchef guy walked in... said that he'd heard the food was delicious and was interested in trying some," Jaisyn muttered wryly; he couldn't remember that chef's name though.

Ren shot forward at high speed, his foot pressing on the asphalt a single time. He wasn't surprised that Kara shoulder rammed Doomsday from behind as he smashed a brutal uppercut into the larger creature's chin, launching him close to four stories straight upward.

Kasumi purposely swatted Carolyn's rear with a hand, seeing a couple of people turn at Carolyn's involuntary yelp.

OOC| Clarissa looked at Jaisyn with surprise. "Ramsey? Gordon Ramsey?" Somehow she knew that's who he was speaking about. She had met the man several times, and knew that he came to the states often. ~~~ Even as the monster was shot up into the air, Rosalyn suddenly appeared above him. An unseen force slammed him back to the ground, creating a large crater. Lorelei create a barrier between them and anybody else who came along. It was sound proof, and see through proof. People would just be redirected without even realizing it. ~~~~ Carolyn laughed and blew a kiss at the people who had turned at the yelp she had made. They all flushed and turned away, causing her to chuckle again as she settled down in her seat. ~~~~ Liliana sighed softly as she just sat there with Hisuki. It was funny how this seemed so right to her. "I don't know if I want to try and sleep again." She did not want to feel that evil presence again so soon.

OOC| Jaisyn blinked, recognition flickering in his eyes. "I think that was his name; I'm lousy with remembering names, but faces and shows that someone's related to... I remember decently," Jaisyn muttered with a slight blush.

Ren smirked slightly, though he leaned his head slightly to the side as a large chunk of asphalt shot past his head as Doomsday surfaced before he blinked, noticing something odd: a shard of black crystal sticking out of its right collarbone. "Huh, didn't know Kryptonite came in colors other than green or red," he whispered. His body swayed to the side, twisting fluidly as Doomsday's fist narrowly missed him before he caught the large bestial creature's arm and flipped it.... squarely onto its head. Unfortunately it only seemed to anger the beast. He grunted as it punched him in the chest and sent him flying, rolling through the landing as he saw Kara checking over the raven haired guy that Doomsday had been focused on before she looked his way with a short nod.

Kasumi chuckled as she settled in her seat, lifting the arm of the seat deliberately. "It's funny how people can react when they find two people who love one another... regardless of what tradition or religion claims," she said throatily in a low voice. She saw Carolyn shiver, well aware she found that particular tone highly sexy.

Hisuki chuckled slightly. "Sometimes I wonder how... I can operate so normally with... that in my mind... something that dark...." he sighed softly, lightly rubbing Liliana's shoulders. He wasn't sure how to occupy himself, but after that... every time... he had trouble getting back to sleep and tended to find things to do, sometimes things that most people would have found odd.

