Sodain smirked when got hit in the head with a shield flying off the wall. "Put out that shadow flame you darn fool! Even with this place hidden a spell like that can be felt from outside by others and we need to tread carefully." Asaru yelled at Sodain as the flame flickered out as he reached up rubbing his head. "Hey gramps you didn't have to hit my with that shield!" Sodain snapped back giving him the stink eye. "You are right on both accounts right now I have permission from a previous time to enter. But I also have a little bit of shadow magic myself. But I am also sort of a guardian of the shadow clan so even if I lost my shadow abilities somehow I still would be able to just walk right in. I actually trained here with that girl Silvia I spoke about before over 500,000 years ago.

But I am a guardian of more then the shadow clan I feel more at ease with having a lot of things to do and so have taken up being a guardian to many things." He says softly.

Kalista smirked. "Oh no i'm sorry but I am not needing information from you. No instead I think I will keep you around just to torment be a bad day reliever so to speak. And sadly you can try to take me to the world of the dead." She said her face distorting a little kind of demonically turning to look younger. "But I am afraid that world just does not want to accept me. I visited it several times but I always get kicked out." She said taking a knife and cutting at her throat as a black energy flows out of the cut closing the wound with a hissing sound leaving no blood or scar behind.

"I actually was put to a guillotine and had my head taken clean off. Yet even when I accepted my dead and felt my head come off. I opened my eyes still looking up from the basket my head landed in screaming because I was still alive. you should have seen the panic when that happened, specially when I calmed down and just thought of going over pucking my head up placing it back on my neck Which it was mended just as that cut was. The town well Kilamara fortress wound up becoming a ghost town just because of that happening." She said laughing a bit watching Kala.

Sodain huffed a bit. "I had not forgotten that. Perhaps I wanted someone to sense it, Someone who knew of this place, someone who isn't all that nice after all there are many traitors that turned on the clan then just the one, people who still live from the corruption ibn their hearts giving into the darker side of shadow magic. So I could demonstrate some advantages of having full control of ones shadow powers." Sodain said looking devious out the corner of his eye.

"Like the shadow user that attacked our new clan head at a museum who needs taught what her powers are supposed to be used for. Protecting others at the risk of ones own life but not needing to fear losing it with enough skill to survive the attacks, protect those who are targeted and possibly even purify their hatred towards a certain person they want to kill from things that happened so long ago hurting or taking it out on this generation being just wrong." Sodain said calmly so calm it sounded eerie specially when he made a deep rumbling purr with his voice. "Though unfortunately my concentration was broken before it would have been sensed by anyone." He said sounding grumpy.

Sodain got up and walked off towards a doorway that looked to have a plate knife and fork emblem above it. "Oh yes by the way if your hungry I do have some stew cooking here in the kitchen.... though if you come to serve yourself avoid anything that has an odd glow that is being cooked. That is a special dish for the three transcended ones. Though I don't know why I should bother cooking food for some of them due to how they treat me." Sodain said shooting a look to the cloud that was Asaru coldly.

"After all I used to cook for royalty, have access to the worlds best flavored recipes that would shame the golden chefs of the super high end costing restaurants that people claim the flavor is fit to make any god like being pleased for the flavor being so good it was fit fore a god take like rotten horse manure." Sodain said coldly before disappearing into the archway Asaru manifested looking to be drooling from the thought of decent food.

But only manifesting after Sodain left to not give him the satisfaction. Oh great goddesses..... I forgot how he cooks, its been sooo long...." Asaru said wiping the drool from his mouth a bit then thought seeing Leesha walkin with a bowl of mint green something taking a bite of it. "Mmm, Mintialia stew of the divines my favorite." She said smirking at Asaru sitting down the smell wafting from it smelling better than anything anyone could imagine. Though it had a creepy glow that would make anyone not a spirit like being weary of tasting it.

