nariko: Did you actually sign the registry? If you did, then I can challenge you and I'll duel you while giving you instructions, so you can get a feel for it.
meatball: I didn't mind so much that we were reprimanded, because they weren't mean or anything. I just minded because older members who must have known they weren't RP threads had been doing it as well and then when they vanished it was me and the other new girl who got the rap for it.

I probably won't be on too much this week. My cousin that I haven't seen in years is visiting. Guess what? He's prejudiced against non-straight people, too! evil As if dealing with my dad wasn't already bad enough... rolleyes

Hey Min, I just stopped by the banners thread and I noticed something.
There is a post with banners made by you, but there's one on there that I'm pretty sure I made. It's the one with Lily and James in PPG form at their wedding and it says Gryff guys always get the girl. I think I made that one for house pride month... I could be wrong, but I do remember searching the internet for an image to use for that phrase, if you did make it the great minds think alike I guess....

Scottybears: No, I did not sign in the registry. I was just looking at it to see if it was something I would want to do in this guild, and so I read the rules first. And got completely confused. So I thought I would maybe have someone explain them to me before I sign up.

There's really no simple way to explain it, the way that is easiest to figure it out is by being in a duel. I learned by dueling Grey Gardens and she told me what to do when I had a question. I'm currently dueling meatball15, another new member, and explaining the process as we go. If you want to wait until we get into it and then look over our duel, that might help. Or you can join, and we can duel, and if you don't like it I'll take you off the members list.

Hey there everyone! I'm new to the guild, and I just thought I would come in to introduce myself. People usually call me Angel here on Gaia, but I'm open to any other nicknames. =D Is anyone else going to the Half-Blood Prince midnight showing in theaters? Me and my friends are going, and we're pretty excited.
Well, anyways, I just wanted to say hello, and it's great to be a part of the guild! I guess I'll see you all around.

My friend is dragging me to the midnight showing.
If you need any help getting accimilated into the guild let me know, I can point you to some of the cool games and conversations.

What do you do in the Dueling Club? Is it Roleplay fighting, or what?
Also, where do you think I should go to meet new people? Should I just continue to post here in the Great Hall? Thank you for being so helpful!

Angel: Yes, DC is roleplay fighting. It seems really complicated at first, but most people find it fairly simple once they figure it out. I used to think it was insanely complicated, but now I'm a captain! It's a fun way to socialize in the guild, and it also helps you rack up post numbers so you can move up in years.
Meeting new people in the Haven is pretty easy. The best threads for it are the GH and your common room because they are conversational threads where you can talk to people about anything. You can also participate in conversations and debates, such as one of the threads I put up, Can muggles use magical objects? or any of the threads that are covering the HP items. Then there are the game threads, such as The Harry Potter Tektek game.
Nessie, all of that goes for you too. Feel free to post on any of the non-stickied threads and in the GH and the Common Room.
If either of you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I would be happy to help.