OOC| Clarissa said slowly as she glanced over at Jaisyn. She had finished eating, pushing the plate aside. Finally she took a good look around the kitchen. It was huge and very clean. ~~~~~ Lorelei hissed as the creature hit Ren. Her eyes began to glow as ebony black wings sprouted from her back. Several tails whipped out behind her; she didn't even feel the pain of them coming out. She had never shown characteristics from both sides of her family. So far it had only been the demon side. "I hate when people hurt my family..." Her voice seemed to echo, bouncing off the barrier she had created. Rosalyn stopped when she felt the raw power coming her granddaughter. She knew she had the potential for great power, but never anything like this. ~~~~ Carolyn's whole body shivered when Kasumi spoke. That voice..it always got to her. She snuggled close to her lover, kissing her neck lightly. "They are just jealous."
~~~~ Liliana's eyes closed as Hisuki rubbed her shoulders. It felt really good as the tension began to fade away. "We all have things on our mind that we often ask ourselves how we live with it...We just have to think about the things that make us happy."

OOC| Jaisyn blushed slightly as Clarissa spoke. "His face is distinctive... though he was remarkably... normal, for whom many considered a celebrity," Jaisyn said quietly as he tugged out a scroll no thicker than his thumb, a bit more than a half inch thick. He flicked it open with a practiced flick of his fingers and revealed several kanji before tapping one and releasing a steaming plate that held two fillets of salmon which held a fine layer of light golden-amber color from the fine layer of red chili powder and brown sugar. The sauce beneath it was a deep, semitranslucent bronze-tawny color from the Sémillon wine-cashew sauce that held a spiraling swirl of honey underneath.

Ren smirked as he tilted his head thoughtfully, seeing Lorelei's reaction to the blow. "My aunt hits harder than you, Doomsday... If you want to get put down... Well... we'll be happy to do it," he said with a faint smirk. He heard Kara giggle as Kal looked flabbergasted. His gaze flickered to the other male before he inhaled and exhaled a blast of air that made the Arctic look warm, encasing Doomsday in mid-step in two inches of ice. Fine cracks, barely visible to the naked eye, warned him it wouldn't hold the destructive creature for long. "If we could transport him to deep space, far from any planet, it'll be enough to give Kal and ourselves to get stronger as Kryptonians... and I've been working on a little something that'll blow your minds," he whispered to Lorelei and Rosalyn both.

Kasumi shivered slightly as Carolyn's lips brushed her throat. "They should be... we're the ultimate case of 'look but can't touch' unless someone were able to convince us both to accept them... and that won't be easy," she murmured with a soft chuckle.

She had been doing good about hiding her distinctive Irish accent, but it slipped for just a moment. ~~~~ "It would be my pleasure..." Lorelei smirked as she held out her hand. She saw her grandmother coming towards her, but before the older woman could do anything a large sphere of darkness surrounded Doomsday. And in a flash he was gone, very far away from them. When she lowered her hand she stumbled, shaking her head as her hand touched it. She sank to her knees with a small gasp. "That ...hurts."Rosalyn knelt down next to Lorelei, touching her beloved granddaughter's shoulder. "Too much power. You used too much that you are not used to having." She looked up to Ren. "She needs rest."~~~~~ "I don't share well with others," Carolyn whispered against Kasumi's ear, nipping at it lightly. The lights had dimmed and the previews for the movie started. ~~~~ "Hmm, I will help you." Liliana sighed softly as she leaned back against Hisuki a little. "Whatever it takes to get your mind off of whatever dark things you witness." A smile tugged at her lips. "Everyone deserves a little bit of happiness, don't you think?"

OOC| Jaisyn blinked at Clarissa's accent, but tactfully didn't comment on it. "Kind of a family trick... it kinda 'freezes time' when you store something... so if it's hot when you put it in... it'll be hot when you take it out. As for the fish.. caught them before I came back here... the recipe... was one I've been tweaking for a while, but you're the first to see the finished product," Jaisyn said shyly.

Ren caught Lorelei as she sank to her knees. "Right. I'll get her to the safehouse, then go get the dinner we had planned... to go," he said. He exhaled softly as his hand darted into his pocket and lobbed Rosalyn something; he knew it would startle her, though he knew that even if someone managed to steal it, reverse engineering it was next to impossible. It was much like a satellite phone, yet it could tap into virtually any cell phone network freely and had close to two months on a single battery charge where most cell phones were lucky to manage just over a week. Unlike many cell phones, it wouldn't lose the signal even in tunnels or distantly from cell phone towers.

Kasumi purred deep in her throat softly, amused. "Just what I am saying... I'm a one woman girl... and I have the hottest witch I could find," she teased with a slight shiver.

Hisuki paused, a bit surprised as she leaned against him. "I guess so... though I have to admit... you doing this is... taking my mind off that... dark entity... though...," he murmured before he paused suddenly, getting a sudden jolt of vertigo as he unintentionally jerked back slightly; he suddenly smelled rain, burning rubber, and the strong stench of gasoline. As soon as he realized what it was, the sensation passed, though he couldn't put his finger on why it felt.... almost real.

OOC| Clarissa smiled a little. "Well I am honored that I am the first one to see the finished product." She looked away from him and rubbed her eyes. "This is all...so strange. I've had to learn everything on my own. My mother told me about all of this...on her deathbed. I don't even know if my father knows." And surely he didn't or he would have used her mother and her for his own purposes. ~~~~ Rosalyn caught the phone and nodded her head. "I'll take care of the mess here." She touched her granddaughter's face. "You get some rest. We will talk more when you are better."Lorelei held onto Ren's arms as he caught her. Oh she really did not like this feeling at all. Sure she loved him holding her, but not because she felt so weak. Her gaze went to her grandmother and she nodded, smiling slightly. "Okay."~~~~~ "Really? I thought it was my honor to have the hottest, sexy woman alive on the planet." Carolyn's hand trailed lightly over Kasumi's leg, and she grinned at the way she shivered. ~~~~ Liliana was about to speak when she felt Hisuki jerk back. She turned to look at him, a frown on her face. "What's wrong?" She reached forward and touched his face lightly. She blinked when she felt a small shot of electricity pass between the two of them.

OOC| Jaisyn noticed a little bit of peach cobbler clinging to the corner of Clarissa's mouth. "You can try it if you're still hungry, I don't mind.... though you have a bit of peach cobbler on the corner of your mouth," Jaisyn said shyly.

Ren lifted Lorelei in his arms. "Don't be surprised if you hear about a new tech company," he said with a chuckle, seeing a confused look at his words before he pushed off very lightly with his feet and shot skyward at high speed, instinctively projecting his aura to shield Lorelei; he wasn't surprised to see Kara join him. He saw Kal heading back to what he realized was a farm. "So Kal was found and raised by a good family," he noticed.

Kasumi barely held back a soft moan. "Keep this up, and I may forget the movie," she teased with a slight shiver.

Hisuki exhaled softly as he blinked, seeing Liliana's concerned face. "I don't know... it was more smells than memories... but it made me think of an accident... in the rain," he murmured. "Damn, she's beautiful when she's concerned... which says a lot when I haven't been able to take my eyes off of her," he thought, forgetting about her telepathy.

OOC| Clarissa flushed as she reached up and wiped the bit of cobbler from the corner of her mouth. "Thank you," she said softly. After a moment she moved her chair a little closer to Jaisyn. "I would like to try it," she said with a nod of her head. It still amazed her at how generous these people were. ~~~~~ Lorelei held on tightly to Ren as they shot up into the air. She sighed as she buried her face against his chest. "I don't like this feeling....so weak." She knew that Kara was following them so she spoke to Ren so only he would hear her. ~~~~~
"Aww, honey..I just want to see how long you can hold on." Carolyn laughed softly as her hand trailed to Kasumi's inner thigh. She could not seem to keep her hands off of her. ~~~~~ Liliana's cheeks flushed as she looked down at her hands. "I'm just...me. Nothing special." She had never really admired her looks although plenty of people had told her she was beautiful.
