The shadow came back to Kyo and lead him to stairs. Grabbing the cold door handle, Kyo pulled his hand back and tried once more. Giving his hand a couple of seconds to not be numb, he kicked the door handle. Shattering into pieces, Kyo then pulled it open through the hole where the door handle was. "Cold..." Kyo said to himself as he went up a flight of stairs that lead him to a door that was locked. "Anyone over there?" Kyo yelled as he banged on the door.

Arch the Angel ((Tally up yer power uses and saves, folks, cause yer in for another skirmish.)) The elevator started up again, the reserve power kicking in. The elevator stopped, the doors slowly opening in time with a soft 'ding'. Through the widening crack, the ones of the group who were looking could see a small group of soldiers, three in all. Two had assault rifles, and one was kneeling with a RPG launcher aimed at the elevator. ((The two guards with the guns deal 5 damage, 10 life, blah blah. The RPG guy has 10 life as well, has a hand gun on his belt, and his RPG launcher deals only ten damage, but I wouldn't let it go off in the elevator, because it's a long fall. Advisable to stop it before it hits.)) The RPG guard fired the rocket at the opened elevator and the crowd inside. Bobby blasted the rocket with a lightning bolt, and fired his disabler and the guard with the launcher. [MP9:SP2:LP50] [Armor:2] [Disabler ammo: 4 used] ["High-Tech Weapon" ammo: 1 'cocktail' used]

((How close are they to us? Is it such a good idea to blow up a rocket inside a building? o.o; ))
Aly saw the small group of soldiers and knew they were in a bad posiiton. Being in an elevator with no where to hide while a rocket is being aimed at you was bad all around. She wanted to give her friends a more favorable position, so she lifted up her hands and pointed to each soldier's gun. In a matter of seconds, each gun was encased in ice and fell to the floor. The ice was so solid it hardly chipped when it hit the ground. [6-4-40]

It wouldn't harm them any, but it would weaken their ability to do damage. (7 2 50)

He called out with a shaky voice.

"Either play or cards right and open the door and do your job..." Kyo left of taping on the wall taking some breath in. "Or you can drop your cards and call for back up not knowing what I can do. I mean I'm only just one person..." Kyo said in a convising way, toying with Mickelson's mind and letting out a dark laugh.

So long as the man wasn't a commanding officer, there wasn't much he could do to him, or so he thought.

Cathy flowed out of the elevator and clubbed one of the soldiers with the butt of her weapon (normal attack), and looked around the room.

The man with the RPG fell to the disabler gun, while the other two's rifles froze and fell. They reached for their side arms, but one of them was hit in the face, reeling back. These two's unluck had not ended, as they found they were both blinded by a cloud of fog. Despite this, the two guards fired blindly, the guard who had been hit's bullet going towards Cathy, the other's shot fired harmlessly.

Meanwhile...
Down in the basement, as Xeen stood with the dreadnought, a cracked voice came over the intercom. "Funny. You try to sneak in on the biggest military base in the Union, and you think that tunneling's gonna be an ace in the hole?" The voice laughed, and then died out. As his voice faded to nothing, a large, metal serpent burst from the tunnel the dreadnought made. Before either could get a proper look at it, it barreled into the Dreadnought, carrying it through a wall and into a massive chamber.
The room had a giant domed roof, and bare walls, except for the entrance just made, and a large light on the roof. The metal serpent quickly moved away from the dreadnought, rearing up. It was made of a shiny silver metal, reflecting what little light their was to be had in the room. Hissing and groaning could be heard from within it, the sounds of metal on metal. The light at the ceiling was sufficient to show what the beast was: The Dreadnought. The voice from the intercom crackled back. "This is a standard procedure. We're the big bad military force, and your the small rebellion. Normally, we could stomp you all to dust, but you've got something we don't, something big and mean. So we decided to change that. Welcome one of our newest creations. We've created a proto-type of your dreadnought, powered by Pure Energy, and with more destructive capabilities than a platoon of tanks."
((The Proto-naught isn't as long as the Dreadnought, but it's thicker. It has 50 saves, and deals 5 damage a hit. It can also, for once a battle, launch missiles from ports on it's side. I roll a D20, and if it gets 5 or less, it deals 20 damage.))

It dusted it's self off after being rammed into the underground arena. ((You are aware that the Dreadnought's ability forces all attacks to deal it three? Well, aside from things such as the missles and it's ilk. But most power and phjysical attacks it "shrugs" off.)) Xeen watched as the Dreadnought promptly mauled it's twisted sister with two of it's talons lining it's side.
