Kin became slightly annoyed with the question, "I have no passed down abilities or traits that I'm aware of. My actul village dosn't exist anymore and I have been taken in by another." Kin explained. My one special ability must be kept secret. Kin thought.

"I'm sorry to hear about your village, I hope that you were happy with your new one." Sai said uncomfortably. He took a final bite of his popkin, finishing it off.

Kin now shrugged that off and stood up. "I think we should get going." Kin said firmly.
The sooner we move, the sooner we have a new opponent. Kin thought.

"I agree. There's still plenty of daylight left. We could still make it quite some distance if we leave now. Minatsuki? Are you going to be coming with us?" Sai asked.
Stratus said as he landed on the edge of the roof outside.
Sai responded.

Taking the last bite of hyper kabob, Minatsuki wiped her mouth and smiled.
"Yup."
Standing up, Minatsuki walked over to Asako, gobbling up apples, and pushed her to the side, stashing whatever whole apples that were left in her bag.
"Ready when you are!"
She smiled at them, but suddenly the smile slightly faded into a worried look.
"Hey... Are we gonna be able to sleep on an actual bed tonight?"
((Sorry for not being on!! I pmed SN today but just letting people know about my current mishap. The summer term is over so I had to move out of my dorm, and the internet at my house is down until Monday at the earliest! I'll try to post as much as possible, probably in the library crying , but until then, don't hate me if I'm not responding.))

Kin stared at Mina, slightly annoyed at the question. "Does it matter?" Kin asked back quickly. The way she fights dosn't match the way she acts at all... Kin thought to himself, giving her a look.

"Well, I was hoping, and I think that Kin would agree with me, that we could put in another few miles at least before we set up camp for the night. We don't even have a full year before the they hold the tournament again, and I want to be able to compete in it. We need to move fast if we want to get enough marks to qualify." Sai said as he stood and pushed his chair back in.

Minatsuki frowned, falling on Asako's back.
"I've been camping for more than two weeks now..."
She pouted, but sat back up with a sigh, motioning for them to lead without a word.

Sai thought to Stratus as he led the way out of the diner.
Stratus thought back.
Sai stepped out into the street and removed his map from his pack. He spread it out before him so that he could see it clearly and so could the others if they were to look.
"So, where do you think we ought to go from here?" He asked his companions. "We could continue heading north and loop around the mountains. Then we could head south, hitting all the villages on the way, and loop back up from the bottom."
((I have added a very basic map to the first page, below the story. This way everyone can make a more informed decision of where they would like to go.))

"I have no problem with the direction we go." Kin said emotionlessly as he walked beside Sai. Kin ordered Vix.
Vix quickly vanished away. Kin again, eye'd Minatsuki and then Sai. Still, wondering what he ment by physical attraction. I still don't understand it. Kin thought to himself, showing off an annoyed expression.

Minatsuki did not bother to get off from Asako, she just stared at the two guys in front of the map, hoping that they would be in a village by tonight.

"Alright, then I guess we're heading north. If we leave now we should be able to make it at least halfway to the next village by sundown." Sai said and, without turning to see if the other two would follow, began walking down the street in a northward direction.
Sai thought, mostly to himself.

Kin walked beside Sai. "Sai, do you have any questions or objections to why I wanted this girl to travel with us?" Kin asked quietly, keeping his emotionless face. "And while were on topic of traveling, I think we should quicken our pace."

Opening her large wings, Asako kicked off from the ground, flying above the two guys in no time. Not knowing which direction they were heading, she flew slightly behind the two guys, high above them, hoovering lazily.