Sodain walked out with a tray with three bowls a box of crackers and spoons these bowls held no glow as he placed the tray down on the table next to Ryo and Sil as he took a bowel of steaming stew and a handful of crackers and spoon as another dray floated in behind him and he took a glass from it of an odd color liquid as the two identical cups just held ice chunks and a pitcher of a golden liquid being lemonaid. But the pitcher smaller then the one with lemon-aid with the odd colored liquid like the one glass Sodain took looked oddly like it had a blood red tint near the spout which as Sodain sat on the thick stone throne like chair though it made odd noises of being stressed as he sat. the pitcher of the odd liquid floated up towards him resting on a small stone slab next to the throne.

Arasu opened is mouth in protest but instead turned into a cloud zipping towards the kitchen. as a bowl floated in only with him manifesting as it sat down on a table behind Sodain's view to not give him satisfaction that arasu kept his mouth shut for once preferring to eat. Sodain crushed the crackers into his stew and stirred it as he spoke. "Yes while those three don't require sustenance to survive the food I make for them is a way of showing respect to them. Also it helps them as you see the trouble Asaru has remaining manifested for very long, The more more they use their energy the more ghost like they become. This food made for them restores their energy enabling them to manifest longer and more solidly. As well as letting the distance of their telepathic messages grow and the messages strengthen. I am sure had Arasu had such food before he tried contacting you mentally at the museum you would have clearly heard him." Sodain said looking to both Ryo and Sil.

"Though as it was he didn't eat before so only ones with spasming fluxuating shadow powers might had faintly heard a whisper." Leesha said looking to glow slightly before the cushion she sat on started shifting as if a non-transcended person sat on it and looked more solid unable to see the flickering flame through her. "Though he tried to tell you and show you the way here before that woman attacked you. He also tried showing Ryo but was too weak to even appear to be a whisper on the wind." She added taking another bite of the glowing food she had.

Kalista looked up off to a blank wall a moment then looked to Kala. "Oh? and whom is it you think would be a better prize than you little shadow princess?" She said cooing slightly watching her as she pulled out the ancient roll of torture tools of the shadow clan loosening one that looked to be a torture under the nail scraper. Than took something looking like pliers with a spike on one side of the pliers head looking out of the corner of her eyes at Kalla. "I am listening to you Kalla but I prefer torturing your twin Kala than you." She said softly playing now with a dagger that had a spiraling blade looking to drill chunks of tissue slowly and painfully from someone.

Sodain sighed a little. "Well A member of one of the past head shadow clan members had a daughter with a beast. and a daughter with a human. both held exceptional powers of shadow. But the beast child hybred seen her human half sister as stealing the light of praise from her, Holding a grudge against her father and half sister, she seen everyone as mocking her, believing that because her mother was a beast and she a half beast that the human half sister was seen as not being able to do wrong, and the favored child of their father made her and her twin sister very cross. One of them turned on the clan stabbing their father in the back trying to blame it on the human half sister.

When that plan failed they attacked the clan murdering many only being put down by the only one as skilled or more so then both of them. Though the human half sister didn't fight alone. She had a strong ally as well as the rest of the surviving shadow clan on her side. 50 against 2. You can likely imagine who lost. Even with that number against the two even if they was all novices the sheer number attacking all at once though many of them might fall would over power two adept masters of high level shadow powers. Thought the two was slain in that battle I felt the disturbance of their energy both of them in one spot this evening back among the living somehow. Yet is was different then them just being reborn. It is like they was revived and both twins was there at the museum tonight.

How ever another shadow clan guardian also was felt being there. Still is with both of the twins. Yet the guardian Kallista has lived in the chaotic world for over 8,000 years given immortality at the moment of her death from her shadow powers which she was not born with to begin with mind you. The power she had was like a living being in itself and it did not allow her to die. Though with a power like hers. She was a torture master for the clan back when it was common interrogation practices. Oddly her power allowed her to pull other powers from those she tortured adding them to her own. And for this she was exiled. The stealth barrier was also modified to reject her from entering here again. She was seen as too dangerous and slowly her power drove her to the brink of insanity. Yet the head scientist over the museum reminds me a lot of her. Though I was not positive until tonight if that was her really or not.

