Though it was with ease that the Swinub would avoid the attack as she would lower her head to match. But instead of charging forward she would give a small flush of power that came out like a wave of smoke or a cloud of snow considering the weather.
IT's purpose was to harm and freeze quite solid.

Tyson watched as Deino didnt hit the Swinub and then the Swinub went straight into a attaqck as soon as it missed. Tyson looked worried but Deino knew to try and jump out of the way of the move.

The Secret power would miss as it .....froze over the bit of stone that stood out from the ground. The Swinub could see that she was losing ground and quickly ....as she settles her feet into the soil. She was the only one to have injured so far, but how long could this game of dodge continued before ....she was harmed. She didn't know, but it made sense to her at the moment to simply defend herself for the time being.

Tyson watched on as his Deino was able to dodge the attack again, maybe this was the point, that turned the tides, he hoped. "Earth Power!" He shouted at Deino. Deino nodded his head got into his stance and started to shake the earth around the Swinub, for a attack.

The ball rolled once. Twice.
And with a collective held breath, it fell for a third time, then fell silent entirely.
All that work... the Spinarak's life, the damage Burnout had taken, now barely afloat, all of it, for what?
Was it worth all the sacrifices of waiting around?
As Jasmine stepped forward, she went to pick up the ball... but then she noticed the item beside it, small, cylindrical... there was no way she could say the prize justified the risks, the losses it had cost them or the Spinarak, but she couldn't stop herself at least from recognising small victories.
She found it. The Cell Battery!
One debt down, several dozen to go.
And with that, she gripped the ball as well, holding it aloft... As well as the battery... "We caught ourselves a Skarmory!"
[And you didn't even have to punch it...] Burnout let out with a puff of smoke from the top of his lantern.
Jasmine just grinned, while she couldn't get the pokémon's insult, she could get the feeling of his tiredness and his non-enthusiasm, as she clipped the ball to her belt...
"Ironclaw. Welcome to the team. We'll talk later."
She reached and as she pocketed the battery, went to Burnout's ball, picking the upside down ball out and targeting the Lampent, "Burnout, you come on back too."
For once, the former Arcanine didn't argue, broken down into red energy and returned where it was safe, at least until Jasmine could fix matters... Which it seemed she was quick upon settling, as she then reached for another ball, throwing the nurse forward. "Nightingale, out you come!"
And there, the Happiny appeared with a scowl on her face. [You know, I'm still not crazy on the name...]
"I need to borrow your skills once more, your Aromatherapy?"
~~~~~~~~
Time passed enough, as the air swirled and healing herbs flew through the air, passing around Jasmine, Nightingale, and most importantly, Ironclaw's new pokéball, almost causing it to glow as the energy penetrated within, as burns would heal and pain would be soothed.
Now, the Happiny would sigh. [Done.]
And she looked over at Jasmine, the girl has busied herself all throughout, on the ground, now a small mound lay, the remains - or what was left of the remains - of the Spinarak now buried beneath, with a single coin placed atop the pile, Jasmine clapped her hands once more in preyer.
She would never know the true pain she had caused the little one, but she could only hope a proper burial was at least something she could offer.
She looked back at the expectant Happiny, nodding to her. "Thanks again for all the help... I'll speak to you again when ti's calmer, okay?"
[Doesn't much matter what I say, now, does it?] Nightingale folded her hands even as she was recalled, pulled into the pokéball by Jasmine.
And now, Jasmine was alone, aside her thoughts, as she looked at the last item she had to use.
A potion.
A single potion... with a full squad of fighters who needed it, only a single one of her team was in fighting shape, as she took that pokéball now, and a feline form emerged.
"Nice to see you again, Claudandas." She grinned, looking to the cat who bobbed head in return, edging up aside her leg and rubbing gently.
"But now, I have to think... if it's possible to split a potion..."
The potion was a spray... if she used half of it on one pokémon... then the rest on another... instead of healing 20 damage, could she heal 10 on each... of course, she could just use the spray and it wouldn't stop being used, as she clipped it to Lindbergh's pokéball, the nozzle clamping onto the button.
She pulled the spray, and hoped she could try her theory right.... she had to stop it halfway... leave enough for another pokémon to use!
((Wheee... been a while~))
Suzaku would meet that Sandshrew attack with her own ...as her wings were spread and she sent out a spray of wind towards her opponent. The wind was meant to cut him down ...as the Ominous heavy feel of it ...would be the only clue of his impeding doom.
A huge glare was on her face. She wasn't going to be stopped again.
For the first attack, he would be sent on his rump. The pain something so acute that he would have screamed if he had the voice to do so ...as he landed in a clump on the desert sands.
HE had been cut into pieces by that attack. His body nestled into the sands as he got up slowly. Even if he had been injured ...he wasn't going to give up ..not yet as he would charge forward with his claws out towards the metal bird. HE was going to cut her ...in the very least.
