Wolf smiled at Rave's words and laughed. Oh so true. Sacrifices must be made and at times freedoms lost. Yet we persevere and live on no matter the cost. Your point is well made. As he spoke Wolf felt something warm against his chest where the feather of a pheonix rested. It had been a gift to him from a friend. It's warmth spread into his body and as it did it soothed the cursed burn and chased it from his torso back to his neck and confined it there. It appeared the protection would be restored for the moment. Even so Wolf decided that he would leave in the next hour to retrieve his ward.
I must say it's been a pleasure speaking with you and your views are very useful. I had not heard of either T or KB prior to our chat.

"Though.. I do question Xol a lot. Its probibly just me but.. I just dont like him...nor do I like KB very much. They both seem too entertained by their own actions."

Wolf chuckled at her words and nodded. I've noticed that often happens to those that are very old. Shadow is much the same. Far too entertained with his twisted actions. I've done many things that are wrong or evil from the perspective of most but I never enjoyed it. It was business and I had little choice if I wished to live. Life is quite difficult at times but I find no matter how bad something makes me feel it doesn't override my desire to live.

"Nothing.. She just said 'No wonder everyone picks on you'. Shes a kind person and she looks out of the welfare of the people here as well as Than over there and Focht. It seems Black Company has many people to protect it... though there are also others here that would rather destroy it. "
She Shrugged and smiled. "To the ones who protect this place... Its shows their commitment..."

Wolf nodded slowly at her words. I've recently discovered how someone can be driven to defend a place or person. Just out of curiosity though you didn't put your own name with theirs. Whys is that? Is this just a place you enjoy or is it one you'd protect?

"Im not sure... Im partial to this place but theres an emptiness thats there. I have no motivation to protect this place what so ever unless it meant saving some one I care for. And if that ment sacrificing myself im not even sure I'd do that. Its like a hallow emotion... but I cant help it. Its hard for something like me to feel those emotions.. Its something I must learn."
She smirked, her fangs showing slightly as they draped over the edge of her bottom lip.
"Though I would protect it if it brought me entertainment. Id do a lot of things if it brought me entertainment...but thats a different story all together now isnt it..?" ((EDIT))

Wolf laughed at her words again and his face altered slightly as his eyes blazed a fierce gold. Then tell me my friend what entertains you? I may be able to help you find the entertainment you seek. And I can promise if I do no one you care for will be hurt by it. His voice was slightly deeper than it had been a moment before and now had a serious tone. His smile was suddenly ironic and his attitude was half playful.

Rhea awoke with a soft yawn.She found she was laying half-dressed in a bed.Sitting up she quickly found "Pants". A look of determination crossed her face as she looked them over.Slowly,after much trying,she managed to get them on.She then did up the button,just as she had on her shirt.Smiling,and proud with herself,she made her way out of the room and down the stairs.She now wore a button-up shirt half buttoned up, and pants.She had forgotten about the shoes alltogether.She was happy though.Looking around she quickly spotted a couch and hopped onto it.She snuggled into the soft warmth of it,whispering to herself."Lyna...."
