after maybe and hour or two Nathanael jumped up to a sitting position. just to make sure and check he snapped his fingers...nothing. no spark nothing. he tried everything and none of his powers responded. he even stabbed his left leg and tried healing it...nothing. so he tore off part of his jacket and tied it tightly around the wound as it stung

"sorry. i just had to see if what i expected was true. im powerless. but the reason i was able to heal her that much is because i've spent well over 500,000 years learning and training to heal. all the power i put into healing her could grow 100 ft tall trees all over the entire world 10 times over." he looked over at her and saw it didnt do much all over and sighed heavily

"actually im different then most. if i dont eat around three hundred pounds of food or drink around 10 gallons of liqour my body shuts down and any my body goes cold unwillingly. my body never goes colder that 200 unless im fighting and right now its mortal temperature of 98"

Zeiphyr couldn't react in time, he was too busy staring at his face. Her face came clear as that rainy night. In his mind, memories flooded back to him. "Enough!" He said as he blocked them out. "It's rude to enter before knocking." he said, one hand on his hips, the other shaking a finger at Zarrius.