Though her theory was right it would seem ....that there was one thing that wasn't in her calculations and the was the amount of force in that spray. The moment that she did ...it would be a big blast of the stuff that came out ...and even though her finger released it wouldn't stop spraying until the entire contents were gone.
Used on a single pokemon ....as it would seem that there had been some adjustments made over time to the item. Probably to reduce the time it took to heal a pokemon due to the dark event of the past. A faster spray meant that a pokemon was able to get back into the fight quicker, and the bigger blast covers more wounds quickly instead of trying to adjust the angle to get one wound after the other.
In a matter of seconds, she had used her potion and it would seem that there wasn't about to be another chance to heal another pokemon with the same item.
It was a shallow hit ....as the Swinub was thrown backwards. Rolling head over tail ...as she lands in the snow ...as she gets up slowly shaking her long hairs to loose some of it. The earth attack was powerful, but the snow kept the blows to a minimal as she would start forward again with her own attack. A charge forward at a run this time ....as she shifts towards her target with a eyes narrowed.
She was going to send that dragon down the mountain quite literally..with a push
Once the clamp came undone, she looked at the mix and frowned, used up, all in one go... She sighed, but wouldn't cry over spilled potion.
Now she had two fully healed team members... one of whom couldn't even scratch her intended target, as she'd look down to the still unbidden Claudandas... and maybe more habit than anything reached down and scratched between his ears, smiling a little...
She'd managed this before with just both of them... "Maybe it's a sign... back to basics... but I think it's time we moved on."
She looked back at the crater, desolate as it was... and all the things it had cost her and her team, it seemed now was the best time to leave, as she straightened her stance on her crutch, and turned back, looking to follow the path to the wide pond she remembered that first time before...
With that movement, she would take her final steps from the crater and into the area known only as the Void. It was time for her to face her fate at last here.
Island Center - Void
In the center of the island ...one would expect to find trees, rocks, or maybe an plain, but in the center of this island ....one would find water. Like someone had taken a huge cookie cutter, and cut the center of the island out ...to leave nothing but ocean in it's wake. This is the place called the Void. A huge expansion of water that is so big that one couldn't in ten days walk around it all. Though, like the majority of this island, the center is quite weird. In the midst of the water are stones that one could jump upon like stepping stones that go towards the middle of that watery area. Then there are the rocks that float in the area above it. Stones that are the size of small cars floating above arching in a pattern that one could only say ....goes towards the heavens. How far those stones may go, only someone brave enough would dare to try and figure out. Then there under the water, the water so dark and murky that one couldn't help wondering what is underneath it.
Though there is rumors that under the water ...the truth of what happen to this island rest. This is the area of the void, and the trainer must choose which way to go up, straight, or down. Three paths .....with only one easily accessible.
((Pick your path, and any rolls from 11 -20 will be an encounter. Also a roll of a 1 will be a surprise encounter))
The Skarmory in question ....saw the attack coming and would draw her wings in front of her in a typical defensive formation. The tips of metal would touch each other ...as she let them meet in her own defense. Eyes narrowed ...even as she saw him coming toward her ...her claws dug into the earth a mirror or what he had done before.
She was going to take his attack and then ...turn it back against him.
The attack would bounce off of her skin ......as the sandshrew lands heavily on the ground. His eyes would shake with that lost ....as he lands on one foot heavily and then would draw up his paws in a defensive stance as the other foot hit. He had failed ...her hide was too strong as he realized the only reason he was still standing so far ...was the fact that she was using ...special attacks instead of a skarmory's strength physical attacks.
THat she didn't use any moves of her type ..helped as well ....as he tries to take a deep breathe to keep himself calm.
This wasn't going to end well.
He was right as the bird moves swiftly ...the moment that both feet had hit the ground. She had come at a charge ...a strange shine in her eyes ...as she would drive both of those metal wings down at him. An attack that should have been a wing attack ...but something was strange as she would send her wings down but stop them inches from her intended target .....as something would howl behind her. A power would glow in her eyes ...a ghostly power as an after image of herself would finish what she started. Those wings would cut through her target ...as the ominous winds howls and it wouldn't stop there ...it would slash through him those claws....as it carved a path that would bring them upwards ...and then downwards again. The cut would slice him from head to foot, and then from shoulder to his other foot in an ghostly X mark would flash that would slowly die away to nothing.
The other Skarmory would vanish as the Ominous winds died down to nothing.
After all of those defeat, the true potential of that attack would come to the forefront.
The damage would become real at that moment ...if there was any damage at all.
