A knight? A "suitor"? .. A random guy who had the intentions of finding a princess in a tower in the middle of nowhere? The Queen could have thought him to be any one of these really, but Aurora chose to simply identify him as 'you'.. Which was, of course, much better than any insulting comment he could have used. Finding he could no longer hold his eyes toward Aurora's mother, he was glad for the excuse to turn them upon the prince as he spoke. But the request surprised him. Not only the question itself, but the adopted tone of voice.
"Well.. okay.. Of course, if that's what you wish," Nic said only in slight hesitance, knowing what step it would involve to awaken him. He realized that in agreeing to this request, he was submitting himself to kiss a guy everytime he fell asleep. But.. he was a knight, after all. To serve royalty was his forte. "But what exactly do you mean 'before she has a chance to do anything'?"

"Mmmm... let's just put it this way...." he said, continuing on with his oddly honey-coated, flowery tone. "Judging by what I've seen of you, you really do not know just what a woman of her... character is capable of," he said sweetly. However, despite his voice, judging by his eyes, which were the only things among his otherwise sugar-coated, that were full of his usual spite. He was obviously feeling quite venemous at that moment. "You know... a mother who is so... overwhelmingly romantic and overbearing -- who would do practically anything to get her only daughter to shack up with some strange man. Why, if she ever found her enchanted daughter sleeping, of all things, she just might get it in her head to lock that daughter up in a room with an incredibly large bed and a suitor!" Aurora exclaimed, now no longer able to contain his venom. He was practically seathing with surpressed rage and horror. "So please, please don't let anything even remotely close to that happen," he said. His own voice had finally broken through the girlish facade and, eyes wide, he was practically pleading with the other not to question his request. It was the closest the prince would ever come to humbling himself.

"I'll have you know I'm a descendant of the Miseries. These dark rings come from the part where I share this annoying pests body and can't get any sleep of my own." Panick said after a few moments."Besides, where exactly would I carry eyeliner, in my underwear?" he asked, indicating the lack of pockets on his toga.

"Sure, why not?" Hina said, a scowl persisting on his lips. Short(er) people really got on his nerves. "Secret agents can carry guns and the like in their underwear when undercover, so why should a pencil be any different? It's smaller at least," he said dryly, his voice noncommital. "Anyway, I don't really care who the hell your ancesters were, whether they're happy or sad or whatever," he said. Hina was, quite obviously, the owner of an incredibly large ego -- and it seemed that, when annoyed, it could only grow bigger and more arrogant with every word.

"And I'm certain it would be even more uncomfortable." Panick replied. Hina may have a large ego but Panick wasn't one to lose an argument, no matter how much arguing had to be done before he was satisfied that he had won the argument. "Neither do I personally care who my ancestors were either but i do have a family tradition to uphold thank you very much, this...child...is not helping me get it done though. Now if you know magic, could you kindly magic me up something less bright and vibrant than this...ugh...thing Pandora chooses to wear?" he finished with a request, trying to be kind.

Hina glanced over at the other, his eyes falling down across the toga. Yes, that attire did quite bother him. Then, suddenly, he giggled -- his first giggle in quite some time since his appearance. "Sure. I'll give you some clothes more befitting of your appearance and... character," he said, a bright, cheery and not at all innocent grin on his lips. He took a step towards the other -- a surprisngly long stride that took him quite close to the other. He raised his right hand to his lips and pressed the small stone of his ring to the pinked flesh there, his other hand reaching forward to lightly touch the other's clothing. Instantly, the wrappings seemed to take a life of their own -- twisting and writhing and changing size, shape, color and texture. The end result was deffinately much more beffitting of one labelled as.... well, anything to do with the 'lower spectrum' as Hina called it -- gothic, emotive or angsting. Anything not bright and cheerful was the lower, darkened spectrum. For one thing, Panick's new clothing were entirely made of black. A pair of slightly faded black jeans with some rips and cuts and a few patches, some chain-full accessories, some sort of black tee with an unrecognizable band logo on it.... that sort of thing. He had even given the boy some tattoos. Hina stepped back, then, to fully examine his handy work -- and then burst out laughing. "It... suits you..." he mumbled from amongst his fit of giggles.

"Thank you..." Panick nearly whispered. It wasn't something he was used to saying since most people would have gone running at the sight of Pandora, regardless of appearance or personality. He inspected the clothes that Hina had given him after a moment and offered a rather faint smile to the taller boy.
"I think they are rather likeable. They're much better than Pandora's choice of clothing." he said slowly, running one finger the length of a chain hanging from one of his little accessories, another tracing one of the more evil looking tattoos.

"But I would never.." Nicholas stammered, his own eyes widened to show his appall at what Aurora's mother was capable of. He couldn't imagine the level of awkwardness he would undergo if he were put in that situation. Trying to shake the possibility out of his mind, the knight straightened his facade to that of understanding and obedience. After all, he couldn't deny Aurora this request. Not while he seemed so vulnerable. "I promise you, I won't let anything of the sort happen," he said sincerely.
But even while this was a rare occasion where he wasn't expecting the young prince to explode at any moment, Nic would rather have Aurora angry than acting so defenseless. No matter how adorable he may be during such a mood...
"So.." he said hesitantly, before trying to offer a smile. "How about we head on into the castle? You have to be hungry! I think a hot meal would do you a lot of good."

