You know the Bartobs are always here if you need to vent. Heck, if you'd rather not post it in the forum, feel free to PM any one of us. It's nice to know you're still here.

Thanks...idk just basically my dad is a crazy conspiracy theorist and if you don't believe what he says or say something he heard was wrong he thinks you accuse him of being a liar and he gets mad starts yelling starts throwing a fit like he's a two year old and starts punching. (Don't worry I'm twice his size he can't hurt me) It's just ridiculous anymore. If he says the sky is falling and you look outside and it clearly isn't and you say other wise he will start screaming. All because some radio broadcast at 3am says otherwise.

There is a fine line between caution based on sound reason and total nutcase obsession. I for one would not listen to those wee hours radio talk shows for anything. Most of them are full of garbage and run by a bunch of nutters. Believe me, I lived with a conspiracy theorist for several years, and they are the most difficult people to get along with. I can both sympathize and empathize in this case. It would seem from past things you've told us about, that your dad is a rather irksome individual to begin with. Just remember, if you know what the truth is, what he says does not matter one whit. With people like that, you can't change their mind. It's better to just let them have their misplaced opinions and ignore them. I realize it may not be an easy thing, especially if you live at home, but all you can do is try.

Yeah I mean the one he listens to the broadcast is from Hawaii but that's 3am here. I'm like "Yes the guest who doesn't give his full name claiming to be a Harvard professor and has extensive knowledge on how Big Foot was responsible for the Boston Marathon bombing is completely credible." (not an actual convo I had with him just a joke a friend and I have)

Your dad and the nutter I know must be listening to the same crap because that sounds awfully familiar. I hope one of these days you will be able to get away from this constant headache at home. I really do wish you the best.

Welp. New story from "Pookie's Moron Brother In Jail".

Apparently, his visitation rights were pushed back two weeks because he was in someone's cell without permission.

"They coulda gave me a warning!" he said.

...As Pookie said, "This isn't a babysitting place, YOU'RE IN JAIL, MORON!"

*throws hands up*
