[Galestar blinked warmly as Serpentpaw ran up to him, but at the mention of BloodClan, he froze. He gazed blankly at Serpent, then at the cat she had brought over. Galestar flicked his ears.]
"Serpenptpaw-you must remember that this is your name now, by the way-, you don't seem to understand who BloodClan is," Galestar said casually. "They are a murderous group of rouges who brutally harm their own Clanmates to force them into submission. They don't even believe in StarClan. And on top of it, they tried to completely destroy and run out all of the Clans in a attempt to take over our old territory.
And, despite all of this, you two wish me to casually let a member of said Clan into our humble home?"
[Galestar looked at the cats amusedly. Three cats, all begging like children, even the BloodClan warrior. He snorted.]
"It will take. A lot more. To convince me." he said loudly and firmly to be heard over the pweeeeezing cats, shaking his head.

Wavepelt just kept continuing with his asking of "pweez" to Galestar. He even added a very slight frown after he started asking her. I want her to join the clan, we could all be friends that way!"-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-".

[Galestar's calm exterior faltered, and worry shined through.]
"Serpentpaw," he said, "-and Wavepelt, stop that-this isn't the same. She's been trained to be an emotionless killer who only obeys her master's will. I just can't let that sort of cat into this Clan, especially not after we've been doing so well. And I'm certainly not allowing it as a favor to you two. You are my friends, yes, but letting a dangerous killer into the Clan won't be a mistake I am willing to make willy-nilly. I've made enough mistakes that led to the death of our previous leader, medicine cat, and a noble warrior, and drove another loved warrior from our home. I can't afford to make those mistakes again. Not this time."
[His eyes were hard. He shook his head.]
"She can stay for the night to get her bearings, but after that, she leaves. She should go to NightClan. They aren't hot about rouges but they'll welcome a hardened warrior like her with open arms."
[He eyed the dog tooth the she-cat was carrying with caution. Shaking his head, he turned and began to pad away.]
(( It's not final. It'll just take a lot to convince Galestar. He's still beating himself up for what happened in the past. :C ))

Wavepelt frowned deeply "is the entire forest ruled by assumptions?! Nightclan are all cold hearted, all cats of Bloodclan are deadly killers, who will go mad at any moment". He looked at Galestar "we just can't assume things, surely there's a way for her to prove herself right?!"

[Serpentpaw pulled at his tail. tearing up.] "...Serpent understands making mistakes. she has made many on her own... but for her they were worth it. Serpent has been keeping a secret. she was not captured. she crossed the 2 legs fence, into the forbidden land... to rescue a small 2 leg. that is how she was captured. Now Serpent will never see her family again, but she is not sad, the 2 leg survived. Serpent wants to be the family the lost and forgotten no longer have. that is her greatest wish... pleas Galestar, surly you feel the same. Years ago Serpent would have let the 2 leg die a lonely death, but she didnt. she had a change of heart, what makes you think bluepaw hasn't changed too?... We cant let her go to nightclan... they are not the right family for her."

"As a leader, it's my duty to assume!" he hissed at Wavepelt, suddenly and instantly angry. "If I assumed that every cat who waltzed into this camp had good intentions, we'd cumble to the ground!"
[His nostrils flared as he stood, looking twice his size with his fur fluffed out.]
"I have to think of the safety of the Clan. You have to understand that, otherwise you have learned nothing as a warrior of BreezeClan, Wavepelt! You proved yourself to me long ago, but she must do the same. Besides, you don't really understand the horrors BloodClan reigned upon us. We can never forget that, even generations later."
[Turning to Serpent, Galestar's gaze softened, but remained firm.]
"I led you here because I knew you were good, Serpentpaw. The fact that you were taken by twolegs assured me that you had a life, somewhere. Besides, I knew you were hiding something. You're too compassionate to be a threat."
[He turned to all of the cats, shaking his head.]
"No. I cannot afford letting a BloodClan cat into the Clan. I doubt she can prove herself in a day.
Besides! You two just met her! You have no idea where she's come from or what she's done! You can't just trust a cat the minute they tell you their name, and especially don't bring them to the Clan before knowing for sure that they're safe!"
[Galestar's eyes flashed.]
"This discussion is over," he snarled. "She will leave in a day, after the sun rises. And that is final."
[He stalked off, not wanting to talk more about it. The image of Willowstar's and Berryblaze's stiff corpses replayed in his mind, and fresh horror rippled through the leader as he retreated to the leader's den.]

She will prove to you Galestar. she will..." [She looked over to Waveplet, trying to smile.] "Everything will turn out fine... He, he is just troubled. Serpent is sure that when he sees bluepelt's goodness he will let her stay.]
