As the final count rang out over the airwaves, gouts of flame wracked the compound. Fire rushed down the halls roasting the remaining combat suits as it flushed them down the corridors, smashing them into walls, computers and machinary. Each bit of accumulated damage, once broken and exposed to the flames became fuel for its own destruction increasing the size of the blast. Components shattered and ricocheted like grapeshot, whirling through the corridors whittling away doors, shattering transparisteel like an antique christmas ornament. The sound resembled not a blast but nothing so much as a roar. Screams of torment from twisting girders groan out, and the hangar collapses as if it had been made of toothpaste. The destroyed armory, cracked from prior damage, shatters in all directions taking out support beam after support beam as the strongest material in the entire base rips through lighter walls at high velocity. Some of these chunks actually exit the facility and come to rest in the forest and the surrounding area. The Research Facility meets one of these blocks and the core has a hole punched into it. So much for Ironwolf's technical accomplishments... It seems to actually absorb the light, sucking it into itself and then it begins to glow on the floor... The ensuing blast flattens that half of the Militia HQ. The glowing fireball can be seen from miles away, and the dark night becomes light as day for an instant.
Inside the secondary bunker Karazuma, Ironwolf and Tso are almost knocked to the ground and a giant crack splits one side of the bunker, and the lights flicker and go out for a few seconds before returning... bright red. Emergency Power.
The Main Bunker... Almost as if there was no portection at all... At first dust just shook from the ceiling, but as the explosions increased in size and number small chunks fell from the ceiling and impacting debris shook the walls. Several pieces broke off to sling themselves across the room, causing no major casualties but causing several cuts and nasty bleeding. The team in this room fell to the floor unable to stand. One of the reinforced in the heavy beams in the ceiling collapsed, moving as if to crush Xemaca but impacting the floor and stuck, burying itself in the floor, stopping itself mere inches from her defensless body. The lights in the room shattered from the small bits of stone and metal, spreading glass over the room.
All that could be heard in the wake of the blast was static... And in any case the Militia's ears could hear nothing. The secondary base only had a dull ringing in their heads.

(( My...? lol )) Like the radiation from the weapons storage? Accually, I think we could be ok as long as none of it landed just out the door. Weapons Grade plutonium dosent have as long a half-life as Reactor Grade. I forgot the exact time.... I know it was prety short. Thats how now'a days tourists can go to Hiroshima without getting killed.
