Note about the guild history:
when we officially make it.... we're not going to be including every single member who contributed in the early days because most of them were gone after less than a year. I personally don't think it's fair to mention them because since then the guild. Don't get me wrong, there WILL be a nice section about the guild's origins, but as for as Chocolate Frogs and stuff go I really think they should be reserved for people who really made a difference in the guild for longer than a few months.
Most notably, we should include Pinkie, KT, Angilwingz, DevilsDarkAngel, Eowuclya (I never worked with her, but she was def around for awhile in the early days), mystic_emerald, Grey Temerity, Survivor_Fanatic, and Celestial Archer. Others can definitely be mentioned, but beyond that would be too much for people who in my opinion forgot about this guild long ago. I know from personal experiences in emailing them back in the day when the guild first died in 2005 or 2006...
I didn't place people like Juni, MLT, Tina, TheRestless, and Alutian on that list because they are GIVENS. I mean without them this guild would NEVER ever be what it is.
I also want to add people like Animekitty47 to that list. She's no longer a Head, but she was friggin awesome way back when.

I've technically been active for about a month now, and well I freed up some time in the next few months to help get things rolling again.
We're going to go through each subforum one-by-one and make some changes/improvements.
If you have any ideas/suggestions, please feel free to let us know by posting in this thread.

Well I won't say I'm not disappointed there's no fight. But I'm still excited. I say we're the best because we are. I've been in many many guilds over the years, not just Harry Potter ones, and there are none as friendly, organized, and active as HPGoG.
Are some threads going to be deleted in these subforum changes? Archived is fine I just want to know if there's any o' my rps I should save for ..... well that's a fun secret!

Banners could definitely use some spiffying up.. maybe we should make a new one? And then choose ones to keep, (that way the ones we have won't be completely gone, just on vacation in the tomb... )

hey i thought of a fun little feature but im not sure if any of the guild crew have the power to do this
i was talking with a friendly ravenclaw when i rembered in the books how they had to answer a riddle to get inside the common room so i thought that if the guild could randomly put a riddel up as a kind of pop up type thing and if the riddle isnt answered it redirect the user to a different part of the guild i wasnt sure if that was allowed or possible for guild crew to do and to make things fair have the other houses have to remember that months password to get in and make the riddles quite easy at first
also when is the next term starting and is their going to be a end of term feast? if so is there any thing i can do to help
also im thinking i no longer want to be a student (even though that will mean one less slytherin to get pts for the house)
so i was wondering if i could just grad and have my student character become the perm charms teacher?

and on friday-sun day im at a friends house and im using their comp so i spend most of my time hanging out with them and catching up as much as possible plus it gets boring when you have to have conversations with your self cause no one else is online

I'll admit it was really weird logging on and not being able to access the Chamber. It's been so long since I've been just a member in this guild that I seriously didn't know what to do first. It was mind-boggling but definitely in a good, refreshing way.
Congrats to the Mod Squad, you guys definitely deserved it, and I hope you can keep the guild going in the coming years!
Hard to believe I joined this guild 7 years ago xd it was a great pleasure getting to know you guys, and even though RL has called me away from Gaia, I truly hope I can stop by and visit from time to time (maybe even write for the HM).

Any suggestions for what countries should compete?!?
Hmmm... What about... Japan? and ... New Zealand? haha. I'm mostly thinking color scheme here, and ones we haven't done before...

Amelia appears out of no where, "I am definitely up for being a referee in the cup again, (since i will have so much more time thank goodness)
But as for countries Japan, and Egypt? Sounds like a really cool combination
colors could be Japan (Dark Red and Olive) Egypt (Tangerinish and Blue)
I know your like what kind of color scheme is this but i thought it would be cool to have different shades of the color then primary and secondary of course, everyone has a say what do you think?

I think I definitely like the prospect of Japan being one of our teams, with either red and white or blue and white. White being some variation of grey again... something like, Crimson and Grey
I looked up Egypt on wikipedia and they had it down as red, white, black , and gold.... question
I dunno... Japan. Vs. Sweden
I kind of like that combo....
crimson/grey royalblue/orange
We could always try to include people from the proud country of
Azerbaijan
