6) " Yes I would love to have lunch with you!. I will put the food in your room right away." Akiyo said as she bowed and walked to the kitchen. I can't believe that i'm actually eating lunch with a giesha. Such a beautiful one at that.

[14] `Kaze woke from her pallet and looked about. The sun was shining though the spilts in the window curtains, warm and encouraging. She smiled slightly to herself and sat up, stretching gingerly, before she moved to gather her robes for the day. [/14]

akino woke up slowly after being asleep.
im glad kaze and i were able to find our sleeping quarters.
akino put her kimono on, and her slippers and proceeded to the main hallway where she would hopefully meet Kaze.

[15] `Kaze smiled up in greeting at her friend. "Mornings greetings!" she said, giving a small bow. She calmly admired Akino's kimono. "I trust you slept well?" she added, lifting her hands to pull her hair back into a cord. [/15]

She paused and batted her eyes at the Akiyo, who went off to the kitchen to bring up the food to her room. "How is that . . .? Yokome-san, where did you go?" Iyasu called out.

akino smiled and her eyes glittered with the thought of becoming one step closer o becoming a geisha.

Kioku sat there and studied the wall. There was nothing here that was her business, and she allowed herself to drift off a bit, hoping that she wasnt in anybody's way.

"im not sure, but there was a beautiful geisha i have seen walking around. she seems very nice. i hope she is looking for an apprentice.

7) Akyio went to the kitchen and gathered the food. She quickly took it to Iyasu-sama's room. There all done! i hope she likes how i've agranged the food for her. I'm so happy she has let me eat lunch with her even though i'm just a maid. For the first time in a long time Akyio was happy and looking forward to the future. She quickly got up and went to find Iyasu-sama and the other geisha and makio she had invited to eat lunch with.

Reijin watched idly as Akiyo went about her work. It seems so long ago that I too was a maid here, and Iyasu-sama welcomed me into the okiya. Smiling softly at the memory, she looked past Iyasu through a window. These new maids will soon be maiko. And soon, I hope, I will be choosing among them for apprentices of my own. Time goes by quickly.
Turning her attention back to her present company, she nodded towards the approaching maid.