She had learned to hide as a human perfectly unless confronted with one she desired to have to torture she let her powers out and I identified her. She could hold a grudge against the clan for feeling threatened by her power and exiled. She begged to be allowed in when the two traitor twins half beast women was held for interrogation. we feared she wanted to extract their powers for herself. She was rejected that opportunity, but if she is able to even pull out the power of one of those twins she might be able to regain entry into here." Sodain said with a grimace looking very serious for a change. "It is my job to make sure she never has that chance. Hate to help those two but I might be left with little choice but to do so even with all the hate towards anyone that even remotely resembles their human half sister Silvia." Sodain said looking to Sil now and sighed.

"Hmmm." Kallista said thinking a bit. "Do either of these men you mentioned have strong shadow powers like the both if you?" She asked cooing back licking her lips a little as she moved over with the spiked pliers clicking them as she approached to try intimidating Kala and/or Kalla. As if the thought of such strong shadow powers was a savory feast a hungry half starved homeless person was about to eat.

"Kallista.... The scientist woman, Yet the woman that attacked. oddly looked more like silvia then I recall her looking but it is odd your orb showed only those two when I felt Kallista, and two others besides your power flaring up." Sodain said confused a little. "But yes those eyes and hair color that has to be Kala, Or kalia the two that tried framing Silvia for their fathers death which failed. Yet I watched them be ended and burned. a crime like they did some shadow users have the power to well revive their bodies after a few days once dead. It is very rare though.

The only way to stop that is to turn the bodies to pure ash and scatter it from a cliff high with strong winds. Kala and Kalia to be safe that they did not have this power was treated as if they might and burned and scattered to the wind thousands of years ago. Unless they somehow got to possess some body remnants of a shadow user and clone themselves granted they have that power, or found a genetic match of 60% to allow a clone to be made for their souls to take over. it is hard to explain how they are alive again. Yet feeling both Kala and Kalia yet only seeing one baffles me. But those eyes and hair color is definitely Kala's." Sodain said sounding troubled.

"I am not sure but I think one of those twins had a crush on me. or just plotted to destroy the friendship me and Silvia built up. But it was just rumors I heard about one of them being seen leaving tokens of infatuation at my door. Until I heard that I thought it was Silvia leaving them. Though when I asked her Silvia denied ever doing that, but had a deep blush when I mentioned it. Which made a few arguments as I said "It's okay if you did i'm not mad." but saying those words she took it as if I thought she was lying. And we did have a few arguments about it. Which did stress our relationship but it did not severe it. Which if that was their plan just to cause grief to Silvia who they despised for as they seen it 'stealing' the light of attention from them. Though thier misguided thoughts got Silvia to dislike them when they did good and silvia seen it she didn't back up the things they claimed to have done. Which didn't bolster their love towards her." He said sighing finishing his stew.

Ryo ate the food Sil handed him enjoying it. "This is really good I must say." He said between bites sipping the lemon-aid softly he poured for him and Sil. Sodain nodded at Ryo. "That reminds me I need to head out soon to get more supplies. If you would like I can put a block barrier and an anti sense barrier upon this place so you can get to practicing to control your powers not having to worry of anyone sensing it and being able to get in here." He offered as he stood finishing the thick crimson liquid in the glass he had. Which looked a lot like blood. "Also if you would like I can place an added enchantment on that necklace incase your powers start to go out of control it can absorb and return it to you once it stabilizes and blocks the power in a dead halt so if it does explode out of you it won't hurt anyone." Sodain said as if able to sense her apprehension of her own power.

Kalista seemed to think it over a big then smirked. "Oh do tell me more about this man. She said toying the pliers down along Kala's neck and chest keeping out of biting range of Kala. Which doing so it was like it tugged on the shadow powers from inside Kala's body teasing as if tasting her power only.

