Tianna gave a particularly loud howl, and silently thanked the gods that she had sound proofed her condo incase she got out of hand. She pushed and pushed, the water streaked liberally with her blood. She gripped the sides of the tub and felt them crack under her claws. 'Damn.' She thought 'Why does this have to be so painful?' She took a deep calming breath and thought 'Calm down Tianna. You can handle a fight with vampires and your own kind. You can handle one hundred vampire at once if you put your mind to it. Remember. Pain is what people expect so they feel it. Its all mind over matter.' She released her grip on the tiles, concentrating on making the pain vanish and shivered slightly as another contraction ripped through her. She didn't make any noise however.She pushed with all her might and was happy when a small furry creature popped out. Painlessly. She stopped concentrating and the pain came back full force. She gritted her teeth and sliced the umbilical coard with her claws, returning to human form to pick up her child. She cocked her head to the side and turned him over to slap her behind to make her cry. She let out a small growl instead and clawed at the hand that held her. She laughed lightly. Her daughter was a warrior already. Tianna pulled her daughter to her chest and rocked her gently. The small creature shifted forms, becoming a small girl with a head of hair that trialed down to dangle in the air. Tianna laughed. 'What beautiful hair...' She thought. "Adelina." She whispered as her daughter fell asleep.

Niraj had moved as far away from the bathroom door as he could and had covered his ears tightly.He no longer heard anything but he couldn't block out the smell of blood. It was driving him mad with worry. The smell filled his nostrils choking them with their thick,heavy scent even this far from the bathroom. He ran out the open window and clinging to the sill breathed in the night air desperately. The stench of blood horrified him.

Tianna stood up, taking her newborn daughter with her. She turned the setting to shower, so she could rise all the blood away. She had shifted forms again, becoming human once more. She held her daughter and scrubbed all scents of blood from herself and the infant. Afterwords she steppd out, shaking like a dog beforehand, and dried herself and the baby. She quickly pulled her clothes back on, ignoring the five gashes in the hem. She wrapped the baby in a silk towel she had bought recently, and wrapped Adelina skillfully. She opened the door and walked easily towards the eindowsill, where Niraj was clinging, on the verge of hyperventilation. She tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Its ok. Its over. And the baby is fine and healthy. We can even eat dinner now."
((Sorry about taking so long to post. Next week are my midterms. I've been cramming))

Niraj relaxed at Tianna's touch and got off the window sill. He changed back to human after a bit and looked at her smiling sheepishly. "I'm glad everything went well...how are you feeling?" He asked worriedly. From what he knew he'd thought that childbirth would be very tiring even for Tianna.

Tianna yawned and said, "Not QUITE as bad as I thought. The old man once taught me that pain is irrelevant if you don't believe its there. A little harder done than said but I mastered it after ten years." Tianna nodded and pulled back some of the black silk and said, "This is Adelina. Told you it'd be a girl."

Niraj smiled seeing Adelina."She's adorable...heh you did didn't you...are you tired? You don't have to finish dinner with me if you want to sleep..." He said and meant it. He cared more about her well-being then whether or not they got to finish their sort-of date.

"Nah. I'm good. I'm to filled with adrenaline to sleep right now. Lets finish eating. It'd be a shame to not eat those nice steaks. Not to mention thoase big shrimp. I'm not made of money you know." She laughed and said, "Ok well.. Maybe I am but still." She went to the table and sat down, cradling Adelina against her. She looked at the utensiles then at the baby, then at the utensiles again. She sighed and extended one of her nails and used it as a knife, and speared it, using it as a fork too.
((sorry bout the wait again. Both me and my comp had a sickness. me with a really bad string of colds and my comp with and assortment of 451 different cookies, trojans, and viruses... Damn conspiring viruses. They're trying to keep me from roleplaying... Had to get more protection for my comp.))

Niraj chuckled a little and sitting down begin eating again as well. He couldn't help giggling quietly at her dilemma with utensils. "Sorry..."He said timidly but smiled at her.
((It's alright.^^ I'm really sorry about your computer. That really sucks. ><; It'd be all over for my comp if it got all that.))

She chuckled slightly and cooed at Adelina, who had woken up now and was making gurgling noises. "I've got it all figured out now anyways." She took a very small pice of steak and put it on Adelinas tongue. "There baby girl. You can suck the flavor out."

"Awww...."Niraj wasn't able to stop him self and blushed faintly. It was so adorable watching the two of them. "Umm hey Tianna...what're you going to do now? I mean...will you need any help with the baby or anything? I know you're set money-wise but I mean um...well I'm not sure what I mean." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

Niraj smiled nodding relievedly. "That what I mean...um..."He trailed off and took a few more bites of shrimp and steak before looking up again and asking nervously. "C-could I-I m-maybe hold her sometime? I m-mean if y-you don't w-want me to I understand...it's j-just I've n-never held a baby and w-well and if I'm g-going to help you with her..."

She held out her arms, presenting the little girl to Niraj so he could hold her.
((Mostly. I had a bunch of viruses and Trojas on it. I'm gonna run another scan tonight. And do a bunch of defrags so it runs rght again.))

Niraj blinked slightly surprised she'd let him and taking the little girl gently made sure to hold the back of her head gently to support her neck. He smiled looking down at Adelina and cradled her in his arms lightly. "She's beautiful..."He said smiling serenely as he looked at the baby. "Thank you for letting me hold her Tianna..." He smiled gratefully at her and for once he was completely at ease. The usual shadow of worry and nervousness wasn't stretched across his face. He looked down though after a few seconds blushing faintly afraid she might think he was staring. He'd gone back to his regular self-conscious attitude.

She smiled. He looked happy holding the baby. She knew he'd be a good dad someday. She finished eating her food, happy to not be eating for two any more.
