I found that aeriths dead was the saddest moment in the final fantasy series for me the music, the scene and the whole setting really did bring that emotion to life. But i guess the second saddest moment was at the end of final fantasy 10 even though yuna overcame everything and survived she lost the one thing she wanted the one chance she thought at a good life and for me i found that a sad moment.

I'm going to have to go with the first sending Yuna does in X, or the end when Tidus jumps off the airship...so sad. I

i think that final fantasy 8 had the saddest... i always remebered beating the game just to watch it over and over... just something about it made me really sad..

I think I'd have to put my vote into when Aeris Died. It wasn't graphic or overdone, it was just right. They gave you time to watch it, but not to sit and stare.

The saddest scene for me is the end of FFX. When Yuna falls to the ground and it shows her face as she's lying there... That makes me start balling every single time... crying

The ending off FFX was the saddest part for me. I laughed when Aeris died..cause Sephiroth was my boy and I never liked her in the first place. When Auron was sent I started to cry and when Tidus started to fade..I turned into a baby. I bawled during Yuna's speech too, and when we had to fight the Aeons..and during the fight with Jecht..The entire FFX ending had me emotional probably because I had 200+ hours on the game and had gotten attached to the characters so much.

I didn't care when aeris died. I really didn't like her character, and I had been told what happened before I even played the game.
However, the end of FFX where Yuna runs through Tidus, and falls, it's the saddest thing ever.
Real tears from that one.

I'd have to agree with most of you, when Aeris was killed in VII was the saddest, another one I thought was at the end of X, when Tidus had to fade away.

Final Fantasy X
When Tidus and Yuna are forced to seperate after the Final Sending. Two people, both young and madly in love, having to be seperated by fate and 1000 years. A girl who was doomed to die and a boy from a dreamland Zanarkand.

either the part in ff9 where zidane tells his story to dagger while they're in black mage villiage or when he decides to go all emo on everyone when they're on terra....that's my ff9 side anyway......but aeris is still the saddest i can think of when cloud puts her back in the lifestream and all (in the movie)

I got emotional when Blank got petrified in FFIX, but it was nothing compared to the end of FFX.