Asaru shook his head. "No it wouldn't hurt the necklace, it is what it was originally designed for just I wasn't able to place it upon it myself. Some arrogant guardian never taught me how." He said looking accusingly at Sodain who simply smirked.

"I would have but you transcended before I could its something you can't learn after transcending unless your a dragon that transcended. Plus before you did transcend you was lacking the strength to learn it." Sodain shrugged a bit walking closer and touching it one finger turned to scales with a sharp claw poking out placing it on the center of the necklace as he focused shadows wrapped him like rolling fire and then shot into the necklace. It glowed softly and then faded and Sodain took a deep breath seeming a little out of breath. "There just like that it's done. with the hard part out of the way." he said waving his hand as shadows glowing grey as if mixed with light fanned out quickly through the complex as a chiming sound was heard then faded.

"There the natural barrier was bolstered to prevent detection of the powers used inside as well as preventing anyone else then who is already inside from entering while I will be away. That anti entrance barrier though will activate automatically when I am asleep and outside of this place." he said bowing seeming to have recovered faster from casting the barrier spell rather than the enchantment on the necklace. "Also you will hear those same chimes when anyone passes through it, being the three transcended ones, me, you, Ryo and the rat in the corner." there was an actual rat animal in a corner of the room its beady eyes watching and Sodain tosses a few crackers towards it. the rat leaped in the air catching one scurrying off a bit to chew noisily on it.

"Wild animals are the only thing that can enter without permissions. So you may find a few prowling around from time to time. But they usually stay back from people waiting to be tossed scraps or for some careless person to move away from a table leaving food on it. But from time to time it is very possible to tame some." Sodain said smirking and left out the front soon after the chiming sound there was a loud roar and the screams of several humans the sounds of gunshots growing distant. But also for those that could smell it a slight odor of human blood on the air which quickly passed.

Ryo blinked a bit. "Some of those bounty hunters must had still been outside trying to figure out where we went. Sounds like they got the shock of a lifetime as well." He said stifling a chuckle and smirking.

Kalista thought seeming interested then burst out laughing.

Sodain walked slowly after dealing with those bounty hunters the ones that didn't get away looked to be torn apart by a wild animal not like a dragon but like alot of wolves or a lion tore them apart. though Sodain did not look covered in blood as he walked around town getting groceries some wood and a wagon he also got a few rolls of fabric, padding and other things to make comfortable seating for things. Moving off with the items he docked into empty places or alleyways using his powers to teleport the stuff back to the temple.

Kalista stopped laughing and moved a picture on her desk. It was a wedding photo the groom surprisingly was Kino. "Oh you could say I already know the man your talking about, He does have a shadow demeanor but he simply has no shadow powers. The man who employ's him has the bloodline of a powerful mage but has no power himself either. Unless being more stubborn than Aragonite marble is a power that is. Besides why would I try to harm a single hair on the head of my husband Kiro. Kala specially when I got the two of you here for that hmm?" She says cooing giving this information away "Kiro is the only one able to tame my wild nature anyway Kala. After all he is 5 times stronger then both of you combined will ever be, and he does not have powers like you do. Yet he is much stronger than you." She cooed in delightful evil as she presses a hot blade close to Kala.

Kallista smirked at the scream moving the blade away a moment then got it closer not touching Kala yet with it liking the screams of fear. but was more curious at the response of Kala's shadow powers frowning a bit then poked prodding a leg on Kala feeling a strange spot moved and stabbed the hot knife into that odd spot of hard near metal like feeling muscle watching her reaction.

Sodain stiffened up a strange look entering eye as he was in the process of buying a few things of clothing fabric as well as a dress and a few suits and hooded cloak fashions. But oddly it was like Sodain got really still in the process of going to pay for these items. As if he sensed something odd but couldn't place his finger on it.