Aurora's expression brightened considerably at the other's reply, a surprisingly bright smile spreading across the prince-turned-princess' features. Though he looked much like his mother, his smile did not at all mirror her own overly estatic one. Perhaps it was because it was a less common sight than the queen's nearly constant beaming expression, but Aurora's smile seemed much more... tender and sincere.
He nodded slowly to the other's words. "Mmm, yeah, a meal sounds good... although I think I'd like something cold. The bright sun is quite hot after such a long time cooped up in a stone cold tower," he mused lightly. With that, he began off towards the castle, making a small gesture for the other to follow.
They arrived after several minutes' walk -- a much shorter time than what would be usual for a place that looked so... distant. As the prince entered the castle, a small frown wrinkled across his brow. "Mother... redecorated again...." he muttered slowly, mostly to himself. He seemed quite overwhelmed, his memory now serving no purpose in helping him find his way around. "Well, this is lovely...."

"Yeah, togas are rather outdated," Hina mused with a small shrug. "I mean, they're not completely gone, but... it's hardly common to see people wear them casually. This look is much more today," he said with an approving nod. He glanced back from Panick to the (still) fallen prince with a small sigh. It appeared it healing magic was still quite lacking (at least by his own standards), after all. He would have to work on that when he got home... if he could remember how to get there. He had been over in Far Far Away, chatting with his mentour, Celestine -- who was really the single most perfect human being in the entire universe -- and had decided to... get out a bit on his own -- maybe find someone suitable for some fun.... And he had found himself in the marsh, after having followed a particularly cute, but obviously ill-fated and directionally-impered, brunnette.

At sight of the young prince's smile, Nic felt as if he had won some sort of race. A race between himself and Aurora's anger. Which one could break through to the boy the fastest. It appeared, with the mention of food, the knight had come out on top.. At least this time. But keeping the recent 'victory' in mind, he gladly followed Aurora into the castle.
Once inside, Nic's blue eyes glided over the interior of the single room, obviously impressed. If this was just the entrance chamber, he couldn't imagine what the rest would be like. "Lovely, indeed," he agreed, not quite catching the sarcasm in Aurora's comment. "Your mother seems to have excellent taste."

Aurora glanced up at Nic, a small frown curving his wonderfully pink lips downward. "Yes, but this makes everything much more difficult. I mean, if we ever want to get out of here, we'll have to get acclimated first or get help or something, and all the servants -- or most of them -- are loyal more to the king and queen than the... princess," he said. Hands now on hips, Aurora seemed to be deliberating upon this issue quite seriously -- it seemed even he had some mind for strategie, at least when it came to escaping from his parents.
He glanced around again, this time his dark eyes spotting a servant girl -- and, fortunately, it was one who had been working at the pallace for years. "Emily," he said, beconing for her to come. "Emily, where's my room now?" he asked. "Could you please take us there? And lunch or something would be nice, too," he said. Surprisingly, his orders didn't sound much like... orders -- more like requests, though she still had to follow them. The girl nodded and led them through a confuzing maze of corridors, finally stopping in front a set of large, ornate doors. The girl opened them, revealing a room that was the very epitome of princess. Aurora didn't seem very happy about that, a small grimace forming on his features, but he entered anyway. He glanced back towards Emily and she smiled and nodded, closed the doors behind the two, and went off to get lunch.

Indi stood in the kitchen, still preparing a meal, nothing that was overly extravagant but not something that would be seen anywhere outside the castle for less than a small fortune in cost. Kane had helped him to prepare it and he was busily cleaning now as Indi prepared to take the food up to Aurora's room. Kane had to remind him that the Queen had redecorated and that the Prince(ess)'s bedroom was now in an entirely different location.
How he was going to get there was another matter entirely considering he didn't have the faintest idea yet. He figured his best bet was to go and find it so he levitated the three platters of food in front of him as he left to go and find 'Rora and Nic. "Where oh where could the Princess be?" he mumbled to himself, giggling a bit as he went.

So the problem that needed to be solved was how to escape the castle without the king and queen knowing of it? Surely they would have eyes out around all corners of every corridor. But would they truly not trust their "daughter" that much? Just as Nic looked as if he was attempting to formulate a plan of his own, he was caught off-guard by Aurora's humble tone.. towards a servant of all people. Not that he was against the kindness toward those below him, of course. It was just.. surprising. The knight had half-way pegged Aurora to be the "demand to get my way" kind of prince. Maybe this was just what came with being stuck in a tower for so long.
Having quietly followed Emily through the winding castle, playing the "modest suitor" alongside Aurora, he heaved a quiet sigh once the room's door closed. "Talk about a labyrinth," he commented, seemingly before he took in the view of the room. But once he rose his eyes to the.. princess pink wonderland.. a snort of a laugh escaped him before he realized its arrival.
Nic slapped his hand up to cover his betraying lips not even two seconds afterward, looking nervously apprehensive for a reprimanding.

((Surprisingly enough, 'Rora is a decent person... at least until he is angered. Then he snaps. 8D;;; ))
Aurora shot a small glare at Nic. It wasn't as if it was... his fault... anyway. "Blame my mother," he said stiffly, his tone taking on a decidedly cold edge. It was obvious just how strong his feelings of loathing were towards that room in its visions of pretty pink wonderland. "After all, I have never... been in this room before," he continued, his voice just as cutting as before. Aurora. Was. Not. Happy. He folded his arms crossly over his chest, his shoulders rising involuntarilly into a position of self-protection. Hips cocked to one side, he glanced moodily away from the knight. Evidently, one mention of his overly girly room and his position as "princess" was enough to send his unusually good mood spiraling down into a vortex of dismally depressed and angry vexation.
"So... if you have any... complaints, Nic, then I suggest you take your complaints to the woman who redesigned the entire castle, not just my room," he said coldly, his dark eyes full of a condescention that was much more remniscent of their first meeting.
