I love Mordecai... which is sad because in both FE9 and FE10, you get characters later in the game who are so much better than him.
(Ranulf in FE9; any of the lions in FE10.)

fe11 navarre and lindehavent got the chance to play the others sadly

I actually don't think I've ever posted in this thread, somehow.
My favorites from Tellius are definitely Calill and Tanith. They're my top birches. I also am a big fan of Soren, Reyson, and Ulki after them - favorites, but NOT to the same extent.
Elibe favorites definitely include Echidna, Serra (she's really grown on me over the years), Lugh, Hugh, and Niime.
Favorite Jugdral characters HAVE to include Leaf, and then Homeros, Arthur, and Sigurd. Yurius is probably my favorite villain, too.
From Akaneia, there's Athena. She's a favorite, but even then, not too high up my list of favorites. That's really it. And she's not even a part of the original cast. Not my fault the majority of the cast isn't all too fleshed out, the ones who are not being particularly interesting to me.
From Magvel, there's… not only a smaller cast than usual, but nothing that has become a favorite of mine. Sure, there are some real characters in the bunch, and I like plenty of them, but the cast as a whole was pretty bland.
Been meaning to try Meg, actually. I don't think she'd be that good though. Low speed caps inhibit her growth and ability to double, while her Defense is actually kind of unimpressive. Aran is a better tank than her, but with more movement and a better weapon type. Still, a lot of people speak well of her, so I figure I'll see how it plays out.

Well yeah, she's not all that great as a unit and she's kind of backwards as far as stats go. She's hard to use, especially with her being in the dawn brigade, in the same sort of reasons Fiona is hard to use.
I just think she's a little cutie.

I'll make a more thoughtful post later. But I really like Uther, Rhys, Mia, Echidna, Serra, and Marisa, for sure.

I adore Meg. Mostly because she reminds me of myself... and maybe how I'd look if I added a few pounds.
She's backwards as far as stats go. Usually, I've got her speed double my other generals while her defense sucks. She'd have been much better as a myrmidon.

Or maybe just as a Halberdier? Take after her father by following a relatively-Def-happy class, but utilize better speed.

Looks like I posted in here back in 2009, but my tastes have changed since then. Though at the same time, my favorite FE characters is something that changes all the time. Why only limit yourself to a few when there are so many characters to love? Of course not all of them are winners, not all of them are interesting or appealing to me, but so many are at least one of those.
Oh 2009 me, what, no Elincia? And the only way Sephiran will get anywhere near my faves is because of association with Sanaki and Zelgius. No matter how much white text derping I add. And where's Lowen? And why lack of Tiki? Now that's just preposterous.
Still rather fond of Niime, Hector, Oswin, Ike, Kieran, Reyson, and Sanaki, though. I'm still fond of Zelgius, but nowhere near to the extent I used to be. I understand the lack of FE4 as I hadn't played it back then, but now that I have, I'm still deciding who my favorite characters are. There are plenty of characters that I would call interesting, very much so, but not necessarily my favorites. Though my mind keeps settling on Oifaye. I'd call him a current favorite.
And oh, so many characters I like in association to one another... FE has so many great conversations. I've never been too big on pairings, but the vast amounts of characters and their ability to bounce off of one another and develop... So cool. I have an ever growing list of favorite conversations.
I don't use meg, but she is chubby and cute. I shake my head whenever someone calls her ugly because she's chubby.
And she also called Zihark "Pookums." That has to be worth something.

Fire Emblems on the GBAs Maybe... Sain. But only because all his supports are freaking hilarious. There's so many "awesome" characters in these games, that I couldn't decide between them. So I'll go with the plucky comic relief. Going by awesome meter, I might have to say Jafar. But only because of his response to Nergal in the final battle. "... ... ... Die." FE9 and 10 Haar... no doubt. Haar for the win... No character surprises me as much as he does. The moment you think he's even the slightest simple minded, he catches you off guard. He's like Spike Spiegel, but riding a dragon, in pitch black armor, wielding an axe.

Even though it's been forever, I don't believe I posted my favorites on here...
So, to clarify!
FE6: Rutger. He pwns.
FE7: Oh, s**t, I have to pick one?? Most likely...Serra, but I really like Matthew, too.
FE8: Innes and Joshua are my two favorite in that game, they kick a**. Followed up by Natasha. She reminds me of me. ;D
FE9: Reyson and Shinon were my two favorite.
Shadow Dragon: I forget his name, he was a redheaded cavalier? Anyway, I switched his class to Myrmidon and FUUUUUDGE he was my best unit!!
I, sadly, never got to play FE10 and any of the FE's before 6. D8 /cries

Joshua has to be my favorite. Well-rounded off with decent defense. Wish his luck was better, but his defense compared to other swordsman makes up for it.
Rath is also another favorite. Great mobility and damage. Successful in every other stats
Gerk as a ranger. -scream.-
Currently playing PoR right now. Nephenee came out to be REALLY amazing. I love Soren's design and appearance along with Jill.

I love Neimi, and Colm from FE8, but as far as 7 goes... I actually enjoyed Erk. Although I loved Lyndis' story arch.
and as for 10 Mia was my MVP for good reason biggrin . Not saying Edward did not try, but Mist was my main cleric and Mia just kind of went to town on people blue haired murderess the whole way.
