fluorescein Fluo never imagined her life would end like this.
In the midst of it all, she was hit by a magical yellow school bus. Something was yelling in her ear. Her arm was being bitten off by razor metal teeth. The magical school bus kept on screaming superlatives and expletives. She couldn't take it anymore. Time for her trump card. Maybe a little misdirection would help her.
"THE BRITISH ARE COMING, THE BRITISH ARE COMING!: 
Oh jirachi, the tentacruel was roaring at her now! Penny didn't know how much more she could take. It felt like it was going to eat her! Amidst the struggle though, her senses slowly started to come back, everything becoming clearer and, well, making much more sense than they did before.
The haze of confusion lifting, Penny groggily came to realisation that she was on the ground, wrestling with the trainer she had shared a room with, fluo. They were at each other's throats, fluo's arm still stuck down Penny's shirt, and a couple other articles of clothing torn from the epic struggle.
"Egh? What the combee happened here?" she slurred out, trying to keep fluo away, who seemed to be still slightly under the effects of a confusion attack. "Those yellow monsters... they were girafarig!" Penny slapped herself, having missed another chance at going for a pokemon as the other trainers talked about how four of them had appeared.
But looking around more... it appeared that more than girafarig had hit the group. By the destruction of wagon three, and the yelling scientists who were screaming that they were all crap or something, Penny surmised that a lot more than 'random swarms' was going on. It could be no coincidence that they ran into a swarm everyday now, and especially with the scientists, the whole mining trip was looking to be more suspicious by the moment. The outcome looked dim, growing dark as the mysterious black trunks that they were ferrying...

 "Shut up!" Kader growled, marching toward the red faced scientist. "While you old farts were in there picking your noses and worrying about whether or not one of you could have died, your trailer could have very well killed one of us. I don't know about you, but you might not have noticed a good many of us have no pokemon. So do us all a favor and shut it while we do the work for you!"

 Returning from the wagon with her as per usual uninjured bag (Lairon brand: So durable, it could withstand a drill peck! Or so the ads went.), and hearing Luna's voice, headed over. "The medic is injured, it seems." Lamen told the other trainer, walking up to her. "And the scientists are fine- nothing but a little shaken, by the looks of it. Well, I guess a checkup wouldn't hurt, but they're probably capable of doing so themselves."
Glancing around, Lamen realized- the Girafarigs had all been caught, right?
"Guys, if any of you could use a Girafarig to psychic the trailer back upright, maybe its still useable."

 Kayla was ignoring all the yelling aimed at the scientist and looked around for Cass to see if she was injured. Spotting her yelling as well, she smiled. Well it looks like she was alright. But just to be sure. "Hey Cass! You okay?"

"Of course," Ridley nodded, supporting Liam and helping him over to the scientists. He knew a good many were angry with the men, but they were the whole reason they were on this expedition. He tactfully kept his mouth shut and let Liam have a look at them.

Eccentric Birdie Arin continued to sit on the ground, her head in her knees and her arms wrapped around Hush. She had nearly DIED just now, having been under the wagon a few moments before the trailer had crashed down onto it. She ignored the loud yelling going on around her and just sat there among the other trainers, somewhat in shock at what had happened. ((If you give me a minute I'll head over to your character too, if you want her checked out ^^ Ferret -- XD I think Liam would get a kick out of it. Either that or he might try to punch him out... but I like to think he'd laugh instead.))

 [[ NOM NOM NOM. ]] Meeka climbed back on Ebba and Heila took the seat on the back on him as her rightful thrown. "I hope there isn't anymore!" she said as she patted Ebba and fixed his scarf.

Jen agreed with Alastair one hundred percent on this issue; cracking her knuckles and scowling at them, she would have socked one on the jaw for their words...had it not been for the situation at hand. She needed to help out and see if everyone was okay.
But...in the mean time....
"ACE! Come here for a second!"
A light chitter came as her Golbat landed on the remains of the metal trailer. He cocked his head to the side and watched as an evil grin spread across her face.
"DOn't give this bum one SECOND of piece and quiet, ya hear? I want you to do that until I say stop, okay?"
Ace, with an evil grin of his own forming, saluted his trainer.
"Alrighty then...I leave the rest to you." With that said, she turn and darted towards everyone else with a first aid kit in hand.

Hayne rubbed his head. A little bit of blood; he gleaned it was a small cut from the... the party of rainbow ponies? What had happened? And stupid, stupid scientists, they aren't the only ones who got hurt.

 "I know," she shook her head as she crossed her arms inpatiently. "It's confusing, and I just wanna get back home now. I'm getting freaked out." It was true. This was just mayhem, which she planned to get away from when she had signed up for the mission.
"I'm Bug," she said in a sudden change of mood, sitting down besides Jenette. "Nice to meet you."

 Still huffing the girl flicked her hair over her shoulder before looking over at Kayla she nodded. "Fine! Just a bit bruised that's all." She said knowing there was going to be a lovely bruise blossoming on her rump and forehead tonight. But for now...whatever pain came from those was unnoticed by the girl.

Kayla turned her head sharply at Lamen and smiled. "That's a great, idea!" Kayla grabbed the safari ball that she used to catch her girafarig and threw it at the trailer. "Go, Girafarig use physic to upright that trailer!"
Being that Kayla had yet to name it or find out it's gender, the girafarig came out and did as it was told. It used it's physic ability and lifted it into the air slightly and turned it back upright like it oringinally was.
"There we go! Return!" The girafarig looked back at its new trainer before returning into its pokeball.
