Meh, Guidebooks. They're just a crappy version of gamefaqs that you pay for in my opinion. They have innacurate info all the time and take up so much space. The best way to get a cheap copy of something rare is to go to some rural town and check all the local gaming stores. They usually have some nice finds.

Somewhat off-topic (Suiko2 wise) but ITA. The S5 strat guide, while hilarious, SUCKS.

Really? I haven't bought it yet lol. But yeah, in Tactics they said that all "speaking" characters "can't" die. BUT WTF JEWEL DIES DAMMIT!!! AND DARIO AND NELLEO! scream

What did they say about Oboro? 0_0

Seriously... and there are tons of grammatical mistakes and spelling errors in it too. LOL at Rainfall. Or wall. Whichever the wrong one is. And the quality of some of the pictures just plain sucks.

There are always mistakes in guide books, which is kind of weird, if you ask me. There are a few mistakes in the Star Ocean 3 official guide book... But of course, nothing beats Suikoden V's... My God, that thing is a train wreck.

Well, I guess some people are smart enough to get the gist of things... Although there are no excuses fo those terrible screw ups in the SV guide. All they do is confuse people.

It's actually very simple why the guides mostly suck. They rush these guidebooks out to meet the release date of the game and capitalize on the new game fever. You see the game on the shelf, go to the counter to ring it up and not only see tons of guidebooks for it on the way but you have the clerk go "would you like the guidebook with that?" It's like the "would you like fries with that" of the video game industry -.-0

The most decent guides are the ones released way after a games release, most notably the Versus books. Only problem is they're HUGE and after your 3rd guide you're already running out of room crying

Hey I just have something to share about SII. I don't know if you guys knew this already but... here goes.

It's about Vincent/Simone in the bath. If you fill your party with male party members, they suddenly appear in the women's bath... rofl Singly with Simone or Vincent and even to both.

Because aristocrats are known to avoid peasants in Suikodenverse that's why...
