Suze: Me and Super were baffled by it, one day we would get on and it would say snazzy, then the next day it wouldn't. One day it was actually changing every few minutes are we were posting. I have an announcement!!!*ahem* As the new Captain of the Dueling Club, I have decided to restart the registry, in order to sift through inactive members. If you are a member, please apply in the new registry thread, here. Your wins and losses from before will still count, but members who do not apply will not be put on the new list and will not be considered active members. This information has also been sent via PM to all members who posted on the previous registry. Also, Captains have been asked if they want to keep their title. If they decide not to or do not reply, I will select new captains from new applicants. Also, anyone who was not previously involved in the Dueling Club but would like to may feel free to follow that link and apply! Thank you!

My father's about as muggle as they come, my Magick comes from my mother's side. You see, she's 1/4 native american. Her mum saw a ghost on a rooftop in New York once that warned her friends to leave mere minutes before a shooting happened.
My mother also has visions and such, and could see and perceive things that muggles can't.
I'm sure my magick comes from her, but I'm the first in the family to receive this formal education...
*The sorting hat is placed on her head, she holds her breath as it scans through her memories, talking with her a bit. She's not the first to whisper between gritted teeth "Not Slytherin..." but the Hat has yet to make its decision*

meatball: Welcome to our guild! We look forward to talking with you and you should totally join the Dueling Club because we currently only have 3 members... >.> <.< not that I'm begging.
Although, you should know, the Great Hall and the Common Rooms are not role-playing forums. They are conversational threads. We do have a subforum for roleplaying, though, which you can see on the main forum page.

I figured it wasn't exactly a roleplaying forum but I decided to be a little colorful anyways with my introduction.
Thanks for the welcome! What do you guys think about the HP items that gaia has released... the wand for watching the trailer, and the golden snitch you can find around the site (just like the plumbobs).
I really really really really hope they actually release HP robes like they have their NPC "hogwarts student" wear. I was like "A-hah! You guys can do it! Now make it available to us!"
I think all these animals are heavier than the sorting hat though. If I count right I have a mini petting zoo of 19 around me.
Anywho...

I can't wait either. smile I think you and I are really the only ones who are in the running because besides Super, we are the only active people who are above 5th. biggrin

I went to switch the status of our new Prefects, and I saw that Gina is only a second year. *smacks head on desk* redface Most of he Haven’ers that don’t post in the Common Rooms or the games too often, but still participate in the contests, are members that don’t need the quantity posts because they’re already in a high-ranking year. (Am I the only one to notice this?)
Not only was Gina the top point-earner in Hogwarts last term, but she was also the only Ravenclaw to participate in ALL of the contests. Because I didn’t see her post too often, and saw in her in all of the contests, I assumed that she was one of those old members. sweatdrop
Well, I can admit when I make a mistake. I’ll have to select someone else. There are plenty of other excellent Ravenclaws I can choose. I wanted to reward Gina for her participation, but I can’t bypass the rules of the guild and make somebody a Prefect that’s under 5th year. I feel badly for telling her that I made her Prefect, but hopefully she’ll understand since if she continues participating so much, she’ll definitely make Prefect by the time she’s a 5th year. Plus, she still gets 10k for being the top point-earner

Thank you for being among the first to welcome me! It seemed to work out great that I ended up in your house. Thanks for grabbing the knight fish! It helps both of us. I'll be keeping an eye on everyone else's tank as well, I almost never pass up an opportunity to grab. So, what subject do you (or hypotheticially would) teach, since all of the Heads of Houses double as professors as well?

. I completely forgot about that! You're right of course and had I remembered I would've reminded you myself. Anyway I completely understand so don't worry about it. Congrats to the new prefect whoever he/she is. I'm sure they'll do great! mrgreen

When I first joined, everyone was RPing in the Great Hall and the Common Rooms, and then a bunch of people disappeared, and it was me and one other new girl doing it, and then one of the Mods magically reappeared. She got onto us for RPing in a non-RP thread.
And I like the wand. I haven't seen the Snitch... I want one!
Min: I will certainly try. And that kinda sucks about Gina. I'm the third highest poster and I still post in the Common room and games...
Suze: No we had no idea. Super and I were at a loss from it. I can't remember if we ever figured it out.

I don't think you should have been reprimanded for RPing in a non-RP thread. I mean, it's usually part of our online manerisms to do some low-level RP stuff when we're not actually playing *scratches head*, at least I'm pretty sure or I'm loosing my precious marbles. *sweatdrop* Anyways, I think RPish posts that still accomplish something give a sort of flavour to the guild that supports the theme, which isn't a bad thing at all.
